  1. No. Slurred excusing and vote buying, virtue signaling, dog whistling, divisiveness from an angry old man. Disrespected SCOTUS, condoned illegality. He's in trouble in more ways than one. Don't be fooled by the canned applause track. Dims first. We're at a point where we have to have a Repub thug to fight leftist thuggery permeating the administrative state, media, tech, education, and favored corporations. The good news for you is that Trump tends not be very effective, hamstrung as he is and tripping over his own ego. Dims have increased his appeal by all the persecution, so it's likely he can get elected. A number of Repubs would be more effective and a lot less annoying, but none seems to have enough charisma to get elected. Dims in the same situation. They really only got Biden. Nobody likes Harris, Newsome made too big of mess of CA and is a kind of slick car salesman no one really likes. Etc. So it goes.
  2. Which Biden can't even do, so there's that as a starting point. True, he can't learn from the past.
  3. Merely a libtard talking point from MSNBC. The secretly negotiated Rino border bill was DOA in any case as it still permitted a million or so illegals per year, among other intolerable negatives. Trump of course didn't support it along with the majority of the Repubs. Why would they?
  4. Laughable. Let's wait and see. Reagan had the best speech writers, common sense, the right dramatic touch, and he delivered his speeches beautifully. He had extraordinary charisma, unlike this senile old fool.
  5. You probably know the infinite monkey theorem: a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type any given text, including the complete works of William Shakespeare. --Wikipedia So a point can be made that no one could possibly disagree with--without mentioning the wrong-headed and counterproductive plan for implementation that Biden would have mind. 🙂
  6. Perhaps the expat community could bash Thais less often on the forum and point out the good qualities of Thailand and Thais that make us glad we live here. We see a lot of uncompromising arrogance verbally that might have come from either of these recent Swiss perps.
  7. What a pile of steaming cr*ap, poorly delivered and uninspiring. Trained seals clapped all the way through. Convinced no one undecided, I think. The reality belies the rhetoric. About the worst I've ever heard. Johnson should have torn up his speech a la thuggish Pelosi, but took the high road. Had some subtly amusing expressions. How fallen from Reagan.
  8. Find the fastest and apply it w/ click of a button: https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/dns_jumper.html
  9. Why can't Thais brutally beat helpless old mothers over their shopping carts in our countries the way we do in their country? Let's equalize this behavior.
  10. Let's be extra nice to Thais for at least a while.
  11. Typically, you limit the number to say, 5, before doing another full backup, after which you may erase the previous backups. Not exactly. The incrementals etc aren't versions but changes. When you restore a backup, the incremental etc. changes will be integrated into the restore. I dunno, since I don't have Easus, but that sounds about right. Macrium Reflect Free does the same.
  12. Pretty basic. FreeFileSync free or SyncBack Free, among others, are much better. Besides, there's still robocopy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robocopy Very powerful. I still use it for some things, like removing empty directories.
  13. More simply, they aren't involved in all the supposed crime our anti-Russian bigots have always claimed they are.
  14. Yes, he's had two years of pre-diabetes in the 110-125 range, and now 3 days not in the pre-diabetic range. Cured? And reactive hypoglycemia itself can be an indication of pre-diabetes. He's had 3 incidents in 6 years. Reactive hypoglycemia is symptomatic, and occurs due to an abnormally rapid rise in blood glucose after eating, followed by an equally steep crash. It occurs repeatedly in affected individuals, and is considered a prediabetic state. --https://diabetes.medicinematters.com/hypoglycemia/type-1-diabetes/reactive-hypoglycemia/19678300 And latest HbA1c test was still 6. That don't look good. Now this consistent hypoglycemia. I think he should work (really work) to get those numbers in consistently good ranges, insulin naturally stable, and, as you noted, perhaps see an endocrinologist for a full picture.
  15. So after my online application was rejected 3 times (no reason given), I visited Jomtien. As others have noted, the 90-day reporting is in the building on the left, 2-3 people on the reception desk. None is friendly. They looked over my previous slip, noted I was not overdue, and then automatically started to hand me a new TM.47 to fill out anyway. But from reading here, I figured they might. I handed them one I'd already printed out and signed. The next question was, TM.30? I explained I live in my own condo. (Maybe this was behind the rejection; they forgot about that.) But they looked skeptical, so then I handed over a copy of the yellow book AND the copies of the passport, all signed. They took all that, so I assume that's what they wanted, and handed me a number. It may not be clear to you, since numbers are being shown and called out over a speaker at the next desk, that you'll also pick up your passport at this same desk. They will call out your number, if you can hear it. They'll keep your passport there to give you if you come by later. The waiting time was shown as 40 min, but it took an hour. There's free water in a cooler beside the desk. Immigration was overall pretty crowded. I don't look forward to my upcoming extension renewal. Amusing note: above the 90-day desk there's a big framed photo of a long line of expats/tourists stetched out into Soi 5. This reminds you to be thankful for the new buildings, seats, and aircon, though there still aren't enough seats in the main building. And this was the longest time I've ever waited for a 90-day report acceptance.
  16. After you get right the first time and your application is accepted, then you automatically fill in the same address via the search function.
  17. Sounds like a good idea. You're overweight; FBS indicates pre-diabetes. Consider a strict low carb diet. Stop being lazy and seriously exercise, put in your daily steps at minimum. You may be able to get your numbers into good ranges naturally.
  18. The usual laughable imagined victimization. This arrogant SOB's getting at least some of what he deserved already. When does the bribe kick in that our shrewdest members claim will prevent his deportation? Seems a bit late, don't it?
  19. Not really. Big no-nos. Suggest you get the gold standard of glucose tests, the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) if possible. But you have at least pre-diabetes. Better start dieting like a diabetic. Seriously exercise as well. The Diabetes Code: Prevent and Reverse Type 2 Diabetes Naturally
  20. Perhaps I'm thinking of scheduling particular backup jobs by name. SyncBack allows you to name and configure jobs and also group them into different groups. I make extensive use that feature w/ nightly, weekly, and monthly backups of different folders--and schedule them per job. But, truth to tell, I've only used the Pro version for years. Maybe Free is better than it used to be. 🙂 One thing I really wanted in Pro was the ability to back up locked files. I'm assuming your scheduling isn't just part of the free trial of Pro (or Home). Common practice. MalwareBytes is always doing that to me; every time they upgrade, it gives me all the paid features for a limited time. If you refuse, it continues to nag from the system tray. Exit, and the nag soon comes back. Now I have a kill MalwareBytes task that runs daily.
  21. Same here. SyncBack's been around forever and is still very much supported and updated. Has a lot of features. Goodsync mentioned earlier is also good. For quick & dirty, I use FreeFileSync. Free versions of good backup programs don't come with schedulers. The paid versions do. You can use Windows scheduler to open the program but then you'll have to run the backup task manually.
  22. Thank god they finally caught some, after all our claims that they were ALL going to provide sex services.
  23. Phyathai Sriricha's good and more reasonably priced. I was impressed by the health checkup package I got on promotion. Good assessment afterward. Contact Gavin Waddell, 089 - 7500293 or gavin AT phyathai.com
  24. Good he survived to verify he wasn't pushed by the usual suspects. CSI: ANF, move along.
