Man or women....it's a stupid idea to go jogging or walking alone at night in a dark area with no one about. That is common sense. Of course it would be nice to do as you like and always be safe...but you are in the real world not a fairy story for little children.

I would keep sending people over there asking for KFC every day. Few grab drivers perhaps. ????

Yeh...is too. We got our new car keyed both sides when we parked in front of a shop, for 15 minutes, on a public road with no parking restrictions. Another time we parked the car at a shop as we actually wanted to use the shop (we were going to buy an air conditioning unit) amAs we were closing the car doors an old woman came running out shouting at us and waving her arm about yelling that we can not park there. So we just drove off.....her loss.

Make the wildlife parks larger and move the farmers out so the animals can eat the lush plant growth on the more fertile land.

They are captive bred domesticated pet birds. If released into the wild they would be dead in a few days, unless they flew to some human to rescue them.

I won't miss the boring place. No atmosphere from the day it opened. Used to joke it was a ghost town like off the Western films...with tumbleweeds blowing through it. I think the first problem was that they were late opening when it was new. They got beat to the post by Central Festival. So they could not get the ice rink and shops that went to CF..and customer base. The food hall was really not so good..and more expensive than all the other food halls...and not even any English on the menus, when the place was geared up to international people. I think they should concert the building to luxury apartments now.

Seems like we will all have to wear masks here for ever. Also the emergency decree will be here forever.....

Well, if that was really the case the headline is very misleading and basically click bait.

Not so easy as Thailand. You have to have quite a lot of money and also buy property that meets certain criteria. You also have to live there full time a set period of years full time.... it is possible, but not as easy to live permanently and retire as Thailand....and certainly much more expensive.

What about all the motorbikes stopping at the red light on intersections. There are always more than 5 there!!!!

This is a joke, right? Or the list written up by some clueless moron? I mean, some of these places it's near impossible to get a retirement visa or live there full time permanently. Australia is really difficult to get a visa to live, and Portugal you can not say more then 6 months full time per year.

In the notice they blamed covid. That was just the final nail in the coffin in my opinion, as it never really took off when it first opened. It was going downhill for well before covid happened.

Isn't it time you got over it? You mention this in almost all your posts for years now. I think you would be happier person if you put that all behind you and focused on the future.

Oh dear. Please done waste you time and money on that rubbish. You know you have to have the transplant repeated every few years, it's painful, irritating, and you have to wear a hat and use medication on your head for months after the operation. Just shave your head and you will look good! In fact you will look better than with a hair transplant. They are two different things. One inside is shrine for ancestors. The little temple one outside is for the spirits. Ask your gf to explain to you. If she wants them she should buy them herself if it's her personal beliefs. Also...you will not like it when the spirit house is installed....then the village spirit witch doctor type guy will come and have some ceremony and burry some things in the ground where he says the spirit house is to go. He has to be paid for his service of course...and it will probably be all going on at some ungodly hour in the morning. Enjoy your Thai relationship.

Hmmmm. I spotted a few grammatical mistakes in the OP's post. I was a bit surprised considering his opinion that he was by far the the best candidate for the job. His post come across as rather entitled and a tad arrogant, not to mention raciest. Maybe his manner also came across like that in the interview and gave his potential employers a bad impression? Or, maybe he simply asked for too much money?

I would not eat anything that came out of that river! Where there are any temples it's illegal to fish...don't know about the rest of the river.
