  1. Lovely place, really. Note: Need to look where you're going. Stop lookin' at all them hot wimmen around. G-Shock watch. Trekking shoes to ensure successful pavement adaptation. Here: MERRELL Moab Speed 2 Men's Hiking Shoes. Jeans to prevent skint knees. Enough with the sandals and cargo shorts. Very convenient in the rainy season. 'Course, you could just use the one at the gym, or, better, a recumbent bike, and do the lifting you need. Shop at Central during the week, not weekends or holidays. Or just take a Bolt and chill. Whoops. ANF Real Estate Experts could have told you that you can't sell that condo in a glutted market full of expats desperate to sell and heading for exits. There go your life savings. Sattahip's too far from the paradise of Pattaya.🙂 Closer to U-Tapao and Sirikit, that's about it. Yeah, I think I'll just stay here by the beach in Pattaya. Cheers!
  2. Thais always have their Wats and families. Women: add beauty shops. Plenty of resources and help in the USA. Yet Suicide rates increased 37% between 2000-2018 and decreased 5% between 2018-2020. However, rates returned to their peak in 2022. --https://www.cdc.gov/suicide/facts/data.html
  3. You can top up that limit by adding cash, say 100k. Interest free, of course. Just sayin'.
  4. I think there's gay porn on your fave porn site to satisfy that fantasy. Not sure your boyfriend would approve of a lurid interest in other forum posters' buttocks, anyway. You of course have your own gym in which to study the male rear anatomy, but I'm not sure that you really go there. After needing arthroscopy on your knee in 2023 and then again nearly a year later just a couple of weeks ago? So that's either another of your made-up stories or simply stupid. The need for calorie tracking also signals the usual cluelessness.
  5. What they all said. Now: find a bank that'll offer you a secured card w/ balance equal to the security deposit. Had such many years ago w/ Bank of Ayudhya. Later I worked for a Thai co. and got a regular cc.
  6. Be sure they don't profit off you. That'll show 'em.
  7. Yup, you missed something and fell wholeheartedly for that standard ANF marketing clickbait. Works every time. But do find comfort in numbers.
  8. Very much so, believing that using the standard Hitler trope for demonizing Trump is new, clever, and extremely powerful.🤣 Just a standard cliché.
  9. So I did during COVID. Added TRX knockoff, treadmill. Only two dumbbells needed. Isometric leg (leg raises) and back exercises (hyperextension and revers) off the bed.🙂 Stayed in good shape. Added a side stepper recently. May go back to that at some point.
  10. Averages do, reflecting more arteriosclerosis, no comfort there. The standard recommended ranges for all ages have moved down a notch. In 2017, new guidelines from the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and nine other health organizations lowered the numbers for the diagnosis of hypertension (high blood pressure) to 130/80 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) and higher for all adults. The previous guidelines set the threshold at 140/90 mm Hg for people younger than age 65 and 150/80 mm Hg for those ages 65 and older. --Reading the new blood pressure guidelines In particular, older men should take note of this new health standard. The new guidelines state that 70% to 79% of men ages 55 and older are now classified with hypertension. Those who were previously considered healthy may now fall within the elevated categorization. --Updated Blood Pressure Recommendation for Senior Health Care Fits, as only 12% in the USA are metabolically healthy.
  11. Phone quickly stolen. Buy used Nokia 105 before arrival, tourist SIM card at airport or 7/11. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Nokia+105&_sacat=0&rt=nc&_udhi=653
  12. Lots of such vids appearing all the time. Selective blindness on your part, I guess.

  14. Irreparable in that location. Only choice is pull out the tooth, leave space.
  15. It's just all so complicated, the idea that two other kinds of ID--Thai ID--could sometimes be used in lieu of one's passport, so obviating the need to carry it.🙂 But then, after laborious ratiocination, only to arrive at the triumphant conclusion that if one doesn't have either alternative ID, a passport must indeed suffice.
  16. It can "be made to happen" with a different property owner, including yourself, DUH.
  17. Silly blanket statement that "it's needed." I pointed that it's not--necessarily. OBVIOUSLY, if you don't have a pink card, then you can't use a pink card. Did you ask the OP whether it's impossible that he can get a pink card, and why? But, based on experience a couple of years ago, I think a Thai DL can be used, and that should be given a try. (OH--for chrissakes, bring the passport too as backup. 'Course, some overstayers may have lost their passports.) How much more mileage do you need outta this silly belaboring the obvious?

  19. Yup. A Thai DL can be used in some cases, like for depositing cash OTC per the OP, and at the PO. ID requirements for bank deposits have been around a while and discusses previously on the forum. Nothing really new here.
  20. Mine didn't fall out of a tree, either. I made it happen.
  21. No, I really don't, and never do, except when taking a flight or visiting Immigration.
