  1. Trump’s Jan. 6 Pardons Slammed as a 'Grotesque Display' of Power by Schiff From the guy who received a preemptive pardon from Biden. Yeah - tell us all about "a 'Grotesque Display' of Power."
  2. "The 'America First' economic policy directed by President Trump will focus on, most importantly, re-shoring supply chains out of China and back to the US, followed by near-shoring and friend-shoring. Trump is also set to unleash tariffs on foreign goods as the US-China decoupling gathers pace. Focusing on friend-shoring trends, Goldman's Allen Chang, Verena Jeng, and others hosted the "Make in Thailand Tour" last week. During the visit to AI server liquid cooling, automotive electronics, electric vehicles, and other high-tech factories in the Southeast Asian country, Chang found a growing number of US companies are requiring suppliers to have not only Chinese factories but also a "plus one" location outside the world's second-largest economy for diversification purposes. This has only sparked a boom in business activity in Thailand." --Major US Firms Demand Suppliers Embrace "China + 1" Factory Strategy, Zerohedge Definitions Re-shoring: The process of bringing back manufacturing or other business processes to the company's home country from overseas, typically where they were previously offshored for cost advantages. Near-shoring: Relocating business processes or manufacturing to a nearby country, usually within the same region to reduce logistics costs, improve communication due to similar time zones, and sometimes to leverage cultural or economic similarities. Friend-shoring: Moving business operations to countries that are considered geopolitical allies or friends, typically to mitigate risks associated with geopolitical tensions or trade wars. This strategy focuses on stability, trust, and shared values rather than just proximity or cost. https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/major-us-firms-demand-suppliers-embrace-china-1-factory-strategy
  3. I've seen Thai police talk other Thai people down who were wielding knives or machetes and threatening to kill people and do it without any violence at all.
  4. Day One Done. Have you kids on the Left completely melted down yet. It's just getting fun. Security clearance revocations, J6 pardons, government worker firings, border walls... https://x.com/LiveWireCable/status/1881423804637040849
  5. We can definitely agree on that. Kudos Now let's get back to Women's Sports being for biological women.
  6. Just arrived huh. Yep - some do.
  7. The EU technocrats are desperate now as they now call anyone to the right of themselves "Far Right-Wing Extremists" as they then talk about overturning elections and banning political parties of their opponents because they claim they are "Far Right-Wing Extremists." The real extremists are those seeking to overturn elections and ban political parties in order to "Save Democracy." It's very obvious that the status quo are the true danger to Democracy.
  8. Nah. I don't want to see anyone censored. I want to know what everyone is thinking. I in many cases will not agree, but it's good to hear the Ops.
  9. It's actually rather pitiful and pathetic.
  10. According to the Left everyone on the right are Nazis ushering in the Fourth Reich. According to the Right everyone on the left are Marxists ushering in a new age of Communism. Those who expound either view are a small minority, each whom actually are more interested in spewing hatred and inciting social discord. Ok Op. Nazism is back. Let me dust off my best The 6th Sense impression: "I see Nazis. They're everywhere. Most of them don't even know they are Nazis!" Now enough of the nonsense. Back to reality. Most on the right are not Nazis (except those who claim to be Nazis), and most on the left are not Commies (except those who claim to be Commies).
  11. In my humble opinion, the "ceasefire" may last two week and then Israel will be dropping bombs of the last remaining structures that still exist in Gaza. Then the "war" takes on a distinct "Stalingrad during WWII" flavor as Hamas fights the IDF from the rubble.
  12. Well it seems that those handed preemptive pardons can not "plead the Fifth" (self-incrimination) so expect the DOJ and Senate to bring these people in for questioning in order to clear the air. Ok - so you have a pardon, now you can come 100% clean, but lie? Prison. We'll see. https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2025/01/20/despite_biden_pardon_fauci_still_faces_legal_perils_here_they_are_1085875.html
  13. So says the man who has accepted his preemptive pardon:
  14. Ya'll worry about this too much. If you don't make the 24 hour cutoff it's a small fine. No big deal.
  15. You and I don't always agree, but I'm with you 100% on this!
  16. The quintessential definition of psychotic: Thai government yesterday - "Gambling is a blight on Thai society and all gambling dens should be found and the people running them throw in prison!!!" Thai government today - "Gambling casinos are good for Thailand and Thai society!"
  17. Anyone wearing gold bling-bling in public deserves to lose it. With the price of gold now, I'm surprised that more people wearing gold aren't just murdered in board daylight.
  18. By the way, if "preemptive pardons" are allowed to stand legally, then every president from here on out will use them. The only difference? If a Republican president uses them the media will scream bloody murder. If a Democrat president uses them the media will call it "sound judgement." The blatant hypocrisy of the Left is simply over the freaking top. I seriously hope the courts strike this abominable use of "preemptive pardons" down forever. No president should be allowed to use them. Pardons for convicted criminals? That's within the scope of the Constitution.
  19. You hit the nail squarely on the head.
  20. A World Redefined: The Global Rise of the Right As translated by the progressive liberal left1: "The world is about to be controlled by "Far-Right Extremists." As translated by the conservative right: "By will of the majority who are tired of the policies of the progression liberal left, the social pendulum is swinging back toward conservatism." Up next (as in Romania): "We must overturn elections and ban parties where "Far-Right Extremists2" are running for office, or worse, are elected to office by the majority in order to "Save Our Democracy!" "How do you plan on accomplishing that?" "We'll claim Russian interference and overturn the elections. It works every time!" 1Progressive liberal left defined: "Far-Left Extremists." 2Far-Right Extremists defined: "Anyone to the right of the progressive liberal left."
  21. "A pardon carries an imputation of guilt; acceptance, a confession of it." Burdick v. United States, 236 U.S. 79 (1915)
  22. And equally as good, he's pardoning pro-lifers thrown into prison by the Biden regime.
  23. My guess is that preemptive pardons will see their day in court on the grounds that they are not what the author's of the US Constitution had in mind. Pardoning people who have not been convicted of a crime? I don't see how that flies legally, but I do expect to see those preemptive pardons contested right up to the SCOTUS by USAG Pam Bondi. BTW, Biden expressly stated that he would never issue preemptive pardons when Trump was exiting office in 2021 and the media was floating the notion that he would use preemptive pardons. In the meanwhile - assume that everyone who was granted a preemptive pardon is guilty of a crime. It is a tacit admission of criminal acts and guilt. If it was me and I had not committed a crime, I'd be screaming to get the pardon revoked as the preemptive pardons are an implicit testament of crimes committed as well as guilt.
