  1. de-worm and vaccinate your beloved one. How difficult is it? Also - there are indoor cats and outdoor cats.
  2. rolling over phuket with a corpse to get more money from the hotel. cool way to get money!
  3. I've paid 25K for an agent in Pattaya for years but suddenly he got brain surgery and became kinda weird. Also I knew one "religious leader" who paid 500K for an agent to get PR, traveling to CW for a few month to "talk to poo yai" and suddenly she vanished. So I made up my mind - I would never put my well being in TH in the hands of sloppy agent. No matter how attractive their offer looks.

  6. thank you. very clear and informative. it adds-up to previous comments and makes a better picture.
  7. any hospital in BKK is better than Bangkok Hospital or Bumrungrad - overpriced and very low quality services. Well not exactly "low", rather price doesn't match quality of service. SiPH is not the right choice - you'll pay premium money for actual semi-public hospital services. Yet original Siriraj is very nice place and some doctors speak good English. Prepare for hours and hours of waiting. My friends (Thai) favorite is Bangkok Nursing Hospital <<< I have no idea why My favorite is Paolo at Saphan Kwai - Ari area
  8. and clash Thailand with MY in annexed 3 provinces on the South of TH. Brilliant idea!
  9. Nope. His mother called me from abroad begging to bring some stuff to him. So I had to travel from Bangkok and that was not pleasant trip. Why a**hole? Attitude issue. nuff said.
  10. the Pang Gan is subject of Surat Thani province with its very own prison, also known as "White Tiger" - it is solid concrete fortress that hot like hell during daytime and very uncomfortable during night time. I visited some sad a**hole there - he said impossible to live there.

  13. Cream de la cream of expat communities in Thailand: In case you didn't get it: this is how thais feed beggars and bums. Not even a table "you can eat on the floor"
  14. Yes, there's a in-depth study from Chula University. Available at Uni Library.
  15. Ratchada Soi 4. Brits are instant, drunk and dancing. You might like it!
  16. yes, I heard and witnessed that too. plenty of pimps and dealers here in Bangkok. "Defenders" of Holy Land. Nice guys to chat but very sneaky to deal with businesswise.
  17. So they are useless, that's obvious. But why [for X-sake] adult man would join this circus? inferiority complex? Nah! as we've heard many times: "When in doubt - follow the money" I don't know about all of that "filthy 40" there were few cases of extortion committed by those "volunteers". Translation services? from Hungarian to broken tinglish to policeman who barely can say "what you gonna do when they come for you"? Please! Again: follow the money, not vanity, pride or [ROFL] public order.

  19. Polish surname. Got it. I heard about this "lost american daddy" some 15+ years ago. It was another way to get citizenship and cost (back than) about $10K. Terry got $3K and a ticket. Meanwhile "my thai GF flies with me to AU" was 20K thb, I knew one old Wilbert who did it every year.
  20. yes, indeed
  21. Our neighbor is Pol.Col. and his 2 sons are dual UK & TH. I asked him "how is possible to be a citizen of 2 kingdoms?" as I was also under same impression. I think somehow that is not an issue anymore & at all.
  22. During Syrian crisis there were many families seeking refugee status (that building near UN HQ at Ratchada Damnueng rd). All refused. They tried visa-runs, working ilegaly at kebab-shops. Many ended up in IDC. The story was tearful. The whole families went to detention.
