Laem Thuat pier is here – but don't count on bringing a car over from that pier. The car-ferries depart from Raja Ferry's pier in Don Sak, Sakon Port (links are to detailled Google-maps)... mindovermatter
FerrySamui has plenty of available departure times from Surathani to Koh Pangan. It's a ferry booking agent but they're affiliated with reliable ferry companies. I've used them several times before and never had any problem. Cheap ferry tickets and very responsive customer service. Not too sure though if they offer a car ferry service. You might wanna try contacting them. No car ferry it seems, and anyway why booking with anybody else but the ferry company directly ? Also the problem is that you need to queue to get a direct boat from Donsak to KPG, it is never possible to arrive in the morning and get the first boat. You must way the afternoon boat. bluewavesam
@mindovermatter Yeah, I've booked with ferrysamui a few times before too. I totally agree. I think they have the cheapest ferry prices. Will be in Phangan for the NYE. Can't wait!

Book direct, skip the commission. https://www.rajaferryport.com/
