The altercation occurred on Thaweewong Road, escalating from an argument inside Soi Bangla. A video shared on Facebook by Apichat Phanchalad captured the incident, showing the men fighting before one lay motionless. The other man fled before authorities arrived, leaving his friend injured.

Pol. Col. Korakrit Khankhrea of Patong Police stated the conflict stemmed from a dispute between the two friends. The Australian tourist received first aid from the Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation before being taken to Patong Hospital. Authorities have advised him to lodge a formal complaint to initiate legal proceedings.

Looking forward, police may begin a search for the other tourist involved in the fight. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities urging the injured party to cooperate fully, reported Khaosod.

My thoughts as well- like arguing at the beach over a grain of sand- let us be honest as a resort there is no shortage of ladies is there?

I was first in a Phuket in 1976. No resorts. A few bungalows on the beaches. Beachfront land was 1,000 baht a rai. They could not give it away. 

Went back in 1986. Had developed alot. Still very nice. Again in 1993. Far more development. Still amazing. Azure seas. Spectacular women everywhere. Great food. 

Did not return until around 2008. It was degraded, for the most part. But, still decent. Good nightlife.

Again around 2014. Nowhere near the place it used to be, with a diminished nightlife, but not awful.

Back again in 2023 and there was absolutely no charm left, very few attractive gals and Bangla Road was absolutely horrific, with barely a good looking girl to be found with the exception of just a couple of Go-Go's charging truly stupid money.

The primary population of tourists were Arabs ,Malaysians, Indians and Russians and most of them felt like low end tourists and expats. The proliferation of Russians was too much to bear. They are SO obnoxious. No need to ever return. The charm is lost. The over development is stunning. The prices were crazy. Yikes.

Phuket getting like Pattaya low life tourists ruining both places as quality tourist resorts which they both were a lot of years back

Being on the losing side of a fight doesn't automatically make you a "victim". We have no idea who started it or who's at fault. Probably both.

She is mine. No she is mine. I barfined her first and then you barfined her a few days later, so she's mine since I found her first. Okay so you say she's been with 5,600 guys, that's not really an issue, because I'm deluding myself into thinking that she's direct out of university like she told me. Why would she lie? She is a gem and she's definitely worth fighting over.
