  2. I have a left over battary (good working order) of a Acer laptop ( model 5.....something) on the battery it type says AS07B31.

I know it can be a bitch to find a new battery so in anyone can use this one, you're welcome to it. I'm in Rawai.

  3. I think she is more clever than we give her credit for. All of us who have seen her perform in and around Rawai know that she dresses (usually) like a killer and she also knows very well how to use the ladies toolbox (make up). So way would she go on National TV dressed like she did and with no make up ??

I think she is playing the public with her "poor girl act" and she is doing a hell of a job. I bet next time she'll be in full "glory".

She wants to make it big ( as she deserves in my opinion) and she is making sure the hype will continue.

  4. if no official party is planned by say the end of this month, i may host an unofficial TV party in my house in rawai. my house is almost finished and should definitely be ready in July. the house is big enough to host a party of 50 people or so.

    I'll be there !

  5. Why yes! I'm sure you'll find no problem attracting old neverbeens just itching to grab their moth eaten Les Paul copies and get some chum able to hit a stretched cowhide with a stick or two, together with someone playing along with themselves, alone, on an all singing all dancing 'keyboard', whose collection in music stopped around 1980 and deems everything else 'rubbish'.

Good luck with that blink.png .

You're always in such a foul mood or is the bad weather affecting you ?

Why did you bother posting this? Have I hit a nerve?smile.png 'Bubblegum'. Hey! Wasn't that a 'music' genre?laugh.png

Excuse me... you are asking me ?? why I post. The OP ask for info and all you give is a cynical remark.

To the OP, I mainly love blues and acid Jazz, along with Soul, R & B ( before they called Beyonce R & B ) and underground stuf. Ah also, Nick Drake and (heaveier) Black Keys, White Stripes...and ohhhh too much.

Joe Cocker, yes Joe and Zappa, Tom Waits, Roxy Music, Bowie, and Kyteman ( look this up on Youtube)

  6. Wahahahaha, my wife showed me the act and I told her that there is a girl in Rawai who sings the same song but much better..... I did not recognize Gig on TV rolleyes.gif

But she is selling a good, sad story to the Thai people: very poor, can't speak English, learn the song from Youtube and it took me a month.

I have seen her perform many, many times and it was obvious she would "make it" eventually.

    Good luck Gig ! clap2.gif

  8. According to the poll most votes go to Chalong / Rawai so why say Patong. Its like the bloody Dutch Government having a vote on joining the Euro, people vote massive NO and look where we are.

I'm not saying you are the Dutch Government of cause, I would not want to insult anyone like that :-)

Anyway I won't be coming to Patong ( would not even like to be found dead in that place)

Have fun all of you and behave.............

  9. Due to some recent posts by members, I would now like to propose an alternate venue for the Phuket Thaivisa Party - The Bangla Boxing Stadium in Patong. smile.pngsmile.pngsmile.pngsmile.png

  10. At the corner of Viset and Sai Yuan is Phuket Pesonal Services, step in there, they can get you quotes from a number of different insurance companies.

In the other thread, a well known poster here who has gone by a number of nics claims as "fact", you are always going to be cheated by these companies. I can tell you after 3 years of paying 40K a year for my plan, I ended up having some surgery that cost close to 200K (THB). Not sure if said poster can do math but that debunks his "fact".

You should have insurance here, it's not expensive and for sure worth it. ThaiVisa actually has some pretty good insurance used them before my current.

Is this personal service opposit the 7-11 ?? at the traffic lights?

  11. As is normal in the Phuket forum, people start bitching at eaht other.

Please don't post if your only contribution to this forum is just that NAG, NAG, NAG. !

As for me, Rawai or Chalong, anywhere further away is for me impossible to attend, and no kids please, just members. Tnx

  12. I use KPP internet and TV. total cost 850-- p/m

Internet 7 MB and mostly it is actually 7 MB.

TV sucks big time. Looked at the digi TV but did not bother to take it. extra channels are mostly Thai and Russian ??

  13. I hope to get some real info because I'm hurting like hell. I'm sure it's another hernia ( most likely) in my neck.

I have seen in the general health and body forum discussions bout prices but that was not in Phuket. Since I cannot move from Phuket, health wise I need only info on Phuket.

I know International and Bangkok hospital are good but very expensive, how about mission and the other ( Vising or somethink like that) ?

Please post no BS because like I said I hurt and I have had very bad expierence before ( hospital infection, causing diablility).

    Tnx

  14. I listened to the whole thing. Very talented musicians. Something that is getting harder to find these days (no offence to Justin Bieber, the chic who cut all her hair off, and any of the other no talent bubblegum clowns out there).

I don’t know sh*t about progressive rock, but I swear I detected a little Boston, Queen, and Ted Nugent in there.

    Enjoyed it. Thanks

Leave me out of it will you laugh.png

  15. I was wondering were the police was during all this. Went to vieuw point, Rawai beach and the hills between Rawai-Nai Harn but did not see any police directing traffic or whatever they should be doing at times like this. Maybe they were writing tickets at Chalong circle ? Lots of traffic there .
