Kl Non Imm B

Featured Replies

Hi

I imagine this has been covered before but after searching the threads i couldn't find all the relevant info so here goes...

What's the cost for a non imm B visa from the Thai Embassy in KL?

What documentation is required?

I understand that the visa will only be for 3 mths. Can you extend this at Bangkok Immigration to 12mths or what is the best process for doing this.

Thanks in advance.

Can't remember the exact cost I think it was around 300 ringitts (3000 baht) for a single entry Non-B at KL. Paperwork required was

* letter of job offer

* company finanicals

* a bunch of others I can't remember now :o

If you get a single entry non-B visa the steps from there are.

a) Apply for work permit at Dept of Labour

:D Receive work permit 2 weeks later - valid until the expiry of your non-B

c) Apply for extension of stay based on business at Immigration

d) Receive 9 month extension stamp a few weeks later if all your paperwork is in order

e) Extend your work permit at Dept of Labour .

All of these require a ton of paperwork and frequent back and forths - best if you have thai staff experienced with it do it for you.

I'm at step e now myself.
