  1. It does. The article speaks about asylum seekers. The comment I quoted doesn't.
  2. The requirements aren't imaginary then. Right? There is a difference between the requiremrnts for a Btitish national and a refugee. Right?
  3. £65k in savings. The amount you said was imaginary. What is it? Imaginary or a requirement?
  4. You clearly have no clue with regards to UKVI rules. The figure of £65k in savings is true, if BritManToo wishes to take his Thai wife to live in UK. She will also need to pass an English test and, to gain residency, she'll need to take the absurd Life in UK Test. None of which applies to refugees and their families.
  5. More bull from you in an attempt to stir the pot. Tou surely could spend your spare time on something more constructive.
  6. You cropped my comment for effect. Classic. 😅😅😅
  7. As am I. I've spent many hours in hospital recently. Your ideas about Doctors and tattoos are wide of the mark. I also know many people with tattoos. Many university educated. Working good jobs. Nice houses. Successful in life. Fortunately for them, not all employers have the same discriminatory view that you have.
  8. Really? How will the interview know I have tattoos? Will they ask me?
  9. Really? You've asked them? Doctors and Lawyers dress to the ankles and wrists. Shirts up yo the neck. How do you know the vast majority don't have tattoos?
  10. That's just won the award of funniest post of the day. Well done.
  11. Really? I was at hospital recently. You'd be very surprised. I find it hard to believe anyone would chose their accountant, lawyer or doctor based on tattoos. I would think basing them on competence, experience and knowledge would be the norm. Do you really think sailors and soldiers are lower class? It's a strange view.
  12. Not at all. You are confusing woke with dislike of discrimination based on race, religion and faith. The lowest of low.
  13. Visable or not would depend on how the people are dresses. If, as you commented, the OP is living in a certain area, the dress code would be different to that of a gated community. Were the residents of your gated community, or members of your Thai family, to go to the beach and dress with less clothing and revealing more of their body, it may well turn out they do have tattoos.
  14. Where did you have your sarcasm bypass?
  15. Good try. A passport application story as a veiled racist rant. 555
  16. You don't see it in the west? 55555 You've either not been to a western country for a long time or you visited with your eyes shut. Degenerate? I know a lot of people that would like to have a word with you about that. I suggest you continue to hide behind your keyboard.
  17. Simple answer, go on your own. Why did you need your wife to hold your hand?
  18. Dentists have always been private. They've never been NHS employees. Some are paid to treat NHS patients. Kids can often get NHS treatment but not adults. There are dental care schemes, patsble monthly, that can cut down costs.
  19. I went to the dentist in Thailand last month. A full check up, an x-ray and an extraction was 750 baht. The same treatment and procedure in UK would have been over £300 (13000 baht).
  20. The OP lives here. He has done for many years. He's an English teacher.
