I really do find quite fascinating how offended Trump supporters get when you criticize him. Objectively speaking the man is likely the most offensive, most ignorant, and most ill informed politician of my lifetime. Every time he opens his mouth his incredible level of ignorance is on full display, he rarely ever talks about substance, and he spends the vast majority of his time name calling and criticizing everyone that he doesn't like. It is quite astonishing to me how MAGA has descended to a level where some of the less intelligent supporters are simply reduced to slogans, name calling as a juvenile tribute to their political Master, and memes rather than intelligent discussions. All Democrats are communist All Democrats are baby killers All Democrats support trans rights. All democrats are woke Do you know where we get our power from? We drink the blood of infants in basements of pizza parlors.

She is not suggesting huge tax hikes on the American people in the form of insane and poorly conceived tariffs on imported goods. She is not a career criminal, who has made a fortune off the backs of good, hard working Americans, who are small contractors and have had the great misfortune to deal with Trump. She is not a scam artist and a huckster. She is not a racist. Nor does she support white supremacists. She has not had five enormous bankruptcies, where she's walked away from many billions of dollars in debt. Nor has she had five deferments from serving her nation. She does not belittle veterans and the military and scorn their service to their country. She actually pays income tax, like most decent Americans. She does not despise immigrants, who have helped to build America. She's a decent human being, she's not a hater, and nor is she a clown. She is not of average intelligence. She's not a predator nor has she ever been accused of sexual assault, or paying people hush money. And she's not a pathological liar, that's enough reason for her getting my vote.

I guess you must have an issue with reading, or perhaps comprehending what you're reading. I specifically said the man is brilliant. I said he's socially inept, those are two very different things.

Musk is obviously a brilliant man in certain areas, socially he's really inept, and Bezos seems to have it over him in that department. Sometimes it just pays to be quiet and keep your nonsense to yourself. The other aspect of Tesla is that it's simply a junky car, and as time goes on it gets junkie. The new model 3 feels like they spent under $1,000 on the entire interior with the exception of the display. It just has such a cheap feel to it. I don't think you win over customers by lowering the quality of a product year after year.

Thankfully this kind of nonsense is relatively rare in Thailand, I am from the US and we have a mass shooting there nearly every day. Americans absolutely adore their guns and their violence.

I make it a point of pride to not use the X platform, never have and never will. Same applies to tik tok. You got to have your standards in this lifetime, that's just one of mine.

My guess is that less than 100 Latinos will change their vote to Harris after that ridiculously dumb and tone deaf remark by this comedian. In general I don't think comedy should be censored, however in the run-up to an election insulting all Latinos is just not a smart move. The people seem to have their minds made up, and nobody seems to be shifting votes. I could cite a dozen reasons why Latinos, people of color, and immigrants should not vote for Trump, but they would fall on deaf ears. There is no question that Trump is unfit for office on a dozen different levels. I could name them but there's no point. Everybody knows who he is, everybody knows what he's done, however his supporters embrace a style of denial and support him nonetheless, no matter what he does, and no matter how foolishly he behaves. I will admit as a Centrist Democrat that Harris is a poor alternative. She has not been a particularly good candidate, and she has not put forth specific policy that is all that appealing, plus there is something about her that's just kind of grating and annoying. I did vote for her because for me the alternative is horrific, and Trump scares me. I believe his intentions are heinous and I believe the direction that he could take the country in is nothing short of dangerous. I consider his tariff plans to be a huge tax hike and I could go on and on all day about the reasons to not vote for him, but that doesn't seem to mean anything to his devotees.

Thankfully, most restaurants do not engage in this kind of piracy. In the US recently and a very weak and PC friend left a 20% tip on an expensive take out order. It made me sick seeing that and I told him what a weak move that was. Just say no to piracy.

Yes. Trump is a really sweet, cuddly teddy bear type. Nothing but goodwill. A mensch is a good person, someone you really like and admire. Your neighbor who offers you a ride to work every time he notices that you've missed your bus again is a mensch. Another word from the Torah that comes to mind for me is rachamim, or compassion. Rachamim comes from the Hebrew word rechem, which means "womb." When we feel compassion for other people, we are recognizing their bodily selves—recognizing that each of us was born, each of us skins our knees sometimes, or feels tired sometimes, or feels hungry. To be a mensch, to act with chesed, is to also recognize and take care of that part of our shared humanity—to help each other up when we fall, to give a friend a hug when their shoulders are sagging, to share our bread with the hungry. That describes Trump in a nutshell. Such a kind and charitable man.

Obviously the republicans are feeling some desperation. The drivel that continues to flow is astonishing. May they lose the election, and may they lost big.
