Hooters have lovely women to say hello to ????
-
-
To be fair, I normally have breakfast after 12pm lol
-
Oh no, one person out of all the billions in the World...even Aids killing movie stars in the 80's didn't get this much attention
-
No, it's planning a month out is it worth jumping through all the hoops to come to Pattaya at all...of course I'll do whatever once I get there
-
If all these bars are open now I might as well come earlier after all. In fact if 5 star bar on the beach and Bodega bar are open on 2nd road that's not much different to my pre-covid routine ????
-
So Irish Rovers, Beer Hubb, Hooters and Hopf. That should keep me busy for awhile ????
-
I normally do the same, but it's been 26 months away lol Plus I don't want to go somewhere only to find it closed...so planning a schedule first day, at least I know what survived
-
I don't want to go off topic but the fear in your post made me quote something. "Has anyone died of Omicron variant? No, as it currently stands no-one has died as a result of the Omicron variant." So not a single person in the entire World has died of, or even with the Omicron varient....why so scared? https://www.goodto.com/wellbeing/health/symptoms-omicron-variant-anyone-died-639120

My friend works at Beer Hub, so I see that'll be open Did the Hopf, or Hopbrauhouse on soi 13 and beach road survive? Did Hooters? Edit: I was coming 22 Dec but just cancelled due nothing open, I'm trying to get myself excited that 16 Jan will be better lol
-
So it looks like a walk to Hungry hippo for lunch, hopefully seeing something open on LK Metro on the way ????
-
My flight arrives on 15th, stay the night at airport hotel and then hit Pattaya on morning of 16th, the supposed re-opening day. So far I know Irish Rovers is open for my usual breaky and a couple of beer starters. Where to head after that for my first day of Pattaya booze and fun for 26 months ???? Edit: hopefully not 7-11 lol

10% increase in international flights from Nov to Dec
aussiexpat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"It is expected that the rising number of international flights has been increasing because of the higher demand for travel during the high season" Made my year that Thailand thinks there is a high season lol -
Required Onward Flight
aussiexpat replied to aussiexpat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Wow, A$912 Sydney to Bangkok return in the middle of a pandemic and over Xmas/NYE (just reschedule return as required). Singapore Airlines pricing gives hope....or it's no-one is coming ???? Edit: is this also a way to only require 2 weeks covid insurance, and then extend return indefinitely as wanted? -
Required Onward Flight
aussiexpat replied to aussiexpat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That's what I said ???? Nah, OP changed to 'onward' -
I've seen many posts saying to buy a throw away flight to satisfy the onward flight requirement. Myself, I was going to book a one-way fare and only buy a throw away if insisted on at the airport. Well, I just went to book the one-way fare on Singapore Airlines only to find the return leg was free. It also has free change of date and is valid for a year. (There were other flights with better connection for only $155 for the return leg to Australia, still cheaper than a throw away) Worth checking instead of buying a useless ticket

Senior Thai officials to get taxpayer funded iPhones
aussiexpat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Okay, everyone that replies to this thread bashing Thailand is showing there Bogan poor ass ways. All companies give the latest phone to their employees, to think 111 of Thai government shouldn't get one just shows how low you are on the phone list lol -
Senior Thai officials to get taxpayer funded iPhones
aussiexpat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This whole thread is just bash Thailand. ASEAN should lock it. Headline news a country gives 111 iPhone to their top officials, why wouldn't they? Ridiculous reply to something so normal in the rest if the world. -
TAT has posted an update of the rules from 16 Dec https://www.tatnews.org/2021/11/thailand-eases-entry-rules-from-16-december-2021/ "The current 1-night waiting period in a hotel and a confirmed payment (for 1-night stay at SHA++ hotel, 1 RT-PCR test, and pre-arranged airport transfer) will no longer be required. On arrival testing will be changed to an ATK method." Still not clear as to how the ATK will work
