Testosterone Replacement Therapy: Where in Bangkok?
Jaggg88 replied to ricklev's topic in Health and Medicine
The most important test is for your prostate because if you have undiagnosed prostate cancer then increasing testosterone can make it worse. They used to think high testosterone levels caused prostate cancer but more recent studies have proven that to be wrong. A total testosterone test is useless so you must go for a free testosterone test instead. In Europe, they do a bio-available test which is also useful. The majority of testosterone in your blood is attached to proteins so the body cannot use it, which is why the total testosterone levels are not a good guide. I hope you report back on your experience as this is an area of men's health that has been neglected due to the false fear of prostate cancer. Good luck. -
Teen Narrowly Escapes Alleged 'Honor Killing' by Parents Outside School
Jaggg88 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You are correct, it is not a teaching in the Quran but it only exists now among Muslim communities because Islam is the only main religion that does not allow outside marriage or relationships. Therefore, it is not a cultural action but an act caused directly by the edicts of Islam. Many religions and communities practised honour killings centuries ago but it seems only the Muslim communities are perpetuating it in the 21st century. -
Why do so many Thai prostitutes marry their customers?
Jaggg88 replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Sin sods are only paid if the bride is a virgin. If she comes from a wealthy family and is a good catch then maybe a dowry could be asked for but if she has been married before or has children then a sin sod is not going to happen. -
Thailand Overhauls Auto Tax to Boost Electric Vehicle Adoption
Jaggg88 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I think you will find you are wrong. Cobalt is a primary component of most EV batteries. Lithium A key component of EV batteries. New technologies are being developed to extract lithium more sustainably. Cobalt A primary component of lithium-ion batteries, which are commonly used in EVs. However, cobalt extraction can be damaging to the environment and linked to socio-economic issues. Nickel Used in the cathodes, or negatively charged parts, of EV batteries. Nickel is ideal for higher-power batteries. Manganese An essential metal for manufacturing EV batteries. Graphite An essential ingredient in EV battery anodes, which are terminals inside a rechargeable cell. Battery makers can use natural graphite or synthetic material, which is more expensive but lasts longer. Lithium iron phosphate A material that's gaining traction as the EV battery material of choice as the auto industry works to produce more affordable electric vehicles -
There isn't a new tax law but an amendment to the existing rules. It says if you are a tax resident and bring onshore untaxed foreign earnings, then it will be subject to tax regardless of the tax year it was earned. Before this amendment, if you earned the money in previous tax years it was deemed tax-free. If the money you bring onshore has been assessed for tax elsewhere and that country has a double taxation agreement then you do not have a tax liability in Thailand. Now if the Thai tax office decides to audit you because you asked a question about tax evasion on this site then they would not be able to audit your Wise account as it is a UK-based financial company (not a bank) and is outside of their jurisdiction. So that transaction or a swift transfer from your home country bank directly to the hospital will be invisible to a tax audit.

In 2008 Germany and France vetoed the USA's bid for Ukraine to join NATO. They did this to take advantage of lucrative commercial deals with Russia. They have, not surprisingly, now changed their view and Germany has ramped up its defence spending Russia started with Crimea and the lack of any significant action from the West emboldened Putin to invade Ukraine.

It is the official rule but it depends on your check-in agent. IATA supplies the information to the airlines, which is displayed on the screen when you check-in. I've been asked by Emirates, Qatar, Etihad, Gulf Air (from UK) and Air Asia (from Australia), but I'm often not asked. You can negate any worries by purchasing an onward ticket online before you travel for just $14. It is a genuine ticket and is valid for 48 hours so purchase just before you fly or if they ask for one and you don't have one then step out of the line and purchase one. Easy peasy

Most events go unrecorded so your quote of 0.15% is unrealistic. RFK Jr. wrote in his post, “Five states — Texas, Utah, Kansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana — suing Pfizer for knowing and concealing the vaccine causing myocarditis, pericarditis, failed pregnancies and deaths. That’s 10% of US states.”

Pericarditis is quite hard to diagnose. As Cheryl says the standard treatment is Naproxen and colchicine. The cause can be viral or bacterial; it is also a common side effect of mRNA vaccines which can also cause Myocarditis
