Trainee Officer's Drunken Gun Mishap Claims Two Lives in Chiang Mai
connda replied to snoop1130's topic in Chiang Mai News
Yep - Check, clear; hand it to the other person in the room. Repeat - Check, clear. Then - assume it's still loaded. Want to aim a gun at someone? Use a prop gun and wooden gun. Real guns were only pointed down-range in all the gun training I took. Anyone without gun training shouldn't have a gun. I assume this guy had training. Didn't pay attention in class. -

Outrage in Germany as Elon Musk Accused of Election Meddling
connda replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I fully expect Germany to pull a Romania and overturn the elections through the courts if AfD wins. They'll call it "Protecting Democracy." Overturning the democratically elected AfD will probably destabilize Germany socially and the EU as a whole. The EU is on it's way out the door along with Germany and France and other so-called "liberal democracies" which aren't democracies at all any longer. The people want the governments to change and the governments want to hold on to power anyway they can - that's totalitarianism. -
Oh yeah. Buy a bloster and sleep with it between your legs. It helps to align your pelvis when you sleep on your side. My wife gave me one like when we first got together. Been using it for a whole lot of years.

Go get an xray to ensure you don't have any major disc issues. If not, time and anti-inflammatory pain meds. Most people experience transient back issues during their lives. Me personally? Tylenol for pain and diclofenac for inflammation. Ice. Rest. Time. But that's just me. Talk to a doctor. Once you're healed again, then make stretching a part of your exercise routine. Or yoga.

Marriage Equality Act: Nationwide Implementation from January 23rd
connda replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
How funny. The UK is up there with the rest of the West championing 🏳️🌈 LGBT+ rights, but as soon one of their citizens wishes to legally get married to their gay partner in Thailand? The UK Government -> 🇬🇧: "Piss off 🌈 !!!!!!" You can't make this stuff up. You do know that no Western government actually give a flying flip about LGBT+ rights. -

Bank of Thailand Boosts Mobile Security with New Transfer Limits

It's back to cash is king. They have just made the nonsense about PromptPay and digital banking a moot point by literally shooting themselves in the foot. So much for the "convenience" of eCommerce when they set limits to what you can pay for electronically. So, do it the old fashion way. Hoof it to the bank and withdraw the money and make your purchases in cash. -
Putin is losing the war for sure now. The Ukrainians are pushing the Ruskies back to Moscow with their tails between their legs. Ukraine is on the verge of winning the war for sure now! 🇺🇦

Marriage Equality Act: Nationwide Implementation from January 23rd
connda replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I want to see the first foreign man married to a Thai man register their marriage, claim the Thai man to be the "husband" and the foreign man the "wife" in the marriage, and demand the same considerations as foreign women who are married to a Thai men. For you gay expats out there - here's your chance. No more proving financial requirements, and after three years of marriage you can apply for Thai citizenship, just like the foreign wives of Thai men. Whose gonna be the first one up to give it a shot?- 43 replies

Biden’s Presidency he'll “leave office in disgrace.” by CNN Commentator

Yep. Carter was a good person. Biden? Joe Biden only cares about Joe Biden. He very well may go down in history as the worst president in US history. If not the worst, then in the basement of US presidential legacies. -

This one will work TP-Link-UB500. ฿239 There is "cheap" and there is really "cheap." When really cheap doesn't work, quality is the issue. A CSR 4.0 is like ฿49. You got what you paid for. Shell out $7 bucks and get one that is both cheap inexpensive and of known quality. A TP-Link device is going to work if your system supports the drivers. https://shopee.co.th/⚡️กรุงเทพฯด่วน1ชั่วโมง⚡️-TP-LINK-UB500-BLUETOOTH-5.0-NANO-USB-ADAPTER-รับประกันตลอดการใช้งาน-i.53549820.12754936550?sp_atk=5d890234-8cf8-4518-8176-d3fd9b791fd5&xptdk=5d890234-8cf8-4518-8176-d3fd9b791fd5

Mint 20.x doesn't natively support the drivers necessary to use the dongle and trying to install the necessary drivers is a PITA. Speaking from experience. LM 22 works just dandy. Upgrade on you're gold.
