King Charles sends urgent warning in 80th anniversary address
His mother lived in a different era - the world changes and people change with it. Or do you think nothing should ever change. If so, where are the dinosaurs (present company excepted)?

I think that is anything political. And as a man (which is what I was referring to) he has his views as you and I do.

I have yet to see advice that says if you have Covid but are vaccinated it is OK to mix with the general population - I am sure many do but I am equally sure it is not recommended because there is a risk of transmission.

King Charles - as an institution I reject the privilege. As a man I quite admire his position an many things.

Snapdragon Processors
Thanks I will - but there seems to be a big push on reviewers recommending Snapdragon notebooks. I hope your issues get resolved soon but I'll stick with Intel or AMD (probably) for now

Virologist network reaffirms support for mRNA vaccine platform
Thanks for trying - I was vaccinated at 77 and thereafter (81 now) and I'm still around (had Covid at least twice) so I feel my choices were the correct ones for me.

Snapdragon Processors
I'm looking to replace my existing Lenovo Legion. Initially when I replace I always look at the reviews (PC Mag, Tech Radar etc). I do not want a Chromebook and it seems that many reviewers are pushing devices with the Snapdragon processors but I have heard that not all apps will run on this processor. Anyone have experience with a device using Snapdragon? Thanks

That is true but I'm not sure being vaccinated actually stops you getting the disease I think it helps your body fight the disease when you get it. So I think (but I stress think) that even vaccinated people can pass the disease on to other people.

Every vaccine has its deniers right from the TB jab through Polio and many more to Covid. If you don't believe in vaccines, its simple - don't have them BUT don't criticise people who do.

Thailand's Visa Shake-Up Threatens Retiree Paradise
Wife and kid. So, wife and kid hell? - Thailand hell? - everything hell? Old management technique - if a problem is too big break it down into smaller parts and deal with each part separately. Can't spend you life living in hell

Thailand's Visa Shake-Up Threatens Retiree Paradise
MY quibble with the headline is: I wouldn't call Thailand a retirement paradise! I wouldn't call it hell either! It's the same as many other countries for retirees I think. Everchanging rules, permanent uncertainty and complications with banks, government etc in country of birth. You might ask what keeps me here - she does - otherwise I'm long gone.
