  1. There is a reason why smoking is not allowed on planes, this woman should not only be fined, she should be locked up. Maybe 90 days in the big house could be a deterrent for her next flight.
  2. An indictment and an arrest is one thing, a conviction and time in prison is quite another. Just think of the big joke, how many on this forum want to wager he'll never see a day in prison? He is as guilty as the night is long.
  3. If he were to be waterboarded or tortured or mistreated in any manner, while in the big house, you could very easily say that he spent nearly 50 years of his career earning that honor. One can only hope. Respect has to be earned and should never be freely given, and this man has never done anything in his lifetime to earn any respect.
  4. You sure don't like any criticism of your Master, do you?
  5. He is likely quite insane, definitely semi senile, and dangerously narcissistic. The real issue with Donald Trump is that he's a terrible negotiator, he cannot negotiate his way out of a paper bag and that makes him a huge risk as a leader. He also seems to have the emotional development of a 13 to 14 year old boy, that is quite an issue too for a world leader.
  6. He may be 6'3", but he is likely closer to 309 lbs. Not a fan at all. 17 of his businesses have failed in the past few decades. Some at huge losses. Trump Steaks, Trump Shuttle Airline ($120 million in losses between 1988 and 1990), GoTrump, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, Trump Ice, The New Jersey Generals, Tour de Trump, Trump Network, Trump Magazine, Trumped!. Many businesses that licensed his name went bankrupt, or went out of business. And he had between four and six major bankruptcies (depending on the source), including the Trump Taj Mahal (which he spent $1.2 billion building, and was $3 billion in debt within a year of opening), Trump's Castle, Trump Place Hotel (which was very successful prior to Trump buying it in 1988, and he managed to put it into $550 million in debt by 1992!), Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts ($1.8 billion in debt by 2004, bankrupt in 2009) , and Trump Entertainment Resorts. There are likely others. And this does not take into account the 3,600 lawsuits he was involved in as of the time he took office, the vast majority of which were filed by small contractors against his companies for non payment, or total default. Many of these contractors were crushed. It is part of his M.O. Nearly anything with his name on it, and his association with it, fails. And that will be even more so, after he loses the November 3rd election. His name will remain radioactive, the the rest of his life, and the mini empire will continue to dwindle. During the period from 1985 to 1989, three years of which were boom year in NY real estate, he somehow managed to lose $359 million. Between 1990 and 1991 he lost $517 million. And between 1992 and 1995 he again managed to lose $286 million. The real irony of his whole persona, is that he cannot negotiate his way out of a paper bag, much less negotiate a treaty with an adversary, which makes him very dangerous.
  7. Hooray to the Burmese people, may they bring utter misery to the junta, and the thieves that are controlling Burma, stealing their treasure, and inflicting misery on their people. They are total pigs. The Burmese army is a den of thieves, drug dealers, gem smugglers, human traffickers, serial killers, vote stealers and despot thugs. Billionaires raping the public. General Min Aung Hlaing is the top pig. He says the military will hold an election and hand over power to the winning party. Right. Can't handle the loss, you loser? “Action must be taken according to the law with effective steps against offences which disturb, prevent and destroy the state’s stability, public safety and the rule of law,” said a statement read by an announcer on state-run MRTV. Total nonsense. They are making up this crap as they go. The generals previously justified their takeover on the grounds of election fraud, promising to hold new elections. Now, they lost by huge margins. The people said enough. "Hundreds of thousands if not millions of people have been protesting about the coup and Min Aung Hlaing’s response astoundingly seemed to blame the democratically elected government of not being appropriately committed to democracy as one cause for the coup,” Lee said. Funny man. Desperate and weak too. “He then suggested that the economic environment for investment would be good under the military. Well, if you call billionaire generals good for the economy, well it is at least good for a few hundred idiotic, and ridiculously corrupt and morally bankrupt generals, anyway. When the Burmese army says they are uninterested in politics, that is total BS. They are power hungry thugs. Utter pigs and despots. The pussy, billionaire generals are thieves, robbing the people of their gems, their timber, their minerals and selling heroin for the sake of amassing wealth. And supported by extremist Buddhist monks against the minorities. Broken men. With their recent overthrow, they have self revoked the right to consume oxygen. May the Myanmar youth prevail! May the dinosaurs be pushed out. A pox on their families. A terrorist army. And shame on the morally bankrupt officials and Thai military, for granting that foul, horrific, toxic, obnoxious military, permission to fly over Thai airspace to rescue their ill-gotten billions.
