Here is what Trump has done for America!: Only 13 Presidents failed to get re-elected. Only 5 Presidents failed to win the popular vote. Only 4 Presidents have been impeached or resigned. Only 1 President has ever been criminally indicted. And only ONE President has done ALL FOUR. - DJT didn't lower taxes (He deferred them) - He didn't get Americans that healthcare coverage - He did not unite the USA, he divided it - He didn't lower prescription drug prices - He didn't get roads or bridges built He didn't decrease the deficit - He didn't end the opioid crisis - He made over 250 visits to his golf clubs costing us taxpayers $150 million - He didn't revive the coal industry - He didn't make covid-19 'disappear' He didn't make Mexico pay for the wall He is ranked the worst President in history He added $2 Billion a month in tariff costs to the American consumer He has a net-negative jobs creations for his administration He decreased corporate taxes, passing the tax burden to the workers He added $ 7.8 Trillion to the deficit - a full 25% of the total deficit He incited an insurrection against our government He is the only president to never achieve 50% approval. He didn't put "America first" and he sure didn't "Drain the Swamp... He left office with the worst job numbers of any President since the Great Depression with a net job loss over his term He is the first former president to be a CONVICTED FELON (34 times). These are all good reasons NOT to vote for Trump.

I think the Republicans are simply floundering at this point, and Trump's entire campaign is lost. They're using the silliest little things to attempt to discredit Harris and Walz. Yes Walz did have a drunk driving incident, fortunately nobody was killed, he fessed up to it, he stopped drinking, which is a lot more than you can say for the vast majority of drunk drivers, and he's a really good man. He's such a good man the Republicans don't know what to do with him, they've completely lost any sense of messaging, the campaign is floundering like never before, they're heading toward a massive and humiliating defeat, they seem to know it, and desperation has set in.

That is highly amusing, I always find it to be quite ironic when Trump supporters bring up a lie of Harris, Walz, or Biden, when Trump has been documented as telling thousands upon thousands of lies. It's his stock in trade for God's sake.

Red Shirts in Korat celebrate Paetongtarn's election as PM
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Such silliness. There's nothing wrong with having hope but hope is nothing if it's not based upon a reality. Will she be able to engage in anything constructive? There are only two reasons why she was selected, number one is her father and number two is the fact that she's young and there's a false notion that she would somehow represent the aspirations of the youth. We all know that's not going to be the case, she listens to the dinosaur for advice, and she represents the elite, and the corrosive powers, and everything that's regressive and wrong with Thailand at this moment in time. I hate to sound hopeless, but they're going to need somebody like Thanathorn or Pita to lead the nation out of this moment of darkness. It will happen eventually, none of us really know how long it's going to take, it's up to the Thai people to decide. -

It's not just sliding poll numbers at this point, it's sliding Trump and Vance. Their campaign is completely out of control, they've lost all ability to control the narrative, Harris and Walz have taken all the wind out of their sails, people are finally enthusiastic, and those poor guys are flailing like very incompetent campaigners. On top of that I think people are just tired, they're tired of the lies, they're tired of the nonsense, they're tired of the juvenile name calling, they're tired of the bashing, they're tired of the hatred and lack of policy, they're just experiencing Trump fatigue, finally.

Trump And His Feverish Crowd Size Envy

Was that last line yours? I co-opted it from one of the most brilliant posts I've seen on this forum in a very long time. If that was yours I thank you from the bottom of my heart, genius and satire are always appreciated. -
They're likely millions upon millions of people who would like nothing more than to see this absolute creep locked up for many many years, but the sad truth is that we all know that he's above the law. The top army officers answer to nobody here, and this goon is above any and all laws. However the one good thing that comes out of this is that this incident really illustrates exactly who this man is, and exactly what this man is. Which is a corrupt, heinous, toxic, useless and overly entitled general who has been bossing around kids his whole life, and is completely intolerant of questions, criticism or anything but absolute fealty and obedience.

In my opinion he started to fade in the last year of his presidency. He may have had a minor stroke. Since then, it has been a steady downhill path. Far less coherent than in the past, very hard for him to continue a sentence for more than 15 seconds, alot of rambling, complaining, playing the victim card, and juvenile name calling as usual. Even most of the CEO's he met with a month ago were shocked at how lacking his message was. He is in the beginning stages of severe cognitive decline and it's a horrific thing to watch, he's an increasingly dangerous man and having him as the oldest elected president in history would not be a good thing. He rambles on and on, and it is easy to discern that he has a very hard time maintaining a thought for more than 15 seconds. He is, and has always been the master of slogans, and memes, but the public is just getting tired of the same game, day in and day out. He does not possess the creative juice to adapt, and that is absolutely killing his campaign, at this point. He is headed for the greatest humiliation of his lifetime. He's old, he's tired, he's now the oldest person to ever run for president, he's feels like he's 85 or 90 right now, he seems to be losing interest, he seems to be losing the plot, his message is getting tired, he has no ability to dance on his feet and be creative, and adapt, and he just seems to be disintegrating before our eyes, which is a beautiful thing to watch. And now, he seems to regret his choice of Vance, and seems very stressed out over Harris. Can't blame him for that. He and his campaign does seem to be imploding. The real issue now is that JNNP Trump (just nasty, no policy) has no message. He is a broken record, and people are getting tired of hearing the same juvenile no sense every time he speaks. He does not have a plan B. And he is incapable of adapting. This is just who he is. One game plan. Super nasty, all the time. The people want more. Alot more. Harris/Walz, no matter what you think of them, they're giving the people hope, they're giving the people something to believe in, they have a positive message. That's what people want right now and Trump and Vance are both incapable of that.

