Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)

It's a lot more than a few USA protests, there are European protests too, UN spokespeople talking of genocide, the ICJ hearings, the reports of humanitarian aids and journalists killed… All this is unprecedented and disastrous for Israel's image. -

The world is no longer turning a blind eye to the plight of the Palestinians, and the justifications put forward to justify their annihilation – annihilation which was decided from the beginning (cf. Ben-Gurion's 1937 letter to his son, "We must expel Arabs and take their places..."). -

Absolutely. But it is still notable that even in Israel, which is not exactly a Pro-Palestinian enclave, people are beginning to say enough is enough. -

Israeli airstrikes on Rafah begin despite mounting ceasefire pressure Palestinians in Gaza thrown into confusion by Hamas’s acceptance of a deal, followed by Israel’s sceptical response and bomb attacks [...] Hamas officials were quoted as saying the plan they had accepted involved a ceasefire, reconstruction of Gaza, return of displaced people to their homes and a prisoner swap deal, and that the deal would involve three phases, each of 42 days. [...] A Saudi foreign ministry statement warned of the “dangers of the Israeli occupation forces targeting the city of Rafah as part of its systematic bloody campaign to storm all areas of the Gaza Strip and displace its residents towards the unknown”. https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/may/06/gaza-ceasefire-hangs-in-balance-as-israel-carries-out-night-airstrikes-on-rafah -

There will not be a ceasefire as Netanyahu has been saying for months that he was going into Rafah no matter what. The only way to stop the Palestinian genocide is to cease international support to Israel. -

Its coming out right now. My wife's GP told her just two days ago that she made the biggest mistake of her life by believing the vax narrative – she is triple-jabbed and was very much pro-"science" just two years ago. She is currently taking lots of supplements to try to compensate the drastic decline in her health. From NewsNation: -

Fauci, March 2021. "The science" speaks. DR. FAUCI: Yeah. The vaccine hesitancy surrounding AZ, related to reports from the European group that there was a greater incidence of thromboembolic events associated with the vaccine: during this trial here, there was no indication at all. [...] And the European Medicines Agency — the EMA — indicated in their examination that they did not see an increased risk of these types of events. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/press-briefings/2021/03/22/press-briefing-by-white-house-covid-19-response-team-and-public-health-officials-18/ -
"Phongsak's solitary housing circumstances, his underlying conditions of an enlarged heart and pulmonary edema, along with his unwillingness to open his door for ventilation, all contributed to this tragic event." So he did not die because of the heat but of heart disease at the young age of 39. Lots of people have an enlarged heart and other cardiac damage these days.

More likely the impact damaged the speedometer. The largest XMAX model, the 400, can reach a top speed of 160, but it doesn't seem likely/possible that he was travelling at that speed on the road seen on the picture. -

Apart from the fact that temperatures in Thailand are totally normal, Europe is currently in a cold spell. I recall listening to an "expert" once on the radio, who explained (in awkward, convoluted terms) that unusual cold spells were actually a normal consequence of global warming… As long as people take these clowns seriously, why should they stop? 24/04/2024: As Europe endures an unusual cold snap, many fruit farmers are concerned for their summer harvests. https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2024/04/24/europes-fruit-farmers-worry-as-unseasonal-frosts-threaten-harvests

Or that nutcase who held Trump's bloody severed head before the cameras…

De Niro called for physical violence against Trump ("I wanna punch him in the face"), I don't recall Hannity or Carlson advocating for physical assault against anyone.

Say the wrong thing, harm the wrong people and you will go from hero to zero in an instant. Look at Susan Sarandon or Roger Waters. I actually agree with De Niro on his view linking vaccines to autism (this is the comment I responded to). He was going to show a film about it at the Tribeca festival, but gave in to pressure to remove it. If he hadn't, he would have lost a lot of "friends" and contracts.