  8. Another case of much ado about nothing. Just another nothing burger. So what, a couple of people are having sex. The mistake they made was uploading it online, why would people do that? What the agenda? This whole online thing is so silly these days, it's just such inane, juvenile behavior. With alot of these uploads, it seems like people will do anything for attention. And it also seems like people will demonstrate outrage over absolutely nothing, I think they just want to play the victim, victim culture is so popular at the moment. Such pettiness.
  9. While what you say is likely true, there are some things that we can directly affect and other things that we have zero control over. We can control some of our personal consumption of plastic, we can decide whether or not our plastic ends up by the side of the road or in the sea. We can decide not to buy plastic bottles containing water from 7-Eleven, or at a restaurant (I always bring my own bottle of water, to avoid consuming hundreds of bottles a year) or if we want to carry around our own bottle that we refill, we can decide if we want to carry grocery bags into the market that we use a hundred times, or have them give us five or six bags every time we shop. We can make a difference personally, while moaning and groaning about the issue does not make any difference, unless we take action.
  10. Thai beer is only rivaled by Serbian beer, and the mass produced American beers, in terms of the very low quality. Poor grade of hops, barely, and the production process seems to be entirely lacking in pride. Typical of the big monopolies. Even a large production beer, like Beer Laos blows away any Thai beer, hands down. Thailand desperately needs a vital craft beer movement, and the youth are ready to mount it. If only the dinosaurs would stop protecting their "bankers" and move out of the way. In other words, allow some progress, you mindless simpletons! Boon Rawd Brewery, which makes Singha, and ThaiBev, which brews Chang, the country’s best-selling beer, are owned and run by two of the wealthiest families in Thailand. Through longevity and political influence, these two breweries have dominated Thai beer for nearly a century, forcing out or crushing any competition, foreign or domestic. And we all know how they easily accomplish this. Thaopipob Linjittkorn, or Thao as he is more popularly known, a lawyer and homebrewer, was very publicly arrested in 2017 for making beer. He used that publicity to win an election to Parliament in 2019, along with 80 other members of the Future Forward Party. This progressive, pro-democracy party included in its platform a detailed plan to deregulate the beer industry, as well as a proposal for the legalization of marijuana, citing both as ways of putting money into the pockets of small businesses and local farmers. The opposition that Future Forward was up against is a military-backed, hardline government that supports the duopoly with strict regulations that allow it to control over 99% of Thailand’s estimated 180 billion baht ($5.8 billion) beer industry. The duopoly was originally made untouchable with the first Thai Liquor Control Act in 1950, a law which has been amended several times since to push legality even further out of reach of any small brewer. Prayuth's administration did much to reinforce the isolationist and nationalistic policies that Phibul established in the 1940s and ’50s, and called again and again for citizens to display a certain level of “Thainess,” which the PM defined in part as unquestioning loyalty to the government. Do not be disobedient!
  11. It is a really beautiful thing to watch the Burmese Army getting put down to the extent that they are right now. They are having huge problems, the resistance is only gaining strength, and one can hope that they are finally able to topple that spectacularly toxic, corrupt, and foul regime. Thailand should say no, however since this administration is largely controlled by the dreadful Thai army, which is morally bankrupt, they will likely grant whatever a neighboring despot nation requires.
  12. Excellent expose on the biggest joke in the history of the RTP, this guy is such a fraud, such a con, and likely as corrupt as the day is long. Lock him up, if that's possible, lock him up for life.
  13. Very good points, the other thing that I notice is slowing down a kilometer before a u-turn in the fast lane of the highway. Anywhere else in the world drivers with good sense would not commit such a dangerous mistake. Here, it's done all the time, you flash them your brights, you honk your horn and they just flash their signal to tell you that they're making a u-turn. It's completely inane. Such a lack of common sense and skill.
