Cult in Isaan encourages women to worship vagina and penis statues
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
By saying they all seem the same to you, you are essentially saying you have very little interest in sex, these days. And that is OK. But, it is a bit like saying every painting is the same, or every song is the same. -
China overtakes Japan as world's top car exporter
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
And the beautiful thing about this equation, is that we have free will. I will be using that free will to make sure I never buy a Chinese made car. Not sure I would risk driving in one, if it was offered to me for free. -
Thailand Provides Humanitarian Assistance to Myanmar
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
How much aid? It does not state the amount, so it falls into the category of PR. And was it given to an organization that can get the funds to the people? Or, was it added to the tens of billions of dollars the generals are earning on timber, gemstones, mining, Chinese investments, slavery, and the drug trade? -
Over 10,000 Covid Cases In Chonburi Last Week
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
And whatever the vaccines did or did not do, they earned each of the major manufacturers tens of billions of dollars in profit. But, you are a radical if you question the narrative, so start behaving yourself. Be a good, compliant boy, and obey. I am not anti-vax. I simply like to be able to question things. And I stopped wearing a mask a year ago. No way I am going back to that. And I have no fear of covid in it's present form. Got it already. Have had flus that were worse.- 75 replies

Cult in Isaan encourages women to worship vagina and penis statues
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
Sounds like a fun and practical faith. Many humans already worship these organs. So, why not incorporate that into a faith? Seems very practical, and enjoyable way to enhance one's life. Personally, I find some vaginas to be a miraculous and spectacular thing to behold! -
China overtakes Japan as world's top car exporter
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Totally agree about the Korean cars. And many Korean products as well. Kia is also a great brand, as well as Hyundai, Genesis, and Renault Samsung. Other brands like Samsung and LG, are top quality, in the electronics arena. The Chinese need decades to prove themselves to the world. They make an awful lot of low quality stuff. Can they, and are they willing to master the kind of quality control the Japanese and Koreans have, remains to be seen, by a longshot. -
China overtakes Japan as world's top car exporter
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Granted, I am partial, but I will buy a Japanese car over a Chinese car, any day of the week, and likely for the remainder of this lifetime. 1. They are proven commodities. They have a track history. 2. They are very dependable. And easy to repair. 3. They are great cars, for the money and have good resale value. 4. Japanese cars are very safe. The jury is out on Chinese cars. I have reason to question the quality of the workmanship. 5. I do not find Chinese cars appealing anyway. MG looks nice on the outside, but on the inside they feel cheap to me, and the power train is not sufficient. They have cut corners. 6. They are made by a government that does not have huge concentration camps, nor do they engage in organ harvesting. Call me biased. I despise the CCP, and will do everything in my power to deny them support. There are alot of products I buy that are made in China. Not my car. Not now, and not ever. -
Speaking in very general terms, there is not much upside to frequently mentioning your ex to a current girlfriend or your wife. Unless, you are deliberately trying to destroy household harmony, piss her off, or you are trying to push her out the door. Unless you are a butthead, and just like getting under her skin. The problem is, there is a percentage of humanity that just does not think, before they talk.

Such a nothing burger. They were having a one on one conversation, and the clown interrupted them. Biden put him in his place. Trump has done far worse, and showed no regard to reporters ever, going as far as calling them juvenile names.

No problem in my life has ever been my fault, and that is precisely why I always utterly refuse to take responsibility for my actions. Why should I reflect, and look within for the source of the problem I caused, when it is always something else? It is never me. I am perfect. I never make a mistake. It was the road!

Move Forward party optimistic of positive response from senators
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is an opportunity for the morally bankrupt creeps to do the right thing. Hopefully, they are consulting with their psychics, who are telling them their lives will be nothing but misery, pestilence, sorrow, and pain, if they do not support Pita. Same applies to the lives of their family members. The people will not forget this time. Times have changed. You goons had your free for all, and your feeding frenzy. You likely enriched yourselves to a shameful degree. Time to let go. Time to admit you are despised, disrespected, and your time is in the past. See ya. Get out. Get out now. Make way for the future and the youth. Do it, or your regret will be profound!- 56 replies

