  1. They were good friends. They hung out together. Trump is on videotape speaking with the predator telling him he also likes them young. No doubt Trump spent alot of time at the mansion, doing who knows what to whom. How man times did he visit the island? We will likely never know. All some of us can hope is that he is a two time loser come Tuesday, and get the jail term he so richly deserves.
  2. One dissatisfied man's perspective. Not truth. Not reality. Just your reality. Which is a whole lot different than many of ours, thankfully. After a month in the US, all I want to do is leave. I literally cannot wait to return to my wonderful life here.
  3. Yeah I see that the topic about the new look is closed to comments, but I wanted to compliment the admin as the new look is quite nice, and the interface is easier to use, easier to read and a big Improvement. Thanks.
  4. Same applies to susanlea and bobsmith. Thankfully they both seem to have disappeared.
  5. I live here but I go to back to the US 2 to 5 times a year for work-related endeavors, and family visits, so I am here most of the year. However I spend enough time in the US to realize just how joyless the place is, and just how ridiculously overpriced nearly everything is. The vast majority of my friends and family who live there feel the same way about inflation and the degree to which everything is overpriced these days. Monaco and London are now cheaper than most major cities in the US.
  6. If it leads to environmental devastation, if it leads to the dismantling of any kind of environmental safeguards, if it leads to the destruction of wilderness areas and the complete surrender of national lands to mining, timber and big oil, Trump is there to support it. That is just who the man is, that it's just what he's all about, it's all about corporations, and it's never about the people, despite his protestations to the contrary.
  7. Trump and a lot of his followers say that I'm a communist, a Marxist, a fascist, a non-patriot, a traitor, and that I drink the blood of babies in the basement of pizza parlors in New York. Do I care? Not one iota. Why? Because I have a self-esteem, and I have thick skin, and I'm not a victim.
  8. One wonders if there will be a conviction in this case, and if so if there will be any high-ranking officers who will be sent to prison for a significant period of time. It is an extremely rare occurrence here and the will to go after these guys seems to be very minimal.
  9. By embracing an OL/OA (open legs, open arms) policy with immigration Thailand has essentially invited the Russian Bratva and the Chinese Triads to come and operate here. Of course there is much discontent over that because they're competing with the local mafias, but it's probably too late to reverse that trend. They are far more worthless and they are far more clever.
  10. The government should offer incentives, for the farmers to switch crops. This is 2021. Rice and sugar worked in previous centuries. Now, they do not make any sense. Too labor intensive, too much degradation of the land, water, air, and resources. Let's get with the times. Let us move forward. Likely far more than that amount of people that are suffering right now. And the authorities do not seem to care, one iota. If they did, something would be done. Instead, only hollow promises.
  11. There is a simple solution. The government should offer incentives, for the farmers to switch crops. This is 2024.
  12. Going back to the US is not an option for me. I would not want to live there now, unless I was being paid over a million dollars a year, and then I would only do it for 3 years, and then leave. For me, it is about quality of life, and my level of fulfillment on a daily basis, which I seem to have here in abundance. A big factor here, is the relatively light hearted attitude of the people. You just do not find that in the US, where most seem bitter, disenchanted, unfulfilled, and heavy hearted. I love it here. Everyday here is a good day. We all have our own reality.
  13. Cowards, tiny men and women, alley trash, and lowlife vermin will typically deflect, create a fake narrative and do anything in their power to avoid taking responsibility for a problem of their own making.
  14. For certain, it sounds like it is a good time for you to move on. For sure, the magic is gone, for you.
  15. That is a profoundly sad and spectacularly ignorant reply. You must begin to wean yourself off the podcasts immediately.
  16. Absolutely not, I never worry about defamation laws. They were written by and for cowards. Never cower in the face of extreme ignorance and injustice.
  17. I don't see many Americans out on the streets fighting crime. However, I do see alot of familoes with hordes of weapons, that kids seem to have just enough access to, so that they are enabled to shoot up a mall, or their school, their classmates, and their teachers. Justify it all you may. It is way too easy to access firearms in the US. And the result is horrific.
  18. This is an excellent result, one can only hope that the Latino community takes notice, and stops their insane support of this man. How could they not understand the fact that he not only is a racist, but that he despises people of color. Especially those who are not wealthy.
  19. One often wonders, from a philosophical point of view why the universe couldn't be set up in such a way that dangerous and heinous scum like Putin, who just suck the blood of society, couldn't just expire from natural causes. I guess I can keep on dreaming.
  20. Outstanding news, the more difficult they can make this creeps life, the more this incident costs him in the way of treasure and public humiliation, the better. Some people forget that ultimately we are guests in this country, and we should all be treating the locals with respect. This guy is a lowlife street thug, and should be treated as such. Utter vermin.
  21. Conviction and Trump in the same sentence is highly ironic, considering both his historic lack of sincerity, and the 36 felony counts.
  22. Thanks. A voice of reason, in the wilderness of delusion. Are we forgetting the infamous proud boys? Or January 6th? Or was that just a "friendly gathering"?
  23. 315 lbs. is closer to the mark. You are right. There is almost an unspoken rule, that no matter how flawed the man is, no matter how idiotic his statements are, utter and complete fealty is demanded of his supporters. One can only imagine how extreme that tendency will become, if he is given a second term. I pray for his defeat, and then a long prison term.
  24. A second term will embolden Trump to be far more willing to step over many, many lines, and behave more like a dictator and a ruthless gangster, seeking revenge against his perceived enemies. He has stated those kinds of intentions. This is a highly insecure and very unstable man. Harris is not ideal. But, I think she is the far less dangerous choice. Trump is the true fascist.
  25. T** means Trump deceives his supporters. You are living proof.
