  1. As you know, heavy ride weight and a good ET is the problem over 440 yards. 12 seconds is a great time in a heavy ride. I know, I came from 14's to 11's in a dinosaur. thumbsup.gif

Pretty common for a 1000hp Supra to run high 12's at 180mph.

    Not sure about your figures.

Yeah my bad. it is an "in" joke with my friends that own big HP supra's that run a crap et but huge MPH. i

  2. Expect imported bikes will have a 300% duty unless this company sets up shop to manufacture the bikes here and the parts will be very hard to procure..import tax..hold ups on delivery..possible lost parts....now if that is what you want sure go ahead and sink 3x the amount you will pay for local bikes.... I prefer the local products... recently added a Honda Forza..great bike, handles like my PCX but one needs practice away from traffic here in Pattaya. i dislike the noise and the "oh I need attention" in riding a chopper, a loud bike does create bad Karma in that it like a barking dog at your feet...oh it won't bite just the noise is enough to dis-like such an event.

I know maybe I am on the wrong side of street bikes..choppers... and will await some kind of reply on my silence while driving by you!

Why would it be 300% duty when even the customs website says on a bike the is a total 77% ?

The 77% aligns with the price of the New Yamaha bolt that will be selling soon and also the suggested price for the 2014 Yamaha SR400 that will be sold as well.

  3. OK guys, terrorism or fatal technical problem BUT where is this aircraft ???

If it was dived to the shore could be found already the signal of emergency radio-marker.

If it was crashed to the water must to be many parts on the surface with kerosine.

If it was burst in the air also must to be many many parts in a huge place.

    So, where is it?

RIP for passengers and crew they are dead already. Hope they got very quick die.

Debris are scattered in a huge area. They have already found some of them.

Apparently, the plane blew off in the air.

For which reason ? A bomb or a mechanical problem ?

These will be the next answers.

When/where did they find some debris ?

  4. Just read that 2 ONE-WAY tickets in the named of the stolen passports were issues by a travel agency in Pattaya.

yes it was on channel news asia yesterday - two consecutive ticket numbers also. So why have the Malaysian Authorities not yet published the photos of these passport holders yet??!!

Why has THAIVISA not yet zoned in on this news - like contact the travel agency or wherever the tickets were bought, in Pattaya - that is what any good news agency would do !!

being travel agency I suspect they were batched together not necessarily purchased together.

  5. The installed traffic lights do work and should be turned on 24/7. The police boxes at the intersections house the Police and the only time they come out is when there is an accident or nothing is moving in any direction.

Give it a go, turn the lights on and see what happens, it can't be any worse than what it is now.

The lights should be turned back on and the police do their job and ensure that when they turn red the morons don't queue across the intersection.

The traffic is now that bad I have reverted to using suk road for my work commute as it is quicker.

Are you guys out of your mind! On the few occasions when they tried using them, traffic backed up for kilometers in all directions. The only way traffic moves at all is when their off and we all play smerge at the intersections.

that is because they were not policed and the traffic queued across the intersection.

  6. Never mind that signs clearly state heavy vehicles are prohibited. Neither drivers nor traffic police seem to care.

Thais ignoring traffic rules and signs ? That would be a first.

    \

I use those roads on a daily base, and they are much faster as Sukhumvit to go from one side of Pattaya to the other, main reason because the installed traffic lights aren't functional.

Of course that is until the me first morons start blocking the cross sections.

  7. Being a bloke, I might be wrong, but I don't think Thais use tampons, just the pads.

Iam also a bloke but at the canteen at my work they also sell some assorted variety stuff (toilet paper/Soap/Hair shampoo/Vagina cleaning stuff etc etc) as well and amongst all that is tampons so I can only assume some Thai's do use them.

  8. Yeah I stopped using that UOB atm due to moving from Naklua to the Darkside. defo not a chance would I expose myself to that nightmarish traffic for the sake of visiting that machine.

To add though I have just gone back through my ATM slips and it seems I only ever withdrew 30k at a time so I guess the 40k figure can be attributed to too many beers over too many years.

  9. why change a design that every one has seemed to copy.. heheh

Yeah the new Ranger/D-Max/Colorado/BT-50 sure do share an uncanny resemblance to a vigo........ NOT.

The new Ford on the road is very similar to the eye to a Toyota. Why do you think that is ?

    Easy really.

    Yes very easy.

You need to clean your glasses.

  10. Just don't mention the traffic. Or the poverty. Or ever-increasing population pressures on the existing infrastructure. Or the bureaucracy. Or endemic corruption.

Other than those little bumps in the road, I can see absolutely nothing wrong with the this plan wink.png

Those "little bumps" are just as prevelent here in Thailand.

But no 25 year visa for spouses...

Oh...and in regard to traffic...Thailand is the second most deadly place to drive in the world. Notwithstanding the horrific traffic in places such as Jakarta, it is still safer to drive in Indonesian cities than in Thai cities. Why? There are very few Thai men driving on Indonesian roads. And...muslim men don't usually drive their pick up like a racing car when sh_t drunk.

You keep harping on about this so called 25 yr spouse visa but for the life of me I cannot find a reference to it anywhere.

Or are you talking about the permanent resident visa which is valid for 5 years and it may be extended every 5 years up to a maximum of 5 times ?

What do you do after your 5th extension...leave the country ?

Nice that Thailand is not backwards like this and they do not cap the amount of extensions you can have.

  11. I started a new shed project yesterday. A new work bench.

    006_zpse3c80129.jpg.

Go buy some more wood today for the top, shelf and back splash and she will be ready for some stain.

Slow progress I guess but now has a 30mm MDF top with 3mm steel for me to bash my stuff on.
