  1. It is a taxi meter. Why did you ask the price? Just get in and tell them where to go. If they ask for a flat fee, tell them you will report them. They soon change their attitude as you have all of their details on the booking slip.
  2. Is the fibre router in passthrough mode?
  3. 3bb has a mesh package. https://fiber.3bb.co.th/en/supermesh/
  4. I had a 1200bt delivery from Ebay and got a 100bt invoice taped to the box. Payment was made to the postman upon receipt.

    DHL

Has anybody used DHL in Thailand to send a document abroad? I see that everything can be arranged online. Then, do they turn up with a pre-addressed envelope and you put your document in it?
  6. The device is provided by the building management. I think it is configured as an access point. When working, the addresses for ethernet and wifi are the same, but not net connection when opening a browser on ethernet. If you manually change the dns address and save it the ethernet works for about 15 seconds. Note: the wifi connection works all of the while. It seems that the only way to fix this is to to a hard reset on the main server and router. Then 9/10 times the problem will resolve itself.
  7. The place where i live gets frequent power cuts. I have a router/access point in my room that is connected to the buildings main server and after the power goes off i sometimes cannot connect to the net though Ethernet because it is not getting auto dns sever allocation. It will say connected to the net but opening the browser shows a no dns error. However, i can connect and use the net on a WiFi connection. If i manually add the ipv4 address to the Ethernet connection in settings, it will work again. Is the router faulty or could it be an ip address conflict? Any ideas?
  8. There was a story last week claiming that Thailand has the highest rates of infidelity in the word and it got me thinking. Does your wife/partner have male friends and does she spend time alone with them? What are your thoughts on this issue?
  9. So they are going to surround Bangkok with a wall of jizz?
  10. The MRI and initial consultation was done here in Saudi Arabia through the company insurance. I had the result checked and confirmed while i was at home in Chachoengsao last month. I have 2 small de-lamination tears in the rotator muscles (no surgery needed) and inflamed bursa and thickened capsule. NSAIDS did not stop the pain and inflammation, so a cortisone shot was given. This, with physiotherapy helped a lot. However, 4 months later pain and stiffness returned and i was just given a second cortisone shot in the shoulder as well as a 10 day supply of Levofloxacin 500mg. Is a 10 day course overkill?
  11. I have just had a cortisone shot in the shoulder and the doctor said i have to take a course of antibiotics as a precaution. I would prefer not to take them. What do you think?
  12. You know it's close when army generals start denying it will happen.
  13. Wasn't there a convicted heroin dealer in the cabinet before? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-57001674
  14. I too, have been taxed.
  15. Post a picture of your open CB. Does it have a safety cut or RCBO's?
  16. My tubes are about 1 year old now, and it's correct that when they were new, they lost less air. You would have thought that somebody sells a 'premium inner-tube".
  17. Too slow. Your clothes will take too long to dry.
  18. My Scooter tyres constantly need inflating. Sometimes I can lose up to 10 psi a week. I use IRC tubes and changing them sorts the problem for a month or so, but the problem soon reoccurs. Are there any better-quality tubes available?
  19. Interesting, as teachers receive their work permits from the Ministry of Labour.
  20. Should be easy for the BIB to find the recipient of the transfer!
  21. I got one last month. It took 2 weeks from submission.
  22. To save them time and work.
  23. No. This will fail. Welded 1 inch in every 4 would be ideal in the areas to be driven over. Edit. Is that stainless? If so, not a great idea to weld dissimilar metals without the correct filler rod, which, i am sure they did not use.
