Think yourself lucky you get anything at all.
As a Kiwi living in Thailand my entitle, ment is NOTHING
I would need to return & live for 2 years to even be considered
Somewhat unfair to tar us all with the same brush. Many paid into private pensions knowing the state handout would not be an amount to live off. I cannot believe you didn't know what would happen to your pension having decided to leave NZ. That as they say, was your choice.

It only goes back down if you tell the DWP you have left the U.K.
Don't ever think they don't know, and it much easier for them now.

As for 2., i was told that you get the full payment when in the UK, but if you leave it goes back down again ...... they don't miss a trick.
Not sure on this, but I believe if can prove you intend to stay for more than twelve months it will remain at the higher rate. Although as you say, they don't miss much.

Good luck with it.
I never understand why and how the UK people put up with it.
Just a terrible system screwing over pensioners. What ever happened to all the money?
The UK has the worst state pension in the developed world- in 2016 it was only worth 29% of average income. It is striking how much less that is than other countries: the EU average is 70.5% meaning that UK pensions receive more than two times less than comparable countries
It ain't known as Rip Off Britain for nothing!

All this chaos from the top down, reminds me of the Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy and the Keystone Cops. They were funny, but this lot are a complete shambles.
I could be more descriptive, but its not allowed.

There's one teeny-weeny little issue there. The size of the vaccine stocks ????
You forgot to include, the money is not available to purchase vaccines.

Not just ordering but receiving. Time to put the Thailand AZ vaccine facility under military control and ensuring no vaccines leave the country.
Advocating total failier then?

Vaccines cannot be ordered in large quantities, as they are still paying for the useless submarines and all the other military junk bought from their china friends.
Not wishing to put a downer on things, but how long have you got?

There is very little a thief can steal after their hands are cut off. However, the second hand industry is thriving in the L.O.S.

"He said the main measures, which can help contain the outbreak, are to reduce mobility, reduce travel and reduce the risk of getting infected in workplaces. Other measures include not eating at food outlets".
Such great insight and forethought of this man, its astounding!
When does the cherry get put on the cake and mass vaccination begin?

How about comparing UK, America or your home countries figures before saying how poorly Thailand is handling things?
Please name ONE thing they have done right from day one. Up to now almost everything has been a disaster. Due to things being quite reasonable in the early months, complacency set in and the government hoped the virus would go away. Then after finding more cases in Samut Sakhon it was dealt with haphazardly and surprise, it spread. On and On it goes, one cock-up after another. Do I need to go on?

IF, the government ever get around to vaccinating all of the people, including foreigners, between now and October, maybe they will have the good fortunes they hope for. As the flocks of pigs gather for their regular flights, they have a navigational problem. All the pie in the sky promises made over the past 7 years.

That's not true , The Thai government has reserves of about 251784.34 USD Million and the ability to borrow.
And tourism , though significant, comprises only 21% of GDP as of 2019
Sounds like a serious case of Dianne Abbott!

My number has 13 digits not counting - spacers.
Just for info
Why would you register with Thai SS number when the information is directed to UK nationals? Do you not have a UK passport?

Just one more question, does anyone know if partners/wives or boyfriends/husbands, or in my case a Thai girlfriend can also be signed up & paid for ? If anyone gets any info can you post here please, thanks.
My wife over 50 and my son over thirty have both been signed up for the Moderna jab. Whether we get them or not is in the lap of the gods,

Moderna at private hospitals: It'll cost 3,400 baht for two jabs, can pay from Thursday
Have the hospitals been told yet ? I don't wanna turn up and be greeted with a blank stare. ????????
A blank stare would be better then scowl. A blank stare could open possibilities, with a cowl, what chance do you have?

The Thai 'government' were very complacent last March 2020. They thought the virus had passed them by. No need to order Vaccines, the numbers here are so low it's not worth it.
Then along came the BIG bite in the ass, supported by lack of organisation or competence. Plus the name calling and derogatory comments by a minister who should know better, but never will. We have since had the world and his wife leaving Bangkok, spreading the Covid country wide and now we have the workers in BKK leaving in droves. IDIOTS STUDYING TO BE MORONS, and they are likely to first class degrees.
