  1. Could also bet I have walked there in July. On their website they show total <deleted>. Or where is "IT City Tower Pattaya"?
  2. And your friend is known under the name of khee niaow ???? (stingy/cheapskate)
  3. Pattaya 3 Star. About 10 to 20 Baht above 7/11. Couldn't care less. But cheaper hotels now just offer a full size fridge without service.
  4. Currently not from U-Tapao to Udon. Plenty of flights from Suvarnabhumi which I would prefer (closer, easy bus/taxi). Plenty: well... 3 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon until 6:05 PM
  5. Would have asked the same. 1000 or 2000. Absolutely common as long as I can remember. Same with scooter rental. For weekly promo price the full amount is due at check-in. Maybe some hi class hotels being paid with credit card block a garantuee on your card and you will not even notice? Similar to car rental.
  6. No BS but serious. I got these for PWs used on less than important sites where you are forced to register for simply reading/downloading some stuff. For those sites I use the same or similar password, quite simple 8 characters. If it leaks who cares. Registering with dedicated mail addresses that I could dump if necessary. BOLT registration would fall in this category.
  7. Lying and phantasizing. But the German gas storage fills up ahead of plan. A blunt sword for the autocrat lost completely. Tear down the pipelines.
  8. Very strange that the passport has to be kept for weeks. Retirement extension for me is a 30 minute affair at immigration without any helper.
  9. Not required as they have none! (extended space) I was quite puzzled when I first noticed that.
  10. Could you detail what kind of visa or extension you are applying for? Sounds unreal. Typical cases are under consideration periods of a month but you get a stamp in the passport and it is returned to you.
  11. Silly prices. Similar to some other drugstore products. Way more expensive than in the EU.
  12. I repeatedly ordered supplements from "PipingRock". A US company. Ordering and shipment from NJ always painless. Credit card required (no debit etc.). Usually it's not about multivitamins but this time I was tempted to add. ("Mega Multi Men 50+"), fairly cheap. Also ordered zinc pills (dirt cheap). Only after receiving I noticed that the "suggested serving" of two(2) vitamin pills results in these ridicolous overdosage (1000%+). Instead of 2 pills I now take half a pill and will probably not order again. Same with zinc, 50 mg! Thats way over suggested intake and zinc is not harmless when overdosed. Also half a pill now. More is better does not apply to vitamins. In best case it goes to the bowl. Worst case it clogs liver and kidneys.
  13. Do you have a Microsoft account and logged in to that?
  14. Not worth a separate thread: ThaiVietjet starts three flights weekly from CNX to SGN (Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon).
  15. Needs some optimism to fill a 737-800 even if not daily. They fly Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday. Promo price for Sunday Sep 11th sold out
  16. They need exercise/training in North Korea I have to bite my tongue not to comment how #1 treats his guards. Example set.
  17. Did some "medication" made him feel like he could fly? How many Putin critics afraid to be next?
  18. All exchange facilities within the premises of the airport (AOT controlled) are hefty rip offs and have exact same rates (booths/banks no matter) between 7 to 10 percent worse than in town. On the basement of Suvarnabhumi there is the connecting passage to the railway link. This area does not belong to AOT and there you find good rates at a couple of exchange booths (two or more, don't know what is left after COVID). Worth the walk depending on the amount to change. I would never change more at the airport than needed for the first few hours (transport to city etc.).
  19. Just look for the "No sex" sign at the entrance
  20. Just the other way round. 1625W would be about 7.4A. Do not try 220V/24A (~5300W) on such a cord except you have a fire extinguisher at hand.
  21. Yes and seems they start today. Flight from CNX should touchdown soon: Arrived 14:05
  22. All motorbikes (even a 110 cc) need the compulsory insurance. But coverage and price are a joke. I assume your thread would get more attention in the motor forum?
  23. At Nong Khai/Vientiane (July 17) I turned back about 2 hours later (finally studying silly prices at some fancy duty free shop ).
  24. Yes but seemingly within a Buddhist temple. I am not an expert but those religions mix quite liberally here.
