For most Trump supporters there is no line. I would guess that it would take something like a revelation that he raped and killed a 13-year-old girl to get them to consider changing their minds. No gaffe, no verbal idiocy, and no line that he crosses is too much for his supporters, not at this stage. They've already drank the Kool-aid, they've already bought into his nonsense. Like Chris Sununu recently said, his idiocy is already baked into the vote.

I think he's had psychological problems since the age of five, and typical of his persona he's never looked within for the source of the problem nor has he ever decided to get any help to address his multiple innate pathologies. Totally fake. A total lie. As I've said many times in the past I have major issues with Trump and Vance. I do not have issues with his supporters, I do not have issues with conservatives, I understand why they want to vote for him, I understand that many of the issues they have are different than mine. And that is totally valid. Some of my best friends and some very close family members are conservatives, we have dialogues, and when we discuss politics it is done with mutual affection and respect. When we start degenerating into a hateful mob, reduced to insults and memes, that's when we really have a problem. Often times when I'm speaking to somebody about politics and we've never spoken before on that subject I'll start off by saying there's one thing you need to know about me, I consider every Democrat at the national level to be a $35 street whore, and I consider every Republican at the national level to be a $40 street whore. Now that we've gotten that out of the way let's talk about politics. It generally puts them at ease.

Squat toilets are one of my least favorite things on the entire planet, as we get older our knees aren't what they once were. These toilets are just horrendous, when you factor in the lack of a proper hose and the lack of toilet paper it's not a very pleasant situation. Plus there's usually no place to hang your shorts so they end up getting wet and the whole thing is just one big mess. Yikes.

The quality of the talent on Phuket has diminished by 98% from just 10 years ago, young guys might like it, they might not know any different, but Phuket has fallen off the face of the map on so many levels. It is truly a pale shadow of its former self, even the tourists that are there now are very low end, mostly Arabs, Malaysians, Indians, and Russians.

I first visited Phuket 48 years ago, needless to say it was very undeveloped and quite idealic. I came back about 15 years later and it was starting to get developed but still very nice. As recently as 2010 it was far more developed but at least it had good night life. Now? Overcrowded, overpriced, chock full of obnoxious Russians and low end tourists, and some of the worst nightlife I've seen anywhere. Yikes. I never need to return.

There are many people in this world who have very little perspective about what it means to be poor, what it means to be stateless, or what it means to be a refugee. And those same people seem to be lacking in compassion to an alarming degree.

Wild nightlife? Ten years ago, maybe. Now? Other than Bangla, which is an abomination, I found the island boring and tame on my trip late last year. The nightlife has declined and is very poor.

The economy here has been in trouble for years. 9 years of Jurassic rule by Prayuth was devastating. And the effects are still being felt. Foreign investment is declining for a dozen good reasons. Foreign companies cannot count on the revolving door administrations. Manufacturing, exports, real estate, and other industries are down, and the goons in PT don't have a clue. In addition, China continues to unfairly sponsor industries for exports, and this creates great hardship for many local industries, like the Thai steel industry, which has taken a huge hit. With China it is a one way street. Ever tried to sell an item and send it to China? Nearly impossible. All imports are govt. controlled. It is all about exporting anything and everything they can and very selective importing. A highly controlled market with thousands of companies getting govt. subsidies. They don't believe in a level playing field, nor playing fair. Lastly, the tourism sector has been declining in quality. The arrival numbers might be decent, but they are not spending like in the past. The economic troubles here are only going to continue.

This is meant to address refugees and those who have spent their lives in Thailand, and are stateless. It is a decent thing to do.
