  1. So one says, at a particular moment. "Conservative" doesn't mean "MAGA type." That's a merely liberal attempt at demonization. Others say, apolitical. Kind of a kid who doesn't know who he is, needs to establish an identity. So he did. Here're some more threatening MAGA kids for you: Took down the Hamas flag and put back the American flag. WOT??? MAGA! UNC student who defended American flag says ‘unwashed Marxist horde’ could only have it over his ‘dead body’ Total contrast to the dweeb pictured above.
  2. Nah, you've merely leapt to a biased conclusion to fit the false liberal narrative. Looks more like a typical liberal dweeb. If he'd had any friends or substance, he'd have camped out with the pro-Hamas women on a uni quad. Few friends, shy loner, apolitical, bullied, couldn't play sports, couldn't make the rifle team, would hang with anyone'd who'd tolerate him--at some point. Rather the opposite of a MAGA kid, fits more of a potentially deranged mass shooter profile. Motives unknown for now. Hinkley just wanted to impress Jodie Foster. You've never known or seen any MAGA kids, come down to it. Here's one for you ladies:
  3. Very true. Gotta go back pretty far to understand the classical meaning. I doubt many members have studied John Locke. They know about John Wicke, though. F. A. Hayek is probably the leading modern revivalist of classical liberalism, as explained in his essay "Why I Am Not A Conservative" in his The Constitution of Liberty (1960).
  4. Not that anyone would, but you're SO relishing a really serious bash on a silly meme. Life is just terribly meaningless. Well, I'd say the artist should at least blend him in better, eh. More bronze, please. But let's see if we can't get you really frothing at the mouth now with Mount Rushmore! OMG!!! Trump himself said he wouldn't mind 🙂 Tell your caregiver to have the local hospital emergency room on standby and HAVE AT IT!!! LOL.
  5. Absolutely not, unless you have 3 kids with her first. Also, NO nose job. And not at a "clinic." Not only dangerous, but cheap boob jobs look especially bad. Yanhee International Hospital, starts at B116,000. https://www.yanhee.net/cosmetic-services/breast-augmentation-thailand/
  6. Yes. And you'd have to pay $19.64 "import charges" from the USA to Thailand. I learned that if ever you find something on Amazon first, like a promotion you'd seen mentioned somewhere, before ordering it always pays to check for the same product on Lazada and Aliexpress. The common knee-jerk "more expensive in Thailand" often doesn't hold true.
  7. Looks pretty good, but read reviews here: https://www.amazon.com/OpenSource-Wireless-Dual-Band-MediaTek-Bundle3-BPI/product-reviews/B0BDG6R41Q?reviewerType=all_reviews
  8. However, Crooks, who lived about an hour away from where the Trump rally shooting took place, had made a $15 donation at age 17 to ActBlue, a political action committee that raises money for Democratic and left-leaning politicians, Reuters reported, citing a 2021 Federal Election Commission filing. --Who was Thomas Matthew Crooks, the suspected Donald Trump rally shooter? Biden appointed an incompetent to head up the SS. Main mission is to hire more women, fits w/ DEI agenda. Admin didn't take Trump's security seriously enough. Incredible, amateurish security failure at multiple points, even getting Trump off the stage. Pathetic vid of female agent unable to holster her weapon, others milling around Trump's armored vehicle, one concerned about her sunglasses. Plus you have all the absurd leftist inflammatory rhetoric condoned by Biden, suggesting just the other day Trump should be in a "bullseye." He has nothing to run on now except Trump hate. The shooter, like all leftists, probably lapped up all this demonizing typical of Dims, while exposed only to fake news promoted by Biden and his agencies. Propaganda duly believed and parroted by the gullible posters here, of course: Now it looks like Trump's REALLY gonna win in November. OH NO. Maybe you could move to another country. Oh, wait . . . .
  9. As Sylvester Stallone says, "The check comes due on that." https://www.instagram.com/officialslystallone/reel/CLCigsmJXxx/?img_index=officialslystallone Set of bands, 600; knock off TRX, 1000; a pair of dumbbells, 800; treadmill/exercise bike, 10000 = 12.4k, and worth every satang.
  10. Reboot after the install. Yes, shouldn't be necessary. See if it happens to be minimized and running in the system tray. Right-click the file and run the Compatibility troubleshooter.
  11. Dark chocolate's good. Very dark, somewhat bitter, not candy, like 85% Lindt. Unfortunately, the price of chocolate has risen a lot.
