  1. No dont wear it you will be in great danger. Also dont wear any brand name clothes or running shoes. Right now people are having Nike, Adidas, and Hoka shoes ripped off their feet by shoe muggers. The most dangerous areas are Sukhumvit soi's 1-101 and the Silom area near a street called Patpong. I am not sure its even safe to travel to Bangkok. Just one heck of a crime wave going on now.
  2. And here we have the species know as right wing nutter.
  3. You are a funny newbie.
  4. Wow our newer members are having a get together... Troll party time.
  5. To give you an opportunity to increase your post count.
  6. Bob a Loo you dont have a clue. Reading the thread this morning you have been outed by a number of posters who live here happy healthy and in most cases wealthy.
  7. Good for you Susan. Did you use the restroom or buy a cold drink?
  8. What does they should remain neutral mean?
  9. News flash for you bob. It may give you in insight as to why life is not easy for you here. The majority of Thai's have nothing to do with the tourist trade, nothing at all.
  10. Didnt you post this some topic on Tuesday?
  11. You have got to be kidding me. 30 years ago that topic was laughable now its just plain silly. Our new thread starters are really something else. Its like AN has taken the biggest backward step it could possibly take.
  12. You have that completely backwards. Its rarely available in the south.
  13. When are you going to start a thread on how to use a "bum gun"? You have already asked a lot of questions that are answered on a daily basis.
  14. Nope the original is in Klong Toey Bangkok, the newer campus is up in Prathum Thani, and it has the international college.
  15. They have an international program
  16. You were not detained. You chose low budget accommodation you did not like. Rather than move you stayed and did a lot of complaining. Which you are still doing.
  17. I would guess that you would then turn off some of the air con units and open a few windows to let in the cool air and the problem would be solved?
  18. One is a city in the north of Thailand at an elevation of 310 meters, the other is on the eastern seaboard and is at sea level. The winters are cool in the north, but temperatures remain warm on the eastern seaboard. One has a pollution problem from early March until the rains start. But you must have know this.
  19. In your case I dont believe much. You will soon see neither do others.
  20. Seems you have a very small apartment you like to keep very cool with no outside ventilation at all. I have lived here 35 years and never experienced this. In fact I have never heard of this occurring here.
  21. Could not agree more. Just back from a 2500 mile road trip all over California and Southern Oregon. Bliss indeed, here its just concentrate and pray. Not easy to just pull over and have a look at sites either. Yet I still enjoy getting out in the car and exploring here.
  22. Generally the hottest part of the day here is 2-430pm. On a day where rain is coming. I am not going to get into it with you. Judging by your posts of the last few weeks you know everything, and spend all day letting people know that.
