latest info on fibre optics in Patong?

Featured Replies

We currently use an over-air adsl supply which is variable at best. TOT have been canvassing the area for new and free install of fibre optic on a 12 month contract.

Any up to date experience of the quality thereof? Was thinking on the 100/10 package.

I thought CAT already did fibre connections in Patong. They are significantly more reliable than TOT.

I have TOT fiber and it works just fine. So far no bad weather interruptions  - 100 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up. I also have TOT ipTV and it works well.

I have found 3BB fiber optics excellent.

200/100 1,200 Baht per month.

When I increased my speeds from 50/20 to 100/20 it seemed as if downloads, etc. were turbo charged but now I'm thinking of going up to 200Mbs. Addicted to speed.
