Like some others I have no idea what you are talking about, despite reading the post. I have no idea what a 'stack' is or where to find one. Several times I have tried to extend an AGODA booking while staying at the hotel, it has always been cheaper to use AGODA again for the extra days. ALL I care about is that what I pay is a good price. By the way, booking.com is owned by the same company!

Pita most preferred politician to become Thai PM in NIDA poll
biggles45 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes, but his son is now the leader. He was 30 when his parents stole millions of dollars from the people. Hard to believe he didn't know what was going on. Sometimes people get the govt they deserve! -
Will your foreign wife be able to join you in UK?
biggles45 replied to kwilco's topic in Marriage and Divorce
Brilliant thinking. Polls show high immigration numbers are a major concern and an election next year. illegal immigration is costly and getting all the headlines, so what do we do? Make it more difficult for the spouses of British citizens who apply to LEGALLY enter. -
Pattaya city plans for one-way roads trial in 2024
biggles45 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Thai motorbike riders will take absolutely no notice of this, as with any other one-way road. -

Under reciprocal ASEAN arrangements, Thai license holders can drive on their license in other ASEAN Countries. I use my Philippine license regularly. -
Paetongtarn Shrugs Off Questions About Her Father’s ‘Illnesses’

'Come the next election they will be wiped out along with the other traitors who stole the election from the winning party Move Forward' Unlikely, the current govt will take steps to amend the constitution to ensure no-one who is not on board with the status quo has a chance. A repeat of the last election for sure. -
TAT forecasts surge of Chinese tourists into Thailand via land in 2024
biggles45 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
TAT must be a wonderful place to work! Every day you can issue ridiculous predictions, that never come true, and YOU KEEP YOUR JOB. -
'The arrogance of some people, sounds like England' I think this video is just click bait. This woman looks the same as on another video I watched recently On this one she had her illegal use of a guy's internet cut off when he put a password on it. She knocked on his door to get the password and had a lot of logical liberal reasons why she should still be allowed to share it, at his cost

Opinion: Reforming the police can be an easy win for Srettha
biggles45 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Corruption is part of the police Culture, as is doing as little as possible without some 'reward' You could double their pay and they would not stop taking bribes, shaking people down or work any harder. -
Thai Ministry proposes Clean Air Act to combat rising pollution crisis
biggles45 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
A total waste of time. Thais just ignore any laws they don't agree with and no one enforces them anyway. Just look at Chiang Mai in the smokey season to see this in action. How many years ongoing now? -
'Buddhist pacifism' This is a myth, every day there are reports of road rage with weapons, security ganging up on customers etc. Cause a Thai to believe he has lost face and see how passive he is. It's just PR for the tourist industry

Incredible! Tiny thai 148/42 drive big bike
biggles45 replied to Shop mak's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
'Riding' a big, high seat Adventure bike is not a problem. Preventing it from falling over when you stop is. She would only be able to put one foot on the ground, with the bike likely leaning in that direction, hardly a stable position. And if it falls she will have a tough time getting it upright again. -
So, a guy who admits he doesn't use the baht buses to Jomtien is arguing with a guy who uses them regularly, is aware of the new queueing system, and he calls this guy 'stupid' If you ask the driver of an empty baht bus if he is going to Jomtien of course he will say yes, and charge for a private ride. If he has passengers he might even throw them off and take the private rate... Happened to me.

Opinion It is time to abolish the death penalty in Thailand
biggles45 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
' The death penalty has no place in civilised countries.' With regard to their judicial system no one could call Thailand 'civilised'. It is corrupt from the bottom to the top and in so many cases no thinking person could have any confidence in so many results.... think of Kao Tao. -
Pattaya Authorities Tackle Nuisance from Transgender Women

That seems a rather harsh thing to do to the police, they are just trying to make a living! -
Russians get an extended 90 day visa-waiver : Tim Newton Today - Oct 17
biggles45 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
' I will make sure my tourist money will go into Filipino pockets' The Philippines has very easy long stay requirements. You can actually enter either Visa Free, or with a 60 day tourist visa and extend up to a maximum of 36 months. You then leave, re-enter and start the process again. I have 2 American friends who have been here 4+ years. I have had a Retirement Visa (SRRV) for 9 years and have NEVER visited an immigration office. You get a Resident card which lasts 2 years, then you renew thru the retirement association
