If you have a multiple entry non-o visa from an embassy or consulate you have to leave the country every 90 days for a new entry.

The 90 day reports can only be done if you have a an extension of stay or a visa that allow a stay longer than 90 days.

thanks for replies so far--im still a little confused...

i now understand that 90 day report is needed 90 days after each re-entry into thailand---but-- i have a non-imm  retirement visa until 28nov 2018....multiple entry......this means  i can come and go as i please until 28 nov 2018...dont have to leave thailand every 90 days  ???   my visa was issued at chonburi

It seems that you do not have a Visa.

You appear to gave an extension of stay.

If I am correct

Your application for this counts as your first 90 day report.

You need to report after 90 days of continuous stay after this date.

I don't see how it can be valid until November 2018.
