I renewed mine recently here in Pattaya. I will be 90 when it expires and hopefully still able to drive!

It is against the law in Thailand to rent a condominium for less than a month since condominium projects do not have a hotel license. I believe most large condominium projects in Pattaya are now enforcing this.

I use good quality headphones when I watch TV. I find that works better than my hearing aids with my soundbar.

Some bad advice above. I recommend using an agent so you don't waste a lot of time and effort. I used All Ways in Pattaya and was very pleased.

Is it OK to wait until after my old license expires? My understanding is that you get almost an additional year by doing so.

I wound up using Maneerat to to renew my extension of stay for my OA visa and I was very pleased with their service. I highly recommend them.

I recommend going to a Samsung store so you can actually try the phone and feel it in your hands before buying it. Samsung makes very fine phones and I've been happy with them for many years now. Also, they will set it up for you, install the latest software, do the configuration and transfer all your data, apps contacts, messages, etc. from your old phone.

Now that VIP Visa is no longer operating, I am looking for another agency to help renew my OA retirement visa. I would like some recommendations please. I have no interest in doing it myself, so please refrain from suggesting that.

What happened to VIP Visa? Their office on Jomtien 2nd Road is gone. And their telephone goes directly to voicemail.
