Even if someone does not believe in climate change, I can't understand why they would not want more trees to be planted, the environment cleaned up and pollution stopped. Seems they are happy to live in an unpleasant polluted concrete and plastic world with no beautiful nature around them. They seem to want to destroy the environment and live in filth. Strange and sad.

No one needs to take these supplements unless they have some medical condition that stops them getting enough from their diet. Calcium does not boost immunity. Yiu will get all the vitamin D you need from indirect sunlight.. even in the shade. You don't need direct strong sunlight to make it..so not skin cancer worry! Your body can only uses any particular nutrient at the amount it needs. Taking more of something will have no benefit as excess will be filtered out of the body. Exceptions are far some fat soluble vitamins and some minerals...these are toxic and will cause you serious harm in excess. Just eating an averaged balanced diet, getting sunlight on your skin, is all you need to do. There is a lot of evidence that man made vitamins are not absorbed or utilised by the body in the same was as ones obtained through the diet. They have zero benefits to health at best and are harmful at worse, unless your are malnourished or have a metabolic disease. So please, unless told by a doctor, do not waste your money.

You are incorrect. I have good knowledge. I have previously worked or been involved with livestock farming for many years, and I am qualified with livestock husbandry and management qualifications from college. I also completed several modules covering (and researching) farming practices in the UK as part of a BSc(Hons) degree. I do agree that there are good dairy farms, especially in the west, but they are very much in the minority. Most dairy produce in the USA and Asia comes from less than ethical farming methods, involving a lot of animal suffering for maximising production and reducing costs. Well, anyway, we can just agree to difference of opinion here I think.

In order for them to be producing milk for humans the cows on most farms are forced to be artificially inseminated, then when they give birth the calf is immediately taken away from them (causing them great distress). After that they are milked every day for many more months past their natural time they would provide milk naturally for their calf. This provides a massive strain of the health of the cow, so it is fed antibiotics constantly in its feed to keep it dying from infections. Most are also kept in dark dirty stalls where they have no space to even walk about, leading to lameness. Many never even get to eat grass, instead fed an corn or vegetable by products not fit for human consumption. Next time you are out in the countryside here go and take a look at the conditions dairy cows are kept in. You will be disgusted. And it's hardly any better in the West with factory farming.

It's in the main supermarkets...but way overpriced! Topps has it as well as Rimping (if you are in CM) and Big C Extra. Tesco used to have it, but not been in there since they changed to Lotus's...so maybe not now. Also you can buy in online as already mentioned by a poster.

What is all this fuss about? I rarely ever eat breakfast. Simply not hungry in the mornings. As a treat I will have a full English..but that is lest than 5 times a year! I am healthy and the right weight. It's a myth that breakfast is essential or the most important meal of the day. OP...If you are hungry in the mornings eat normal sized portion or different stuff each time. Then you will get balanced diet. Don't eat the same each day....also that is boring. If you want to be super healthy eat some raw and stir fried vegetables for breakfast. Fiber will keep you feeling full and they have lots of nutrients and no fat....plus lower in sugar than fruits.

Pink Pineapple Is Illegal In Thailand – Smugglers Face Heavy Penalty

Wow man. Can you let up on this please and stop being so rude to me. I get it, you did not get the point i was trying to get across. I only used to poodle dog breed as an example. It could be any dog breed so long as it was not so unhealthy and deformed it could not give birth to puppies or find dead animals to scavenge or small animals as prey. Even my chihuahuas could probably hunt and kill enough mice, frogs and birds to survive and breed if they had to. I get your view and am happy for you to keep it. There is no need for further debate as we will not agree. -

No. You are incorrect. I am in no way insulting you here, but it's clear you have little knowledge of genetics or zoology, evolution etc You must realise that poodles and the fancy dog breeds of today have mostly been created in the last few hundred years right? Even in the last 50 or so years the show breeds are very different to how they were then. -

A few years can be a few thousand years...that is not long at all. Depends on your perspective. More or less 1 thousand years is no time at all in grand scheme of things. Could be only a hundred or so years. You are getting too hi f up on precise time when it's not the point of my post. I got this link. It's interesting reading. I was using the ideas in my original post to highlight the difference between genetically modified organisms which have had generic material from other species spliced into their DNA make up, and those which are simply selectively bred for desired characteristics for domestication. -

Not millions of years. A few hundred and the offspring of domestic dogs would end up looking and behaving like a wolf or similar wild dog, sure. Survival of the fittest....which will naturally select for the gene characteristics similar to wolves. -
How strong exactly? Where is your link....? It's also illegal for foreigners to grow it...you have to be a Thai national.

You do know the legalised weed here is basically nothing more than cabbage, right? It's got virtually no chemicals in it that will give you any high! What would be the point of growing it unless you want to make hemp bags or rope?

Pink Pineapple Is Illegal In Thailand – Smugglers Face Heavy Penalty
jak2002003 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well ..yes and no. These plants and animals are bred to exaggerate certain genetic abnormalities. They are not made by splicing or adding genetic material from other species into their own. Even though a poodle looks totally different from a wolf, it's still for all the same DNA in it. If they went feral and reproduced in the wild for a few years their offspring would revert to a wolf appearance again due to natural selection. It's the same with all other domesticated animals and plants. -
That was what I was thinking. We had to do star jumps, push-ups, squat jumps, etc etc...and (the horror) run about for one hour in the snow and wind in just a pair of nylon shorts and a thin T shirt while kicking a ball about. Perhaps this girl was sick or has medical issues. In which case they should have been made aware to the school by the girls parents.

Thai Expats celebrate Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in style
jak2002003 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That was exactly what I thought when I read the headline. Seems today English is a dying language, or people in general are just getting really dumb. -
Thank you. That place looks good. Just have to figure out where it is now. ????

Is there a decent place in CM where I can get my beard trimmed? I usually do it myself, but it could do with some professional shaping and trimming now.

Yes. If someone is raped and or drugged it does not matter if they are straight or gay! And you know very well you should not be joking about this subject. -

I bet you say that women who were raped and co operated with kidnapper or abusers also secretly liked it. Sad