Why do people do this.
spidermike007 replied to stratocaster's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
He likely did not have much in the way of "life savings", if a 3 year lease on the land wiped him out. The information we have been given is incomplete, and not enough for us to form much of a basis on. Rural land lease prices here are generally quite low, so no idea what this is about. Perhaps the OP would like to clarify some of this for us? -
Almost £42 for a quiche lorraine!
spidermike007 replied to phetphet's topic in Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao
When is the last time you were in a Gourmet market in Bangkok? Some of the prices are downright stupid. These days, you just have to be good at ignoring nonsense. I guess some fools buy this stuff. Not us, hopefully. -
Beware of purchasing big ticket items on Lazada
spidermike007 replied to spidermike007's topic in IT and Computers
Well, since I do not get embarrassed over what strangers think of me, it is not so. I may be experiencing some minor regret. But, that is about it. -
Beware of purchasing big ticket items on Lazada
spidermike007 replied to spidermike007's topic in IT and Computers
Partially. First of all they are not vetting vendors well. Second, they certainly could have made an effort to at least intervene, and ask the vendor where I can get the unit serviced, rather than throw it away. It is a strange and bizarre thing called customer service. -
I wanted to take a moment to warn my fellow members about Lazada. Though I have had generally good experiences with Lazada, on smaller ticket items, I bought my first larger item recently. It was a Vinocave wine cooler. Big mistake. Looked like an official dealer. First, they only offered a one month warranty, which I failed to notice. Second, nobody has ever heard of the brand (another mistake on my part, for not researching it enough). Third, the unit stopped cooling properly after only 4 months. And both the seller and Lazada are totally unhelpful, with something as simple as "how do I get it repaired, or any other solution. I am out of luck. Since I cannot find anyone who has ever heard of the brand online, looks like it may end getting thrown away, if a local appliance repair guy cannot figure it out. So, a word to the wise. When it comes to appliances, and other bigger ticket items, better to stick with the big box stores, such as Central, Power Buy, Home Pro, etc. They do offer service.

Covid was only one factor. The Prayuth Decimation is a far larger part of the picture. The damage done to the Thai economy, in the past 9 years is astonishing. The army is and was the worst thing to ever happen to this nation. They are a plague. They must leave politics, for good, in order for the nation to thrive. It is very convenient for the clowns to blame Covid. But it does not tell the whole story.

Pita Limjaroenrat: Meet Thailand’s (probable) next leader
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
His election is a truly great thing for this nation and shows that the people are both sick of being led by highly ignorant dinosaurs, with no interest in progress, and interested in smart, young folks, who are serious, accomplished, capable of change, and interested in insuring that Thailand has a good future. Pita is exactly what this nation needs, at this point in time. This is a huge blessing. I am optimistic. I think he will stick to his promises. This is a man who interrupted his studies at MIT, during an MBA program at Sloan to rescue his father's rice bran oil business, Agrifood, after this fathers death. He was successful, and is paying down the 100 million baht his father borrowed to start the company. This is a serious man. Very unlike the failures before him. He then went back and finished his MBA, at one of the top business schools on the planet. Compared to all the super low quality, bottom of the barrel men who have been in charge over the past 9 years, this is a new dawn. Go, Pita, go. We are behind you, proud of you and trust in you. You are giving us real hope, for a change Let us hope the greedy, toxic, moronic, backwards, incapable nitwits get the message, and back down. They need to figure out a way to get rid of the corrupt, army appointed senators. ASAP. By whatever means necessary. The youth have prevailed. It is a glorious day in Thailand!- 61 replies

1. We will take a pass. We prefer to avoid Chinese junk, and we don't want to be dependent on the CCP for maintainance. 2. We don't suffer from the same immature hubris the dinosaurs were saddled with. We have less to prove. 3. We are more concerned about the people, and the enormously deep holes Prayuth dug. We realize there are bigger problems to deal with. 4. We are rational. So, we realize one sub is a fairly useless thing to possess. 5. We understand that is has been over 60 years since a Thai sailor piloted a submarine. So, the experience is non existent. We will pass.

Russian tourist injured in Bangkok snatching incident
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
I disagree. This kind of thing is still rather rare here. In the US, it is very common. Happens all the time. In many other nations like the PI, Cambodia, Canada, and throughout Europe, it is also very common. Petty crime remains low here, thankfully.- 51 replies

I have gotten to the point in my life where I have no more tolerance with utter foolishness, or piracy. If faced with a dumb situation like this, I would abandon Phuket faster than you could say, WTF? See ya.
