  1. I keep specific directions to a few places written in a clipboard app. When I use Bolt, I simply access the Chat facility and paste in the directions for my location at the time. Been working great, no problems since I started doing that. Recommended.
  2. Yes. Watch that first, then possibly the Netflix version as well.
  3. When BOTH parties on the Committee unanimously agreed?๐Ÿคฃ You've been given the valid reasons above. Move on.
  4. Trump tends to speak in hyperboles; occasionally he even misstates a fact. He's been around a while, so by now your panties shouldn't be getting into a wad over this aspect of his charm. That was a real bullet, a real wound, and a near-assassination, however. But for luck (or God, or "the thing," Biden might say), an incredible, historic, tragedy would have occurred that day. Worry more about the outright lies fake news and leftists are telling you and you believe. In her very first campaign speech, for example, Kamala lied that Trump wants to "ban" abortion. He's denied that several times. Far as he's concerned, the SCOTUS settled the matter, left it up to the States. "Ban" isn't in the Republican Party platform, which he helped write and he approved. She knows that.
  5. The event shows the most egregious, amateurish failures on multiple levels. At this stage of the game, what with all the professionals available, the technology, and the lessons of the past, the event was easily preventable. She has NO excuse. She was moved into position by Jill Biden and lacked both competence and experience for the position. Thereafter, a major concern was to hire more women. Her explanations about "multiple layers" of this and that left nobody accountable and in control for the overall operation plan. She wouldn't answer even the simplest questions she should have already known the answers to, nine days out. Though admitting it was about the largest failure ever of the SS, she didn't appear at the press conference or bother visiting the site herself. She's too incompetent and self-interested to run an objective investigation. And, as AOC pointed out, it didn't need 60 days to complete. The entire bipartisan Committee voted for her resignation. She's that bad. She said she took responsibility for the failure. OK, start with the resignation. Let's have competence, not DEI.
  6. You've missed the point, according to (truly) fake news: Secret Service Director Resigns In Disgrace For Failing To Assassinate Trump At publishing time, the DHS announced they were looking for a new director with experience in handling ricin and cyanide.
  7. A definitive and active shaving forum devoted to the subject. Finding many of them in Thailand will be impossible, however. TRUEFITT & HILL has few shops in BKK stocked with their well-regarded products. I quite like the scent of Trafalgar, and so does my Thai gf. Our Brits, of course, all owe to themselves and the motherland to drop in for a haircut & shave anyway. https://truefittandhillthailand.com/
  8. Over-the-counter in the old days. Good stuff, miss having it around.
  9. Naive, overly simplified generality. On Nato in particular, that idiot BIDEN provided critical motivation for Putin to invade: Bidenโ€™s approach ignored Putinโ€™s fear of Ukraine moving closer to the West and joining NATO. Although Biden and his senior officials never explicitly called for Ukraine to join NATO, they dangled NATO membership before Ukraine and repeatedly said this decision was up to Ukraine. Biden further confused the situation by stating several times in 2021 that the United States and NATO would stand behind Ukraineโ€™s โ€œsovereignty and territorial integrity,โ€ statements that sounded like Biden offered Ukraine security guarantees. In addition, during a June 2021 NATO Summit, NATO reaffirmed the commitment made at the 2008 NATO Bucharest Summit that Ukraine would one day become a member. --America First, Russia, & Ukraine And much more, if you read the article. Trump's tough stance towards Russia was in fact a big deterrence, as you can read about in the above article. No invasion when he was prez. Biden, however, undid a lot, cozied up to Ukraine (Hunter Biden and his 10% for "the big guy"), blabbed about NATO, and displayed contemptible weakness. Nothing's free. Ukraine's losing, as I predicted from the beginning, and will continue to do so w/o direct USA/NATO involvement. NOW Russia's got cozy alliances with China, Iran, and NK. India's OK on the side of the BRICS. Nobody's interested in a wider war. Germany's just slashed military aid to Ukraine. WOT??? And most in the USA are tired of endless wars. Trump's tough but not a war monger. So though Trump would have prevented the war in the first place, now there'll have to be a price paid for peace. Biden/Blinken can't negotiate their way out of a paper bag, and, beholden to the military-industrial complex, will simply demagogue to their base and try to expand the conflict right into WW3. Trump will probably make the best deal possible under the circumstances using a combo of stick and carrot.
