  1. There is this older lady who walks around the bars in Pattaya with a load of white make-up slapped on her face.

Some of you must have seen her. I know there is many girls who fit the description but this one stands out a mile. She is kinda weird.

If this is the smallish Thai lady that wanders around aimlessly caked in white powder on her face, the story goes she was once normal until she was brutally attacked her farang boyfriend many years ago .... i havent got a clue if this is true maybe its just Chinese whispers amongst the drunkards of Pattaya.

Newcastle have received at least three bids for the club which meet owner Mike Ashley's £100million asking price.

Ashley put the club back on the market shortly after they slipped out of the Premier League at the end of last season.

Managing director Derek Llambias has confirmed that several parties are continuing to hold talks as hopes of a swift deal grow.

He said: "There have been more than two bids at £100million.

"At the moment, we are in the hands of lawyers and it is all ongoing.

"We are giving interested parties all the help that they need."

    Consortium

The identities of the bidders remain under wraps with all having signed non-disclosure agreements before being granted access to the club's books.

Llambias is understood to have shown a Malaysian consortium around St James' Park and the club's training ground last week, while the Singapore-based Profitable Group and former chairman Freddy Shepherd are known to have held discussions with Seymour Pierce, the investment bank handling the sale.

However, amid suggestions that there have been offers at lower prices - the Malaysians were said to have bid £80million, but agreed to take on an overdraft of up to £40million - Llambias is adamant that £100million remains the figure prospective buyers need to meet.

The Magpies were put up for sale days after Ashley and Llambias held talks with Alan Shearer over the manager's job, and that vacancy is still to be filled.

Shearer is keen to take on the role, but it is caretaker boss Chris Hughton who is currently putting the players through their paces at a pre-season training camp in Ireland as talks behind the scenes continue

  3. It has to be a Irish guy called Declan who can be found in bars around Phnom Penh.

When he speaks he fires an imaginary gun at you and all he seems to talk about are the people he has killed during one struggle or another in Phnom Penh 15 years ago.

Absolute fcuken nutcase but the police showed him respect and everyone in the bar and around town seemed absolutely petrified of him, from what i gather he is infamous in this City and there is some truth in what he says about being some kind of mercenary for one side of Cambodian politics.

  4. 'suffered enough'? 'good luck to him'? you're far too kind jared. i hope he breaks his leg on his united debut and then the ambulance taking him to hospital crashes.

Christmas joy and goodwill to all men seems to have come early for you StevieH.

  5. That told Beckham!

    Who is Landon Dovanon ??

I bet Beckham's in a right fluster now that he's opened his mouth..

Myabe have a pop when you've lifted Premier Leagues, FA Cups, Champions League Trophy's, La Liga Titles & Played for argubly the 3 biggest Clubs in the World etc etc etc, come back & say something then but until then, you crack on with the MLS Landon, there's a good Lad..

    Jasons Brother???

I'll give Beckham his due he's always tried his hardest of that there is no doubt, but he has taken the p7ss out of his club with the Milan fiasco ....

Thing i didnt like about Beckham was he played for England in World Cups when he wasnt fit to the detriment of the team, and Sven fancied him and built a team around him letting him run around on the pitch wherever he wanted when he was by far the best player, again to the detriment of the team.

  6. Sorry writing this late my minds half asleep.

It should read ..... The maximum amount of time you are allowed in the UK is 90 days per year for the first 5 years, but i think if you planning on becoming a tax exile, the best thing is not to come back at all unless its for something important ... I think a 2/3 week holiday once a year would be ok, and wouldnt raise suspicion ....

Once youve done the 5 years out the country then i think youre laughing and there wont be any more checking up.

  7. Ive spoken to the Inland Revenue today regarding becoming a tax exile, and the ruling is you must be in the UK for 90 days per year for the first 5 years, should you go over this on year 5 you'd have to pay back all the taxes from previous years.

They count these days from how many midnights you are in the country, but if you come home for medical, educational or serious family issues such as marriage/birth/death these days dont count, the way i took it was dont bother coming back unless it is for one of the above reasons.

It is possible to form a UK ltd. company and employ yourself and to do it this way, but i now have to speak to a different department to get info on owning a limited company whilst being a tax exile, and what tax the company would have to pay.

  8. now, if you or anyone else has ever seen the greats like sasha and digweed, these guys don't just mix, they actually add in effects, add in extra tracks, use filters, etc. listen to two tracks being mixed by these guys and go home and try to do it, you'll never be able to make it sound the same. this is why trance djs suck, they have no skill.

So you like decent rave music from the early 90s ....... I used to have a Sasha cassette where he was on 3 decks many moons ago, yes there is the odd one that puts a bit of effort in but on the whole a good night out raving is more to do with whether you got good or bad pills, then what DJ is playing so long as its the kind of music you like.

Go on youtube there is a guy called OldSkoolChoonz he has what must be the finest collection of rave music from the early 90s. Here is a little sample for you.

  9. All these different names for rave music ...... back when i was a wee raver it was either called good rave music or sh7t rave music ..... whats now known as jungle and drum n bass comes under sh7te rave music IMHO.

DnB is still pretty big in the uk from what i've heard...trance is the most popular now because it basically sold out. all the djs are very arrogant and think they are god's gift, so their production qualities have gone down too, trance is basically pop music, the gateway to all other electronic music.

I kind of know what they all are by their descriptions.

As for famous DJ's being up their ass, thats pretty much always been the same for all DJ's.

Thing is when i was a young raver, the only way i'd know it was a famous DJ at the club i'd frequent most often was the prices were higher and it was full of people so you couldnt move.

I was always of the opinion to have a good night out raving depended on how good the ecstacy was as opposed to what fool was playing someone elses records .... they all pretty much mix the records in the same place and build it up the same.
