to screw into? What do you mean by that isn't the pipe supposed to be delivered with the o2 censor you're not trying to tell me that we can use the old o2 sensor from the original pipe?
I am sorry I am not sure what your talking about.
I have a hunch you may be confusing a catalytic converter with an O2 sensor

Answer my questions, if you can.
Waiting......................
I did
That it is unacceptable to you is not my problem.
Really I do not want to do the what if dance with you.
To summarize
I do not freely give up my rights regardless of how harmless you claim doing so to be.
as to your other post about B Franklin & the world today

Seeing those numbers has quite a sobering effect.
Sadly those that profit from those numbers are too drunk
with $$$ to ever allow change
-
Nevermind the paranoia. What are the extant data???
So basically your stance on our Constitutional Rights & Bill Of Rights is no harm no foul?
Yet your same question turned on itself would be
How has the good citizens of America being told they have a Peeping Tom/ Employee in their midst
harmed National Security?
I have no problem with the NSA wanting something. Except when it is our rights.
If they need those sorry they will not be given freely by me.
If they pass a law or amend the Constitution or Bill Of Rights
So be it. That is how America rolls....or did

Tell me if I'm wrong. those cheap pipes that are not top branded that sells here in Thailand don't have a o2 censor on them.
If you mean the threaded hole somewhere in the header assembly for the sensor to screw into...Yes,
Some do not have them
Which is why some folks Like Pekky's sells headers that have been drilled & a threaded piece added
Like the one I post below they sell for 4000 baht
But, If you look at better headers with the hole they have also bulged that area I believe
to make up for the lack of strength at that point in the pipe the hole created.
The Devil like I had you can see is bulged where they put the hole
Not much stress there so probably all right either way but just something I noticed.

" Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both."
Benjamin Franklin
Someone will be along shortly to tell you what a different world this is & why we do not need such
things & how even the Constitution & Bill Of Rights is dated for another time.
Yet none will move to legally change it.
Easier to use the pen of fear

don't worry, they say you can trust them. I mean, what could go wrong?
You know it is surreal & sad at the same time.
I wince when I think that a long time ago, so many Americans gave their lives
to create & uphold freedoms that are today freely given up.

It still shows an evident pattern of deception meant to shield the truth from ever being known. Both Congress and the citizenry should be outraged by that. Why are you focusing on Snowden and not these other bastards? Why isn't anyone calling for their heads?
It seems a Patriot is redefined these days
Originally, a patriot was someone who loves their country and supports it, but won't blindly follow whatever their country's government does.
These days, it is synonymous with Nationalist, which is someone who blindly follows whatever his country's government does, and lacks his own ability to think and reason for himself.
I have only ever heard about the exposure of the NSA Prism program.
I also find it ironic that they chose the name prism for their project.
But it is sad to me that millions are now targeted to lose their privacy for no apparent reason
with this blanket called National security & more sad that so many cheer it onwards.
What happened to innocent with rights until proven guilty? Or at least suspected?
Are we all suspects now?
If this is all based & justified by the so called war on terror then we have already completely lost
the plot & I fear are at risk of all becoming useful idiots

Yes, from you, no idea.
Ok Henny

What views?Tim Geithner is not in office. What are you on about?
So when he left office his "views" were all erased?
Could be a handy feature for these types
No idea as I do not listen to idiots when possible.
But I was speaking to your usual one liner type flame response to LinertyNinja in which you
tried to imply Geithner never had any since he was no longer in office.
-
Tim Geithner is not in office. What are you on about?
It could well dip further, but it is well oversold. No Joke I am making serious money and trying to help the poor who belive gold shall come back in 10 years
Just remeber in 2 years when it will be under 850 who told you
Check the post what I said from 1500 to the high
But to say it won't recover for 10 years means you have pretty strong faith in central banks and sovereign debt levels.
Any particular pro- trader who's views you follow?
(Please don't say Tim Geithner
)
So when he left office his "views" were all erased?
Could be a handy feature for these types

Gold shall come back in 10 years? No Joke I am making serious money and trying to help the poor who belive gold shall come back in 10 years
Just remeber in 2 years when it will be under 850 who told you
If gold does not show a profit at the end of this year it will be the first in 10 years that
it did not. So it may be acceptable. But we have half a year to go. Not that it matters
Will try to remember to check your prediction in 2 years
But you may also be joining the famous VegasVic seer of future gold prices
from the first few pages of this thread in that department.
Predictions are like that 50/50

Who is paying for him to go gallivanting all over the globe and stay in 5 star hotels? I am not convinced that he is not being financially compensated by foreign governments for what he is doing. For one thing, his timing at releasing the information benefited both Russia and China in talks with the president. What he is doing is hurting his own country.
I may be naive but there could be other countries that are willing to help
those they feel are doing a good thing. I know what you say is also possible but
I do not get that feeling from what has been released.
As to hurting his own country.
I guess it depends on what the definition of "his country" is.
Is it defending any & all acts committed by the government or
defending the rights of the people who elected the current government to represent them?
I note there are many definitions of a Patriot
One funny one is from Mark Twain that sadly I think describes many citizens these days.
"Patriot: The person who can holler the loudest without knowing what he is hollering about" [Mark Twain]
another which i do agree with is
A person who regards himself or herself as a defender, esp. of individual rights, against presumed interference by the federal government.
Regardless of any work around paper named the Patriot Act that those that seek to infringe use as a shield

