  1. Thank you. I’ll check it out. (It’s easy enough to do it on a computer, but a mobile app looks interesting.)
  2. iOS or Android? What’s the name of the App? thank you.
  3. I’m sorry to hear that and I hope you’re OK.
  4. If you’re not there permanently, there is chance that some neighbor hooked himself into your electricity. (Talking from second hand experience in our condo.) But, then again 36kBTU is massive and if they old or not well maintained then they’ll suck up the kW quickly.
  5. “Saying you know a lot…” Maybe expand your horizons. There’s more to life & marriage than Pattaya and bar girls. I can easily list many marriages that are doing just fine.
  6. Considering they’re sold on Lazada for 399 Baht (and for a brief moment I was seriously considering buying one) I am happy to share my design for free. ????
  7. This works quite well and is a one-man operation. Cost: close to zero; if you have some leftover PVC pipe and a plastic box. The broom-and-shoo usually involves a lot of shrieking if the Mrs is involved. ???? And you’re right, they usually run in the wrong direction.
  8. This is the only one (among 3-4 that I’ve tried) that works well.
  9. Hi Denim. Any advice on how to catch or trap them? I attached a PVC pipe to a small plastic food container and use that to catch them. THX
  10. True, Borax works amazingly well.
  11. Cashless society and boom of food delivery services: two positive outcomes of the covid lockdowns.
  12. Divorce is hard on kids. Even harder if siblings are split up. Even harder in multi-culture/race relationships. Maybe rotating custody? (Both kids stay with one parent for certain period, then move to the other parent.)
  13. Google “Eid Barber”; barber-trucks with A/C. I’ve seen two, imagine there’d be more, and regularly go to one. 100 Baht. Chaengwattana soi 10.
  14. I would say the effort (and disruption of holiday) of extending a visa here is higher than applying for a proper 2-month visa back home.
  15. Since my picture was removed, but none of the others… text only: Look out for the ‘blue label’ Sang Som. It is very decent.
  16. Then most of the posts/comments in this thread have to be removed. No?
  17. Or try these guys: https://maps.app.goo.gl/EF4WYGGEYHoy63MK8?g_st=ic
  18. I bought my custom guitar from this guy. He’s in Rayong. Built to my specs and then shipped it to me. I’m not a musician, but it sounds good to me. Check his FB profile.
  19. The divorce has to be made in farangland. No? (For the ex, a divorce in Th is “enough”. If I were you, I’d submit divorce documents at home too.)
  20. No kidding. BBQ sauce on a burger is disgusting (unless you’re ordering a chicken teriyaki, which we’re not talking about).
  21. Wouldn’t surprise me, and that’s even worse than BBQ sauce on a hamburger which seems to be popular now.
  22. Contact Thai customs. They speak English well and are very helpful. Expect heavy import duties (imposed on “value of items + shipping expenses”).

    Makro Pro

Not just at Makro. You can add BigC and Tops to that list. Just the way it is. (And I’d also not wait 3 days before clicking on submit.)
  24. You should investigate whether your local business idea is even legal for a foreigner. The majority of jobs are prohibited for expats. Even a foreigner helping his Thai wife run her business can land him in trouble with immigration.
