  1. I have bought and sold things on Facebook but always in person, never online. I found the item or the service online and then met in person to conclude the sale. Why would anybody send money to a complete stranger on Facebook rather than through one of the booking apps, and did they research the property using Google, Agoda, or Booking.com, prior to sending the money? These days there's so many scams that one has to be ultra diligent in order to avoid being on the tail end of one of these scammers. Let us make life difficult for these creeps, do not make life easy for them.
  2. He says nations that share the alliance’s vision of freedom, democracy, liberty and human rights. Ha. As if Thailand were anything even closely approaching a democracy. With coups and stolen elections, as a regular occurrence.
  3. Both Chiang Mai and Bangkok are the New Beijing. They are now up there on the level of nearly hopeless, and both are true crisis zones. Nobody knows the extent of people with failing lungs, and respiratory issues. This sits squarely on the tiny shoulders of Sretta, who is doing absolutely nothing. It appears to be quite the opposite he seems to be doing everything in his power to not hold sugar farmers and not hold Big Agra responsible for this.
  4. If this guy had been on the ball they likely could have reached the port prior to the ship sinking. I don't know if it was a lack of experience, a lack of intelligence, a lack of planning, or if the man was just simply unqualified for the job. Under most circumstances he would have resigned immediately, why this is taken several months is anyone's guess. The Thai Navy is just one of the truly pathetic branches of the Thai military, the army is number one by a longshot, in uselessness and massive sucking of the country's resources, the Navy seems to be number two, and I guess the air force is probably the most competent of the three, but that's not saying much.
  5. Sending Anutin up there for an air inspection is a bit like asking Miley Cyrus to inspect a nuclear reactor and find out why it's not at optimal performance. All he had to do with stay in Bangkok. The air in Bangkok has been horrific for months now. This guy's has been over his head since the beginning. His extreme failure as a health minister was evidenced during covid, and now this guy is Deputy PM? My question to this administration is are you guys deliberately shooting for the bottom of the barrel? Are you trying to find the least qualified person possible, for the job, or is this all about cronyism?
  6. Shooting it down would be a fun thing to witness, never in a million years would Burma considering attacking Thailand at this point in time. They don't have the guts, they like attacking innocent ethnic villagers and raping them while they're at it. That's their style, that's their M.O.
  7. I am a Issan often and I'm constantly witnessing sugar and rice cane fields being burned, and the smoke is horrendous, and it travels for kilometers and kilometers, and fouls the air to no end. It is a crime against the Thai people and the perpetuation of this shows a staggering lack of respect that these farmers have for their neighbors, and the nation. Same applies to the foul sugar refiners.
  8. And how many other exceptions are there to the rule that the RTP never, ever, under any circumstances get tried, prosecuted, convicted and imprisoned. How many others can you cite? Sometimes when a crime is so open and so notoriously and gets so much attention the RTP and the dysfunctional justice system has no choice other than to act, but it is almost certainly against their will.
  9. Well I'm not sure if he's intending it as an excuse or rather as a reality, can you teach a monkey to eat dinner with a fork? There are certain limitations that people have and when you are brought up in such a brutal, oppressive, horrifying, depressing environment as the Russians have endured it's likely that they simply are incapable of change, nor civility.
  10. After approximately 2 months no charges have been issued against any parties. That smells about as fishy as a rotten snapper left out in the sun for a week. Why have no charges been issued, what's going on here, is this about money being exchanged? The RTP. What can one say?
  11. There are multiple reasons why investors should be avoiding Thailand, the economy is in trouble here, the economy has still not recovered from the Prayuth Decimation. 9 years of horrific army economic policy with a terrible finance minister and after all that you would think that they would have learned something. But instead they appoint an unqualified, unelected PM as the Economic Minister also. Do they think that this is a big game, what are they thinking? Why such staggering levels of ignorance and nonchalance? There is a price to be paid for stupidity.
  12. The deputy prime minister further instructed pertinent state agencies to collaborate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The goal is to initiate discussions with neighbouring countries suspected of contributing to the transboundary haze pollution in Thailand. This is such a scandal, this is such a heinous level of deflection on the part of these Thai government creeps who refuse to acknowledge responsibility for the dangerous health hazard facing the nation at this time. This is the worst pollution I've seen in over a decade, and the continuing unwillingness to confront Big Agra (the sugar refiners) and the sugar and corn growers is one of the major factors here. Blame it on forest fires across the border, blame it on whatever you want, most of us know what the truth is and most of us know that you guys are guilty as sin and totally sold out to corporations and Big Agra. I thought Prayuth was compromised, I thought Prayuth was corrupt. Sretta is elevating corruption and compromise to an unheard of level. Lock him up. Punish him. The jig is up as they say.
