If you truly respect the will of the people and the results of the election, will you allow them to replace your 250 senate goons? That would be only right, no Cha Cha? Fair is fair, after all. Or do we have to replace them for you? By whatever means necessary.

Trump re-election not just possible, but likely.
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
In case you forgot: “The lands Trump tried to cut out of the Staircase have an ‘open for business’ sign on them. Off-road vehicles, coal mining, drilling and other activities that without a doubt would destroy monument objects would be allowed,” said Steve Bloch, legal director for the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance. “Even in areas that remain in the monument, the plan would drive down protections to the lowest common denominator that would result in damage to culture sites, paleontological resources, and riparian areas and wilderness.” There were countless other areas he wanted to open up to his corporate cronies. The national park system in the US, is by far the greatest in the world and makes the nation so unique. These are spectacular and precious, protected lands, that the orange one simply considered a nuisance. Has he ever even been to a national park? I doubt it. https://www.sltrib.com/news/environment/2018/08/15/feds-release-management/ -
Bangkok Police Seize One Million Baht Worth of Sex Toys
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
This is NOT an accomplishment. This is a surly, prurient, ridiculous, utterly dumb waste of "law enforcement". Such fake purity. Such inane misplacement of priorities. We are keeping you safe, by keeping these toys off the street! The RTP. Embarrassing the nation daily.- 29 replies

Trump re-election not just possible, but likely.
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I do tend to agree. He has accomplished quite a bit. Striking down Trumps environmental policies alone was huge. For God's sake, the monster wanted to sell off the national park system, to mining, timber and big oil! And Biden is a decent man, unlike the orange one. But, as a dem, I wish we had better alternatives and I do believe by not going with one, the dems have risked alot -
It is possible that at one point the army enjoyed a good reputation. Now? They are despised and disliked. Many consider them useless, and many think of them as a useless drain on society, resources and cash. What do they do for the nation? Coup after coup. Do they serve any function, besides sucking the blood of society?

Another coffee shop near my hotel bites the dust.
spidermike007 replied to steven100's topic in General Topics
There have been such a recent proliferation of coffee shops lately. So, which ones are going to survive? The ones who have pride in their product, serve a good hot cup of coffee, and do it with a pleasant attitude. Some have very cute gals, who serve a good cup with a smile. Makes you want to come back! Success of a small business like this is not rocket science. Everyone wants a pleasant transaction. -
Road Rage Incident Leads to Shooting, Leaving One Injured in Bangkok
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Spectacularly ignorant youths, demonstrating misplaced bravado. Guys with absolutely no self esteem, who cannot handle being called out for their recklessness. Totally failed lives. I recommend finding them, charging them with attempted murder, and charging their parents with extreme negligence.- 48 replies

Move Forward Scores Surprise Victory; Pita To Become PM
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No doubt stolen votes. The extent of the corruption of stench of these guys knows no bounds. Hopefully, Cha Cha will face serious charges soon, and either end up in prison or exile, after they track down his massive, stolen fortune. -
Trump re-election not just possible, but likely.
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It was likely an enormous miscalculation to allow Biden to run again. He is far too old, he is not a particularly good choice, he has not made a very good president, and youth is needed. Who could have run, I have no idea. But, not Joe. Not again. And not Trump. Please. The nation cannot afford 4 more years of that orange monster. America truly feels like it is moving backwards, and is a very, very broken nation. -
The most important part of this equation was 42 seats for Prawit and 37 for Cha Cha. It was a huge repudiation for the status quo. The people said no, I don't think so, you guys are dinosaurs, we don't want you, we don't like you you need to disappear off the face of the earth. Let us hope these greedy, toxic, moronic, backwards, incapable nitwits get the message, and back down. Now, they need to figure out a way to get rid of the corrupt, army appointed senators. ASAP. By whatever means necessary. The youth have prevailed. It is a glorious day in Thailand!

How often aircon filter need changing?
spidermike007 replied to giddyup's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Never. Most have a fine filter that is easy to access, and only needs to be rinsed with a shower head, or toilet spray gun. It should be done every 2 weeks, or else you are subjecting yourself to a higher level of particulate matter than you need to. Also, have an AC guy take the whole thing apart every 6 months for a deep cleaning, and have him check the freon. Basic maintenance. Your AC will thank you for it. -
What can be done to make Thai Roads safer?
spidermike007 replied to Scott's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I am not worried about the highway patrol actually patrolling the highways. I don't misbehave, nor am I an ignorant and reckless driver. Would love to see some of the absolute fools pulled over for the stupidity they exhibit daily, the trucks going 40kph, hogging the fast lanes, etc. It would be a step forward. -
No. It is due to the overall quality of life. If you are living off of foreign currency, you are likely living well here. Far better than you would back home. The people are kind, they have a wonderful humor and a lighthearted spirit (I just came back from the land of the heavy hearted and the forlorn, America) the weather is warmer, the food is great, the standard of living is high, the women are beautiful, and approachable, the police are not a nuisance. Need I go on? I could.

Thailand’s experiment with weed goes up in smoke
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The legalization of ganga may be the ONLY thing Anutin has ever gotten right, in his sorry political career. I don't like him. But, I think he was on the right track with this one. It is just getting with the times, and it represents progress, from the dinosaur clan. -
What can be done to make Thai Roads safer?
spidermike007 replied to Scott's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Easy solution. Are they patrolling the highways to find reckless drivers? No. Why? Because they do not care one iota about traffic safety. It is all lip service. The deaths mean nothing to them. The RTP are a blight on the nation. So are the highway patrol who absolutely refuse to patrol the highways.- 126 replies

Nobody knows how many people are killed annually, while taking a selfie. Crossing the roads, standing on the edge of a waterfall, etc. The risks young people are willing to take for their 6,700th selfie are ridiculous. I am getting to the point where I don't recognize this world anymore. People seem to be evolving backwards.

Thailand’s experiment with weed goes up in smoke
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Few have ever died of ganga poisoning, a bad liver from ganga, nor a car accident from being high. Yet, millions around the world continue to die from alcohol related deaths. Do any of these political parties care? Are any of them willing to fight the billionaire brewers? Again, nincompoops being on the wrong side of history.
