  1. The post I replied to was referring to immigrants newly arriving. Those who are, apparently, creating problems with housing. Those on visas. They cannot claim benefits, as per visa rules. They also cannot be on minimum wage, unless they are working in excess of 50 hours a week to meet salary requirements for their visa. The salary requirements for visas also pushes them above the threshold for qualification for benefits. You mention being here for 10 years or more. They are not the issue. They also still cannot claim benefits unless they have been through the 5 year visa process and have applied for and been given UK citizenship.
  2. Could have been IVF.
  3. Uneducated and uninformed comments here, as expected.
  4. I can't "desist from" doing something I haven't done.
  5. You've ended up up your own a@÷e because of your inability to accept making an error. Classic Chomper. 😅😅
  6. If you didn't mean only young people, you wouldn't have written it. Another great Chubby Checker impersonation from you. "So who is as it that said... "? And you talk about others alleged misuse of English. 🤣🤣🤣
  7. You did. "What they won’t r doing is leveraging their own wealth to buy properties in competition with young people then make profit be renting to the same young people they’ve priced out of the market."
  8. I know I don't know what peoplevwill do. You said it so I asked you. Now you say you don't know. Why will only young people be affected?
  9. Not at all. I'm asking questions. If you can't answer, just say so.
  10. How do you know they won't? Building contractors often invest in properties. Why will only young people be affected?
  11. It's a shame the UK abolished the death penalty. There are plenty of a$#holes in UK prisons that are most certainly guilty of terrible crimes. Executing those would free up much needed prison accommodation. They could start with Levi Bellfield and Colin Pitchfork. Then Ian Huntley and Steven Wright.
  12. So, who is going to buy the affordable homes you want built in order to stop buy to let landlords profiting from those on housing benefit?
  13. Immigrants who are renting homes in UK come to the UK , in the most part, to work. They don't get handouts.
  14. Will the builders of these affordable houses not profit? I can't see any construction company agreeing to build at a loss.
  15. Blackhole? Is that the one that is yet to be proved?
  16. Was religion mentioned in the article? I can't see any mention of any religion.
  17. If they've borrowed the car, they've had permission. What's wrong with that?
  18. 3m wall? Totally unnecessary.
  19. I agree with your second sentence. I live in a village. I get on well with my in laws, all 50 or so of them, and the neighbours. My wife set the house rules with regards to people walking in, with input from me. The garden gate is always open. Visitors wait prior to entering the house. It's great. I love my surroundings.
  20. Living in a self built prison. Not my idea of fun. Each and to their own.
  21. These kinds of posts always make me laugh. I'm guessing the OP lives with a Thai partner. Instead of running off to his computer to whinge to prople that can fo nothing, why not speak to his Thai partner? It's quite simple.
  22. They are not an agency. There are there to accept applications and pass them on to the relevant visa processing department.
  23. It's not unusual, maybe not all 20b notes but certainly huge bundles of notes and bags of coins.
  24. What about the Mom and Pop shop owners who shop at Makro using their takings to pay a 20000B bill in 20b notes?
  25. I guess you'd use troll tokens. You could collect them when people cross your bridge.
