You'll need to say which Immigration Office, there isn't a single Line account for Immigration.

This months bill arrived today, now correctly coded as 1125; no one did come to check the property was now solely residential. Consumption down 8% on last month, but bill 20% less.

Well they can peg military spending back from the current 8 billion Baht, to the pre-coup level of 2 billion Baht annually. Every little helps! -
Immigration called to arrange a home visit this morning. Just the one IO, a couple of pictures inside and outside, signed the form, all done.

UK MPs have urged the government to treat retail investment in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin as a form of gambling. This has to be the most clear headed thinking on cryptocurrencies I've seen. Like gambling, cryptocurrency trading and investing can be addictive, MPs concluded. And while the underlying blockchain technology could benefit the wider financial services industry, the process of betting on the volatile price of unbacked assets such as bitcoin could lead consumers to lose life-changing sums of cash. The report said that regulating cryptocurrencies as gambling would be consistent with the government’s principle of “same risk, same regulatory outcome”. https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-65610851?

Ouch, you certainly pay a premium for living in Bangkok. I went to the Bangkok Hospital Hat Yai dental clinic just three weeks ago for my annual check-up, scale and polish, and that only cost me Bht1,650.

In the absence of any details as to where you currently are, and where exactly you're hoping to travel to, can I suggest you try the Rome2Rio website; very helpful in giving ideas as to travel options. https://www.rome2rio.com/ -
There's also a Bangkok Hospital in Hat Yai, and their dental clinic is excellent.

Anyone travelling through Hat Yai airport please remember it's Hajj time during May and July this year. Outbound flights Hat Yai - Medina are on 21-30 May 2023 with return flights Jeddah - Hat Yai on July 4-15, 2023. It's a big occasion for the Hajji, his family and village, so many come to the airport to see them off and welcome their return. You can expect traffic jams and delays on those days, so plan accordingly.

Who says Malaysia wants them? Malaysia has problems enough with conservative Islam in it's PAS voting northern states. Who says Thai Malays wish to be part of Malaysia? Back in 2006 when the National Reconciliation Commission reported there was no desire for independence or separation from Thailand, just that Yawi be recognised as an official language, that Sharia courts be allowed to settle religious and family matters, the establishment of an unarmed peace keeping force, and a strategic administration center for the development of the Pattani States.

Much the same here in Hat Yai, from 2003 no one cared, from 2020 it became a must have. It's just a paper shuffler job creation scheme.

Which part of Thailand? Humidity is high all year in the south, nicest months are January & February, they're the driest, coolest and least humid. Though it's all relative.
