I have spent in total well over ten years in Pattaya and of your list I have witnessed two fights, seen ladies patrolling Beach Rd, and know people who have been accosted by ladyboy thieves. Other things exist but like yourself I have no experience of them. Don't go to Pattaya if you dislike it so much.

    Are you saying you experience all of the above regularly.? Or you just read about them somewhere. I think you do not know the area very well and would be best off continuing to stay away.

    By African standards not a bad place, a few decades since I've been but for Muslim place there were a few licensed premises, can't comment about the women as I was only there a few nights and wasn't aware of any.

    I was just going to say something similar, with a slight change as I would say that most African countries are not great at all.

    It stuck in my mind because it mentioned Iraelis, people who were very rarely if ever mentioned in the Thai media. Got that eh.? How you can read anything anti-Israeli or anti-Jewish into my post is puzzling and says more about yourself than me.

    The topic is actually about young Israelis behaving badly in Thailand. Around the millennium time young Israelis were making themselves unwelcome in the Khaosan Rd area for antisocial behaviour. This is the first problem I am aware of since then.

    No the pissartists and alcoholics will be home alone with their regular supply as they are most days. Why not close every business, why does the licensed trade alone have to suffer.

    Predictable meaningless comment about bar closures. Like me many people do not want to stock up and drink at home, they enjoy the pub or bar atmosphere. I have not kept a beer in the fridge for decades. Not a solitary drinker.