Oh yeah I've been supporting baby killing for a long time the Earth doesn't need babies so why not? It is quite astonishing to me how MAGA has descended to a level where some of the less intelligent supporters are simply reduced to slogans, name calling as a juvenile tribute to their political Master, and memes rather than intelligent discussions. All Democrats are communist All Democrats are baby killers All Democrats support trans rights. All democrats are woke Do you know where we get our power from? We drink the blood of infants in basements of pizza parlors.

Trump And His Feverish Crowd Size Envy
spidermike007 replied to FriscoKid's topic in Political Soapbox
This is a man who feels tremendous anxiety, very low self-esteem, and is very insecure. He feels the constant need to build himself up, to build up the crowd size, to build up the size of everything surrounding him, to make himself look like a bigger. Most psychologist would agree that this comes from very deep-seated inadequacies. Sizeness, hugeness, everything in his life has always been exaggerated. Frankly I think people are just getting tired of it, his schtick is getting very old. So is he. Everything about the con-man referred to as Trump is unlikeable. He's everything wrong with the human animal, all stuffed into one specimen.- 403 replies

That's pretty rich coming from one of the least authentic men I've heard speaking in the last several years, everything about this man feels fake, everything about him feels phony and he lies and lies and lies, just like his running mate. In addition he seems to be in meltdown mode just like Trump, they just can't seem to find their footing, and they're heading toward a historic loss.

Paetongtarn Shinawatra to be Nominated as Thailand's New PM
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They are not puppets. They are Muppets. If I were a gambling man I would wager that she will be the least popular PM of the 21st Century. She has nothing to offer, the family has nothing to offer, the entire family and the entire party are morally bankrupt, they are no longer the party of the people since her father sold them out to the army, and this is nothing more than backwards movement, with regressive policies disguised by a youthful PM. The recent events are worthy of a mass funeral. Thailand might have been the tiger of SE Asia a decade or so ago, having been the 22nd largest economy in the world, but those days are long gone. So, I would say it would be safe to refer to Thailand as an up and coming, developing country, post Covid. I would not be surprised to see Thailand in 75th place in terms of GDP, 20 years from now. There is absolutely no doubt the nation is moving backwards, on at least a dozen levels. And unless a dynamic leader like Thanathorn or Pita is allowed to lead, the great tiger will continue to devolve into a sickly, whiny, hungry little alley cat. -

How do you survive a visit from the dreaded Thai family?
spidermike007 replied to Chris Daley's topic in General Topics
I did not say it was easy. Judging by many of my friends, it is very difficult. I was fortunate. Many are not. But, I really took my time with her. And pushed back alot. Always remember one very important fact. You are a man. You have as much control as you are able to establish. You set the agenda. Time is always your ally. Not hers. She is almost always going to be in a hurry to make things happen. And lastly, if she is willing to come and stay with a guy she has never met before, she has more than likely been working as a bar girl, in a special massage parlor, or as an escort or freelancer. Very few real "civilians" would move that fast, nor be that forward. Buyer beware. And be good to yourself. Man up. Leave behind the Western ways of emasculation. -
I have a very credible source, my life! I travel back to the US 2 to 4 times a year and every single time I go back things are 10% higher, everything is 10% higher, it's now $100 to fill up a small grocery bag. Inflation in the US is so insane that London, Monte Carlo and Paris are now cheaper to visit than Los Angeles. I just returned from Europe. Everything was cheaper than in the US now. Is that accurate enough of a scale for you? I don't depend on government numbers which are established using very silly commodities to establish a low inflation rate, I depend on my wallet and the cost of living to make accurate assertions, as to what's really going on in my life, and on the ground. Inflation here is significant but not outrageous. In the US it is insane. And it has barely slowed down.

How do you survive a visit from the dreaded Thai family?
spidermike007 replied to Chris Daley's topic in General Topics
I have a set of ground rules for choosing a life partner, by the second date I want to know about her relationship with her folks, and I will avoid getting seriously involved with somebody who does not have a healthy relationship with their family, and does not have a family which I really like and respect. This is where she came from, this is what she's made of, and if you don't like her family, for me that's a real warning sign. Same applies to your friends. If your friends don't like her, that's another warning sign, listen to it. I love the occasional visits from her family, I adore her mom and dad, and am quite close to both her sister and her brother. They're all remarkable, hard-working, honest, kind, and really fun people to be around. And her folks did an amazing job of raising her and helping to create a remarkable woman. The finest I have ever known. Maybe I was very fortunate but I was also very picky, and I took a very very long time to get to know her and her family. It paid off.- 60 replies
