German Tourist Assaulted by a Group of Thai Ladyboys on Pattaya Beach Road

A German tourist was assaulted by a group of Thai ladyboys on February 24 on Pattaya Beach Road, Chon Buri. The altercation involved the group attempting to take the tourist’s wallet, with the situation culminating in physical assault. The tourist sustained injuries during the incident, and a video shows one member warning bystanders not to record it.

The incident began when the 55-year-old tourist, who had brought a ladyboy back to his accommodation, suspected theft of 35,000 baht and 1,200 euros from his safe. He encountered the individual again while searching along Pattaya beach and, upon restraining them, was confronted by five to six other ladyboys who intervened by assaulting him. The cause of the dispute remains unclear, but it has drawn attention to ongoing issues in the area.

Bystanders intervened to help the tourist escape, allowing him to file a complaint at Pattaya City Police Station. Alleged assaults and thefts by ladyboys targeting tourists are a recurring problem in Pattaya, especially on the beach. The police stated they are actively investigating the complaint and aim to identify those involved.

Going forward, local authorities may face increased scrutiny over safety concerns for tourists in Pattaya. However, the police have assured they are pursuing legal actions against the offenders. The incident adds to the ongoing challenge of addressing criminal activity involving tourists in the region, reported The Thaiger.

Poor greedy Marcus, he should have only taken 1 man back to his room, I'm sure it would have been a happier ending 😂

This is not how anyone wants to be famous.

^^^ Of course, a woman here would never steal right. Perhaps Pattaya is the issue?

Or perhaps the gov't can't see the woods for the trees and enact legislation carrying very severe punishment for such crimes plus full page exposure of the perpetrators.

I don’t really understand how the lb took all that cash from his safe unless he left it open and unattended or gave the lb the combination/key and left the room.

To then chase after the lb by himself was totally reckless.

All in all, he made some pretty bad decisions.

My thoughts entirely- overall a series of poor decisions - he is fortunate to apparently only have suffered the indignity of being famous online- until the next video appears of a similar situation- and I am sure we will not have to wait long for such a further video to appear

REALLY! Where have you been for the multiple years that has been going on there.....in the "Family Friendly" city of Pattaya??

You missed the keyword "Phuket" in my comment, so the answer is I have been in Phuket, it has no connection to the low life tourist life in Pattaya.

These days in Phuket most tourists are as I said, couples, families with kids, tour groups, the ladyboys have mostly move out quite a few years ago.

Try reading a bit more slowly next time in order to not miss important keywords. 😃

As an elderly male homosexual I must say I've never understood the 'attraction' of ladyboys.

I've only ever a few times over the years seen them up close at 1000 in the morning down Nana way and dressed as if they were going to a ball. Just ridiculous in my eyes.

Most straights seem strange too. Last night I saw 3 normal farangs on the train. That is rare.
