    If that is correct. I know its not within the spirit (forgive the pun) of the law/rule but .... If you must (not you personally) buy the alcohol at the bar the day before and drink it the next day.

    Just another payday for "consultants" surely it's better to solve the issue in Bangkok (that costs money with less political noise) than deal with the politics and enormous infrastructure costs of a move to Nakhon Ratchasima. And finally, will the goverment workers want to move?

    I guess she's looking for another source of income as I understand she has been banned from administering her charity due to some questions about how its funds were used If there is substance in these allegations then Thailand may be just the place for her.

    Far more important than Alcohol in bars and shops being prevented from selling - I have just been told that hospitals will only be accepting emergencies - no regular visits - is that true

    It's their country so it's their call - if you can't live without alcohol for one day that's a very sad state to be in and if you are that desperate stock up.
