Countryside Town or Province EXTRA Quarantine?
marin replied to moon47's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
I hold permanent residency and have for quite a while. I am sorry about your friend but that in no way relates to me. As I said this is home, I have no fear, and am not the paranoid type like you. I wont go into anymore details but it seems to me you have never met a long term expat who married got ahead and made a nice life here. Which is a pity. Many of my close friends live here in the same situation I do and also feel quite comfortable. -
Countryside Town or Province EXTRA Quarantine?

Maybe that is true in your case. But for me its home 33 years here. Raised two kids who now choose to live and work outside Thailand. Do you understand this is home and we that choose to put in a few words here and there are well entitled to. Do you mind if I ask when you plan on continuing your travels? -
Same as Crossy, two AZ down, as has the wife.

“Big Bike” rider dies after crashing into a pickup truck in the Pattaya area

Pity Mr. "Cool Down", Jaiyen, was not and could not.. -
You have got to be kidding me!! Samidtiwej, Bangkok, and Bumrungrat hospitals are all international quality with a great supply of medical specialists in all fields. Yes you are going to pay, but you will get very good results. Patients fly from all over the world to be treated there. If you dont know sometimes the best thing to do is to simply keep your mouth shut..

For me yes you are alone. But no I would not and do not swim in the sea anywhere near Pattaya or Hua Hin. But starting with Koh Chang and down through all the southern islands I really enjoy it. I have taught my now grown kids to enjoy the beach, swim, body surf, surf, windsurf and scuba diving. Sure you have to be aware of rip tide flags, and jelly fish infestations but for me that's the case most anywhere. Perhaps my kids and I just love the sea too much. Cant wait to be able to get there again and have some fun.

JAL has economy seats of 2 seats on the side rather than 3 for the majority of their transpac flights. I like them for this reason.. Pretty much a tossup between the two in reality. Check the seating charts.

Nothing to do at your work place????

You are in management? Damn your level of written English is not even at a high school level. Add to that your lack of knowledge about Thai culture and customs. Just be happy they keep paying you. -
That number is your vaccination ID number. It should begin 60XXXXX That and your phone number is all that is needed along with the QR code.

Jacko, The problem with posting up academic studies is that they are all theories trying to be proved, not facts. Its easy to refute your posts. From the Chicago Tribune reporting on another clinical study. Patients with THC in their system are less likely to die from traumatic brain injury, not to mention less likely to die during hospitalization. It is also now believed that cannabinoids can stimulate protein enzymes in the areas of the brain associated with memory, planning, judgement, personality, balance and attention.

First you quote them and say how right they are. Now you are putting them down. One way or the other you have lost some cognitive function. Many do here in the LOS.

The American Journal of Psychiatry did not find anything, they published an academic article by one doctor. You should realize this, perhaps you have lost cognitive function by not indulging..

Prepare for a spike, public health expert says, but don’t panic
marin replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Seems to me we are going to be saying, "here we go again". Finally numbers trending downward in a real way, and we open up malls and restaurants to the unvaccinated. 10% of the populace has had 2 injections. Everybody is bored and restless but now is certainly not the time to open up like this. But I do need a haircut.- 145 replies

Unless you say where is here your attempt at prose is worthless mate. Here in Bangkok we have had rain and flooding the last few days. You bored by Covid restrictions by any chance?

Got my second AZ on Sat. the 28th of August.

Charlie, Phanom not Phathom, long way away.

Starting September 1st if you have a restaurant and want to open and serve in the restaurant your employees have to have two Covid injections. Seems straight forward and a step in the right direction to me. To go in and eat the customer must have two as well.

150 baht a month 5 baht a day for it to be advertisement free, one smart thing I have done...

I would reaccess my plans if I were you. As a tourist you will not be eligible for any vaccine. Covid is raging here and most of the country is locked down. Have a look at todays statistics.

As you know, a high quality AC made by Panasonic Is Panasonic paying you? After 30+ years here you are the first I have heard recommend Panasonic for air conditioning. Mistubishi, Carrier, or Daikin are the market leaders here and they are all I have ever used. We do own our house so dont have to worry about getting ripped off by a landlord. But I would not recommend Panasonic over the two leading brands. To each his own though.
