Trump 2.0 -- Exponentially more damaging than Trump 1.0
spidermike007 replied to Jingthing's topic in Political Soapbox
Nearly everything he has ever touched including the United States over the next four years. And let's not forget the casino bankruptcies, it takes a special kind of skill to go bankrupt with $3 billion dollars worth of debt after 12 months. -

Thaksin Delays Yingluck's Homecoming: Return to Thailand Uncertain
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Don't come right now wait a little bit, I think I have this about 95% under control but there just seem to be a few stubborn people who have a progressive nature, and they seem to want me to be punished, for what I don't know. So it's probably best if you wait a little bit until I have them all cowering and behaving like total sycophants. Remind you of anyone else across the vast sea? -
Trump 2.0 -- Exponentially more damaging than Trump 1.0

He is a very destructive and dangerous man. Many of us agree that the country needed change and it is quite obvious that the Democratic party was broken. The big question, is Trump the change that we needed? Is Trump the man that he says he is? Is Trump the man that his supporters think he is? Is Trump sincere about the well-being of the nation and its people? Will Trump put the well-being of the nation above himself? Will he destroy alliances and will he coddle dictators? Will he golf less than 150 times a year on the nation's dime? All that remains to be seen. Saint Donald. Total revisionist history, a complete reformation of his entire career, and a total erasure of his past crimes, moral terpitude, and a total and complete willingness to overlook a lifetime of moral bankruptcy. I do have some friends that will come right out and say the man is a butthead, a criminal, he's an idiot, and he's an absolute clown, but I like his policies. Those are the Republicans I admire. -
I can sort of understand him doing this. It is wierd, but the police in Pattaya have done little to earn any respect.

Do you ever reply in a way that's not contrarian and nasty? Ever? I am the farthest person in the world from being anti-Semitic, Unlike you, I'm Jewish, my family is Jewish, I have dozens of people in this world that are Jewish that I love and I'm very close to. I support the religion I just do not support extremist, genocidal Israeli policy, and as a Trump supporter you could never understand the distinction. You just don't have it within your intellect to make a distinction like that. This would be my last reply to you ever, it's like talking to a broken record, your replies are completely ridiculous and highly robotic.

Trump is neither rational nor honorable. Never has been. But, this is rich coming from a serial killing madman zealot.

Being anti Israeli is very different than being anti Semetic. That is a grossly overused term. Just like disagreeing with extremist Israeli policy is not anti Semetic. Thais love money, so these guys must have been misbehaving to be asked to leave, or turned away. Perhaps these young Israeli goons don't understand a simple concept called respect.

US Aid Freeze Linked to Refugee's Death at Thai Border
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
As a devoted follower you will not object when he gives his rich friends and their corporations trillions of dollars in tax breaks, but you find it offensive to give half a billion to the poorest of the poor. -

China does absolutely nothing beneficial for the world community. Zero. Same applies to Russia. -
A very sad reply. Deterrents are good. But, they have to be reasonable and proportional. Putting her in with the general prison population is just nasty and heartless. They must have significantly less harsh detention centers that would have been far more appropriate. More well deserved egg on the face of Thai tourism.

Body of Woman Found Stuffed in Suitcase in Rayong
spidermike007 replied to Georgealbert's topic in Eastern Thailand News
Basic common sense. Few women are killers. Men are far more violent. Across cultures and over time homicide offenders tend to be overwhelmingly male, with most studies showing that men perpetrate 82 to 95 percent of all homicides. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2712302/ -
I completely disagree, and I think the vast majority of the expat population here feels the same way. I do agree that the government dislikes us and I would argue that the government doesn't want us here, but I think the vast majority of the Thai people don't dislike us, or they're indifferent, but very few of them dislike us. It's a different story when you're in an area like Samui, Phuket or Pattaya, but that's not the general population of Thailand. Those are just folks that are very jaded, and have seen way too many foreigners, many of whom are misbehaving.

It is astonishing to me how many blazing idiots with ridiculous opinions have a million followers online, and a lot of people which they seem to influence. Things like this to me establish proof that society and civilization on earth is moving backwards and has been for at least two decades. We are no longer evolving as a species, we are devolving for certain.

Someday the youth of this country are going to stand up, take charge, say absolutely not on my watch, and take over power from the creeps, the goons, the army and the elite. Just watch, it's only a matter of time. The youth will eventually prevail here and at that time Thailand has an opportunity to move forward, rather than backwards, which is the direction they're moving in now.