  10. Masochistic. These bigoted, misogynistic idiots will degrade, argue, and bicker endlessly. No defense ever succeeds; no mind is ever changed. She'd post on Thai media confirming all the negative stereotypes Thais hold against farang. Maybe call for raising visa and extension requirements, deport and blacklist many more. Try to persuade Thai authorities to read the forum and start investigations against members for defamation. We did have a fake Thai woman on here some years ago. In her case, since not real, our simps all fawned over her and voted her POTY.
  11. And now this: Windows 11 strikes again with annoying pop-up that canโ€™t be disabled . . . Windows users are being notified that their systems arenโ€™t backed up with the built-in Windows backup solution. . . . Sure, you can click the notification and dismiss it for a timeโ€ฆ but it will show up again soon enough. . . . Itโ€™s obvious that Microsoft is pushing users to OneDrive by the fact that this cloud backup notification about supposedly necessary backups canโ€™t be disabled. The only way to make it go away is to use it. --https://www.pcworld.com/article/2405664/windows-11-disturbs-with-new-pop-up-that-cannot-be-switched-off.html
  12. Some of them, including those in quite good shape, are bored by banal old topics asserting stereotypical "differences" that lead nowhere and really won't help the individual poster.
  13. I'm running MX Linux on an old Dell laptop and really like it. Runs great, no drama.
  14. Oh, same attraction as women have for men in your home country. Each woman has her own reasons for being attracted to a particular guy. "Millions" aren't attracted to foreign men in general. To Tom Cruise, yes. Fat-bellied, beer-swilling old expat mongers, no. Yawn.
  15. Made it all up. Of course we fell for it, 'cause we wanted to.
  16. It isn't a matter of "proved right." That is your own projection. It's a matter of putting things into a larger perspective. In such a perspective, maybe your post isn't that funny. The topic comes up now and then when bigoted Brits want to engage in a little bash. They'll never, ever forget, and bring up when they can, that a Chinese family let their little kid shiit beside a tree outside Central Mall in Pattaya. Maybe that little kid had an emergency and getting back into the mall and then up to the toilet on the 2nd floor was just going to take too much time. Who knows? So the topic had already been "researched."
  17. Ah. It happens I don't need to do anything for those purposes, but if you do, then more power to you. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have quite a few things I merely enjoy doing, none of which are relevant or meaningful to you, except that you might find doing your own retirement extension meaningful. I don't call it meaningful, just a preference. Perhaps going to the gym is meaningful, in that it may mean the likelihood is decreased of seeing docs and taking meds as often in the future. Good 'nuff?
  18. But you've shifted the goalpost, as is common around here. Meaningful is the qualifier. Quite subjective.
  19. I found I never got tired of doing nothing meaningful. It's all I'd hoped it'd be. ๐Ÿ™‚
  20. I can't imagine you'd have any problems becoming accustomed to Win 11. It's already pre-installed, so might as well go with it. I run Win 10 because I've had it installed and civilized for many years. It's tweaked, tuned, configured, debloated, firewalled, beautified, and runs just great. I keep up with the news, but see nothing I need from Win 11. And I don't want to waste time whipping it into the kind of shape I'd like. I also dual boot Linux.
  21. Beaches in the Islamic Republic are already full of shiit. Itโ€™s been two years since the UKโ€™s poop-engulfed beaches became a national scandal. Now itโ€™s even worse
  22. Schiff's DEFINITE proof of Russian collusion first, please.
  23. Laughable. He was forced out in a banana republic-like "democratic" coup by the righteous defenders of "democracy." Staff drafted a letter and he (probably) signed it. ๐Ÿ™‚