I wasn't sure before, but NOW I kind of think Snowden is a ... traitor.
Not so much for the leaks. For what he is doing now. Understandable from a personal self interest point of view but he has made himself a public figure. He is allowing himself to be used as a anti-American propaganda tool by unfriendly countries. Doesn't that fit the definition of traitor?
I do not see him as a traitor.
A traitor would have sold or tried to use this info to better his life quietly not openly offer it
free to the US citizens & others who have been wrongfully targeted.
As to being used by anti American propaganda unfriendly countries?
That is an interesting term in many ways because
1- If the info leaked is true it is not what I consider propaganda
2- If these acts were not committed there would be no blow-back
3- A country that would expose such illegal acts is Anti-American? Or Pro-Americans?
4- Where would he go if not these places? Tahiti & then release the info in the hope of stopping
injustice against American citizens & others? Do you think this info would have been released if given in a
US obedient spot?
No I don't think a US citizen that has exposed such injustices & basically forfeited his free life
is a traitor. He has not gained only loss in an attempt to show fellow citizens what is being done
by their employees behind their backs.

By the way, thinking of doing mugen stickers in my bike. Know a good car sticker shop. Of course i will not place mugen writing on it. Just the black stickers. Also will keep the part on lower side of the side fairing thinner not that wide. Dont want to cover that nice curve on the lower side. What do you say guys?
I always liked the classic Honda red/black scheme
But if I were doing it I would show the guy at the wrap shop pictures of the classic scheme
like Joey Dunlop use to have at IOM & John McGuiness used this year in tribute
to him.
Mugen of course has their own interpretation of it & cannot copy exact...but you can

That Blue Kraft is the Alias No Limits guy
I was impressed when I saw the Alias & this looks ok too quality wise.
But I am not a fan of the blue metal look myself.
The only thing is I do not understand why he is switching
or starting another brand & both promise the 500 header "later"
Could be nothing but good to be aware of

I have been here a decade and have never heard of this - yes, I have a DL and a Car and register it every year.
You mean you never heard about the notary services at the US Consulate?
I have used them 3 or 4 times.
Only because it is easy & quick + sure thing & the certificate is non expiring.
The one from Immigration has to be used by a certain time.
Which usually should not be a problem but last year I was reserving a new Ninja
& did not know when the finalized date would be that I needed it.
But I think most like you just use the immigration & also it is quite a bit cheaper
One third the price if you pay Imm 500 baht
-
I've never much liked the look of those black screens.
Yeah they work on a few bikes but mostly I want function 1st
The only thing that may be consider a benefit on smoked screens is they shield the gauges a bit
& may make they easier to read on the rare occasion that the sun is striking them just right thru the screen.
-
Sorry slow response as I was up country with no internet.
LL...I had to look Lakh up as I have never heard it or been to India
I agree with most here that it is a tough call in many ways.
Mainly the tax for being a larger bike would bite & I do not see
how they could keep the price under the Honda 500 now
Unless it is a direct replacement deal but I dont see how & it would piss off current owners
of the 250 as they would see resale value drop
I have been noticing many parts houses now selling top ends for the 300
but it would cost 30k baht & I am not sure if I added in the crank on that or if it is even needed.
Have not looked at the exact way they increased the stroke 7.8mm
I do believe cases etc are all the same & the slipper clutch is not a have to have
But that may be an option for folks at some point to mod their 250's if they were inclined that way
I think the main chatter now on the Thai websites is based in folks wondering if they should buy or wait now.
I did write Kawasaki Thailand in December 2012 asking if & when they would release a 300 here
At the time they told me no less than 2 year model 2013-2014 but of course that does not mean anything
-
Lots of chatter on the Thai ninja sites claiming for 2014 Ninja 300 will be sold here.
But it was also said in April it will be released in India for 2014 at a price of 4 lakh
which I believe is 400k rupees or equal to 210,000 baht.
Do bikes in India usually sell for less or more than Thailand?
http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/kawasaki-ninja-300-launch-in-india-on-april-10/1/260882.html
I'm not sure how they could sell at that price here as it is getting too close to
bigger bikes prices.
We Will See

its on a closed course.
if you pass the lollipop of death they usually just pass you without having to go further if you do it good enough.
Not easy, you have to ride the rear brake and clutch doing the loop, and if you think your going to lay it over you have to speed up to keep it up.
Would be funny to do a hidden camera prank & send someone like this.

US Consulate always does but yes you need an appointment for everything there now
But it is easy & done online.
Usually for the next day & they send you a confirmation email immediately
Appointment info
http://chiangmai.usconsulate.gov/service/appointments.html
Service is listed under their Notary services
http://chiangmai.usconsulate.gov/service/notarial.htmlAffidavit for Vehicle Issues ("Residence Verification").
To get a driver’s license, buy a vehicle, sell a vehicle,
or register a vehicle, the Thai Department of Land Transportation
might ask you get a document from us to “verify” your residence in Thailand.
In fact, we are not empowered to do this.
Instead, you may execute an affidavit in which you swear under oath or affirm your monthly local address.
Use the Affidavit for Vehicle Issues (PDF, 35.0 KB). Fill in all of the blanks above the signature line, but do not sign it. -
Would a joint account do that way if I kicked off first the wife would have access to it.

All I know is the O2 sensor is part of your harness not a part of any pipe.
That many pipes in Thailand may not have the bung/ threaded hole for it could be because carburated bikes did not have an O2 sensor
as far as I know