  13. The Thai government may be closely monitoring the war in Burma, but the reality is that by remaining neutral and refusing to criticize the Burmese pig generals on any level, they are supporting them. Hopefully the resistance will prevail, hopefully the Burmese Army will continue to get their butts kicked, and hopefully these incredibly filthy billionaire generals will be exiled from their own nation. May justice prevail, may righteousness prevail, may the genocidal Burmese generals experience a well deserved and well earned pox on themselves, and their own families.
  14. As someone else on this forum very wisely stated it's not a bribe if someone offers you money to settle a lawsuit, it's a settlement so this is not really news. And the good doctor who claims to be shell shocked from all the attention seems to be coveting the attention, and she seems to have become obsessed with the attention.
  15. Biden is a dreg, but he's not as filthy or despicable a dreg As Trump. Harris is as filthy a dreg as we've seen in a half a century. The only other VP that was on her level with Spiro Agnew. She was a horrific choice and if Biden loses she will be one of the reasons.
  16. If you take a bar girl out, if you take a girl out of a Go go bar you simply approach her as a plaything and someone to have some fun with. The mistakes guys make is to try to make it something bigger than it is, something more significant than it is. A lot of guys come here and they're just vulnerable emotionally and they get with a girl who expresses some affection to them and they confuse that affection with the fact that the girl really likes him or the girl loves him. Then they get all bent out of shape when she starts acting like a bar girl or a go-go girl. It's just a completely twisted situation, and the guy is 100% to blame for allowing himself to get caught up in her world. It's not paying tribute to the gender. It is pure weakness and delusion.
  17. I often wonder the same thing, but I think the reality is that the political process now is so filthy, Washington is so toxic, and the animosity between the parties is so virulent that nobody with the right mind, nobody of nobility or honor would even consider running for the most toxic office in the land, which is the presidency. The same applies to the House and Senate. Only people with a great deal of megalomania, thirst for power, and thirst for money run for this office anymore. It now attracts only dregs like Trump and DeSantis.
  18. That man wouldn't know truth if it bit him on the ankles, he's never spoken truth in his entire lifetime.
  19. I guess these guys forgot that Trump considers alot of Mexican immigrants as rapists. The only immigrants that Trump likes are the illegal ones that he pays low wages to, to clean his homes.
  20. 30 or 40 years ago Samui was quite a paradise, but these days it really does feel like a dish rag that's been wrung out about 600 too many times, and continues to be used. If you get up into the mountains and if you get down onto certain beaches it's really lovely, but if you're on the Ring Road it's just one of the ugliest sites one could possibly encounter while on vacation. Much needs to be done to bring that island up to world class standards, I would say it might be in the top 200 islands, but nowhere near the top 10.
  21. For those of us who are non-smokers and find secondhand smoke to be incredibly foul and noxious, it is hard to even contemplate the fact that smoking was allowed on flights way back when. The ventilation system is simply inadequate to handle all that smoke from the smoking section, and it must have been incredibly putrid inside those planes.
  22. It is completely different, while there is massive corruption here, the military is not out slaughtering tens of thousands of people, raping women in ethnic villages, burning villages to the ground and displacing entire ethnic minorities. It is completely different here, and I'm not a big supporter of this government nor this army, but I would refer to them as a gentle junta in comparison to the Burmese Army, who are absolute pigs.
  23. It is a very common quality and characteristic for a lot of the world's billionaires to be tone deaf. They just don't understand the life of the average working class person, and they don't understand how upset people get when their billions allow them to live above and beyond the law. Especially here.
  24. Being neutral against the neighboring genocidal junta, is tantamount to being in favor of that junta. It is an admission of utter cowardice, and an extreme lack of moral conviction in the face of rot, corruption, rape, pillaging, and a massive stink on the western side of the border. Thailand remains a massive coward and any administration that's connected to the army will always be morally bankrupt, it is just the nature of the pathetic Thai Army.
  25. Well since the survey is likely based on what people admitted to having, it is likely that there were an awful lot of Thai men on there who exaggerated the numbers. On the other hand I do find that quite a lot of Thai women are promiscuous, so it wouldn't surprise me if we were talking about several dozen lovers. And I am not talking about the pros, either. That is into the 100's or 1000's.
