    or hungry. A few folk get injured here where they still do elephant trekking. The tourist buys a bunch of bananas, offers the elephant one and puts the rest behind their back. The elephant is not a dumb animal. It swipes the tourist with its trunk to knock the bunch of bananas out of their hand. The tourist invariably is injured.

    I love my shark. Modular - full face, just visor or totally open. Depends on the weather/traffic.

    Not many condo's here. I only know of one. (Replay) Definitely come and stay for a while and have a good look around. Do not only look at Chewang, Lamai and Fisherman's village. They are the expensive areas with lots of tourists. Flights can be expensive in high season, but if you live here, you can apply for a Resident's card from Bangkok Airways. Bolt and InDrive are here but Grab is more popular.

    Khaosodenglish states that they have kissed and made up. Both the driver and the Saudi were fined 500 baht. (The driver started it.)

    Wow, thank you for that honour. My friends will fall over and pisstheirpants laughing when I tell them that one. Did you actually read the whole post or just jump up in indignation after the first line? Where does it state that I agreed with the guests? I just said that I could understand their upset. Personally, I never use taxis or riding apps in Phuket. Not that I go there very often.

    So, the driver asked for 570 baht for the journey. Guest does not argue. The guests were short of Thai money and offered 200 baht + some foreign currency. Driver said no. Guest said, please take us to currency exchange and we will change it for you. Driver says OK - does not mention that the guests have to pay to go and change his money. Hmm I can understand why the guests are feeling a tad upset about this one.

    And the point of all of this is......? What? All senior politicians are rich. Some more than others. Poor people do not get elected, or if they do, the rich ones find a way to get them de-listed.

    Sorry, I have no idea re rabbits but.... One cafe in Fisherman's has capybaras. Maybe ask them if they have had to use a vet here? Not the same I know, but a lot less common in Thailand than rabbits. https://www.capybaracoffeethailand.com/ There is another one at Big Buddha apparently Oops - the link may be the Big Buddha one. Did you also try the vet next to Foxtrot at Bangrak?

    The old folk's allowance here is 600 baht per month - if he qualifies. He was probably doing whatever he can in order to get some cash.

    Happens more often than people think. Friends took the new baby to the pub when they went for a meal. Baby was in a carry cot fast asleep. Friends finished the meal and went home. Pub called them to ask if they were coming back for the baby.
