marin replied to wood78's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
So since you have been here you have opened another account? Simply the bank sees it as, if you transfer all your money out you have no account. You seem to be well off. Just balance your funds you have incurred no loss. -
Embattled deputy police chief claims PM has abused authority
marin replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Big joke is not and has never been clean. Cultivated an image in the media that helped him, hated in both the police and immigration for a variety of reasons. -
Selling a House Privately not using an agent.. In Chiang Mai.
marin replied to 33 RPM's topic in Chiang Mai
First off that seems quite cheap to me with the land area being 8 Rai. Guess I have been in BKK too long as it seems just the land should be worth that. What is the house like? Bedrooms, baths, furnishings? -

British man arrested for begging to buy drugs in Koh Pha Ngan
marin replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
Is that so? How did this fool get pressured into taking drugs in Thailand, and how should the British government help him? Silly. -
Unable to see 5ghz wifi on Redmi Note 9
marin replied to scubascuba3's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Is the Note 9 5g compatible? My Note 13 connects easily and shows both 2.4 and 5g. Good luck, I got conflicting answers googling. -
This is a bit off topic. But the National Aviation Museum of the Thai Air Force is just north of Don Muang Airport and is open to the public, free as well. I have enjoyed it many times. When the kids were little and still lived here they loved it. Perhaps if its open the Navy would be the same. https://www.museumthcailand.com/en/museum/National-Aviation-Museum-of-The-Royal-Thai-AirForce

Pita vows Move Forward will return stronger after charter court verdict
marin replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
They did turn out giving MF a huge majority and Pita was set to be PM. But he was stopped by the junta appointed senate. They turned out big time and were robbed by military supported dinosaurs. Remember dinosaurs went extinct. They will again in this aging society. -

marin replied to Lodestone's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Good post. I just looked it up, it seems great, but Laos observes Songkran as well and it says the embassy and the evisa wont be working until the 18th. -

If you have to make the call phone number to phone number you may want to try 00500 + country code and number. I know to the USA its much cheaper Oz is more like 6B a minute.

You take the filters out to clean them. At least on any that I have owned over the last 35 years.

Chinese influencer’s food poisoning sparks Thai food hygiene row
marin replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Eating raw seafood in an outdoor market with temperatures of 30 for a low and 40+ for a high for over 3 weeks. Not the smartest thing in the world to do. Tells more of the influencers intellect than getting food poisoning. I wonder if he knows 2+2=4. -
The juristic girl said I’m not allowed to clean my house!
marin replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
^ To me the bottom line is call out bob on the tall tales he spins. Especially if he adds Thai characters that dont exist to his stories. You of course are entitled to your opinion as am I. Bob lives on a remote fringe of Thai society and in reality has little to no idea what is really going on. -
The juristic girl said I’m not allowed to clean my house!
marin replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
That is exactly why I post as I do. Glad you enjoy, but I for one hate lies and liars. I simply dont see his posting as tales or stories, but as knocking Thailand BS. -
The juristic girl said I’m not allowed to clean my house!
marin replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
bob you obviously dont live in a gated muban as just last week you were complaining about a bum peeing on your gate. So why would a simple townhouse down a soi have a juristic person? I think your neighbor who does like like you is playing with your head. Nah you are simply making this up as you do 99% of the stuff you post.- 111 replies

The juristic girl said I’m not allowed to clean my house!
marin replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
bob, you wake up each day with a new "tall tale" that is more outrageous than the one before. You have not been travelling you have been posting on here non stop since your return from your short flounce. What a bunch of BS this one is though. Anyone who has lived here for any length of time at all will know what part of your body you are talking out of.- 111 replies