  12. If open-minded, you soon adapt, no problem. Thais are a friendly, contented people, if very ethnocentric. If a bigot, however, it seems that you must always remain a bigot; and so the "challenge" and misery will never end. Then you turn to moaning, bashing, and nonsense on the forum for relief. Fill out a few forms on your computer, run 'em off yearly w/ copies of your passport. Go by the bank on the way to Immigration. In and out in 30 minutes, B1900. Meet all requirements, have the docs required (above), dated and signed. IO checks and gives you a number to pick up your passport the following day. Piece o' cake. Practice makes perfect. But you have to want to learn the basics and not be lazy. Bigotry is one of the main obstacles. Knowing basic Thai makes everything better, as should be obvious. Be financially diligent in your own country before you arrive. Bolt > Grab. Buy a motorbike, use motorbike taxis as convenient. Road checks sometimes occur and both Thais and farang are stopped and checked. Violations may sometimes be handled via donation, but you may get a ticket and your keys confiscated until you pay at a nearby table and given a receipt, or same at the police station. Unless, before the age of 60, you work in Thai company for a year and join Thai SS. Later continue modest payments and use gov't hospitals free of charge. To self-insure, have 4 million on call. Up North it gets quite cool, even cold. Take no interest in Thai politics, lest you be fall victim to the horrid brain-eating Whither Thailand? space monkeys that plague many of our miserable members. Incurable, except to return to your home country. Be warned. Have hobbies and interests to occupy your time. Forums like this one full of bashers and whingers may well ruin the great happiness you'd otherwise enjoy in Thailand. Best read just the first post in a thread, if any, or pinned threads, for news needed, such as for visa/taxation. Otherwise, the technical forums can have useful info, IT, Health for example. Most expats, especially property owners, live here happily w/o ever reading any forums, having real lives. Good example of paranoid, bigoted farangs loving to play victims and giving out ignorant, false info. Forums are full of 'em, hence avoid reading them. Couple of pinned threads, by the knowlegeable, has all the relevant tax info you need, here. The expat clubs have intelligent, informed members, and sites, you may also consult for needed info.
  13. Yep, the best are genuinely informative; and so the reader testimonials attest to the value of his message. During the COVID gym lockdowns I used resistance bands extensively, along with my TRX knock-off (another great bargain), a pair of dumbbells, and treadmill. Stayed very fit and made a smooth translation back to the gym. Don't need the gym that much, given what I know, but I like a few of the specialized machines. James Grage, above, uses high reps, classic Arnold, I'm not a fan of those. Intensity's far more efficient w/ less wear and tear, a la Arthur Jones/Mike Mentzer. I mostly used timed static contractions w/ occasional straight isometrics. Currently using some high reps w/ very low resistance (from a resistance band) to build up my rotator cuff.
  14. Yes. If you knew the technicality of Thai law, then you'd understand why. Trading sex for money per se isn't illegal, just as in many countries, including the UK. However, ignorance makes this one of our favorite lil' bashes.
  15. Wouldn't buy that old Honda Shadow 750. Whatta money sink. Top-heavy, too. ' Course, I did have some good rides on it. Would be more patient and really get down to some heart-to-heart talks to change some ladies' detrimental behaviors. Otherwise, about the same. Mostly, I'd like to do it all again. But then, knowing what I do know, it'd be different just 'cause I'd already done a lot so would now choose something new.
  16. Our Pattaya bashers are lovin' all this piling on! 🙂
  17. Nice lyrics but pedestrian, generic melody I needn't hear ever again. I rarely like any music offered up here.
  18. I've exhausted all the greats through repetition, so I sometimes turn to stuff that just recalls aspects of an era, like Northern Soul or a few 80s disco tunes. But I most often listen to smooth jazz in the background. Not always good, as the stations may succumb to funk influence or smooth jazz remakes of old popular tunes, hence not creative or abstract enough. Discovered some great artists that way.
  19. My junk is by definition good junk well worth my keeping. Some of it's fixable, too. When I get around to it.
  20. Mr Kevin doesn't look like the sort who'd go for sloppy seconds. Too well-bred. The issue was exclusive access.
  21. Yup. And ANF Posters, creates likes and that serious forum cred. Continual fodder for Brit tabloids for the prurient interest of the low Brit.
  22. The photo of Mr Kevin seems to have been lost amid the many forum downgrades. I happen to have downloaded it at the time. I doubt he spoke with a posh accent, so very rare in Thailand. Here he is, in case any of you recognize him.
  23. All Chromium-based.
  24. Maybe your YT downloader browser extension needs to be updated, or an update is in the works for the near future.