  14. I completely agree and for me what is even more worrying is the percent of the population that's going along with it, without question, without resistance, without putting up a fight. Just go ahead and monitor every single thing that I do, all day long, every day of my life, and I will not question it for a nanosecond. It reminds me a lot of the covid narrative and that nightmare that we've just gone through.
  15. You made my day, that was truly outstanding and the Nate White quote is brilliant. A great summary of a man lacking class to the extreme. I would go one step further and call him the very definition of an empty suit, he is literally a hot air balloon of a man.
  16. And that says a lot and it's truly an abomination on the nation, and such a testament to the lack of leadership and willingness to stand up to Big Agra and do what needs to be done to clean up the air, and make the nation safe for its people. Money always trumps safety here and the people always lose out to corporate interests. You may say that that's true anywhere in the world, but it's so incredibly obvious here in Thailand with the air quality being what it is. This is not just a big city thing this is nationwide, as you say, and that's the real boil on the face of the nation. If anybody thinks that Sretta is not sold out and morally bankrupt, all they have to do is look at the air.
  17. Guilty by association. Do you really think it is even possible that the #2 guy in the greatest pyramid scheme in the nation is NOT corrupt? It would defy imagination, and would put him in the position of a saint. He is not a saint, and I seriously doubt any of his crime buster credentials are authentic. After all, how many of the guys that he went after were convicted and sentenced? Very, very few.
  18. Asking anyone at a hospital for dietary advice would be something like asking blackpink for help with an advanced science project. Typical medical professionals know very little about diet.
  19. This man is such a coward, one day in prison and he would wet his pants. He could not go one day without a hamburger, this man doesn't know what the word sacrifice means, he loves to talk big as long as he thinks there's no consequences, and as long as he's convinced he will never have to follow up. Such insincerity.
  20. Air pollution causes countless diseases and wreaks havoc on the body. This essentially means that Sretta and this callous and useless administration has essentially chosen cancer and disease over the people. They have chosen Big Agra over law and order. And they have demonstrated very vividly and very clearly the level of moral bankruptcy within the leadership of this nation.
  21. He had an extremely good PR machine and he was a very convincing. He played a very good game, though I never bought it for a nanosecond. But it sure seemed like a lot of people did. He never fought crime, or corruption. He practiced crime and corruption. He just hogged the limelight, that's who and what he was. I hope they lock him up for a long time, though I suspect that's just a dream. He won't be convicted. They rarely go after their own.
  22. There are so many solutions to this problem starting with enforcement against burning crops, and starting with enforcement against the sugar refiners for accepting burnt cane. However this will not happen because none of the authorities have the courage to stand up to Big Agra, they are all bought and paid for and they're willing to sacrifice the health of their people and the nation, for a little bit of cash from the golden calf. Sretta, you get a failing grade. You are a dismal leader. Woe is Thailand on your watch.
  23. He is guilty by association. Being the national deputy director of the RTP means guilty until proven innocent. We pretty much know he's guilty, we just don't know how much he's guilty of collecting over the years. My guess is it's well into the billions, and this creep should have retired years ago when he was kicked out of immigration. The numnuts who hired him to lead the police are completely insane, and made a terrible decision, as he is anything but a crime fighter.
  24. I've climbed over many a fence in my day, but never one with sharp iron arrows pointing upwards, neither have I attempted to scale fences with lots of barbed wire nor walls with jagged glass. There are some things in life you just avoid, you can't get into your house you just figure something else out. You figure out an alternative, you use your survival skills to remain alive and well in this life. This guy sounds like he may have been slightly dim, or very drunk, neither of which is good for the honing of survival instincts.
  25. I guess the big question is where does that kind of behavior come from? Is it just an inability to practice vision to look a few seconds into the future? Is it an inability to ponder the ramifications of ridiculous behavior, and the tragic consequences that can have on you, your family and all the drivers surrounding you? I put a lot of the blame for this on the tiny shoulders of the pathetic highway patrol, and their bizarre unwillingness to patrol the highways, look for reckless drivers and provide a deterrent to the nation. What is the story with this kind of behavior, any insights would be appreciated because it's beyond mysterious.
