Consumer police probe complaints about loan sharks

Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) officers who visited the Northeast on Tuesday to gather complaints from loan-shark victims have found about 1,000 affected debtors in Khon Kaen, Loei and Udon Thani provinces.

Boy’s body found after Mae Hong Son flood

PHUKET:-- The weather warning for heavy rain and winds issued by the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) yesterday has been re-issued today (Sept 26), forecasting more heavy rain from Thursday until at least Saturday (Sept 30).

Another parasail accident at Patong Beach injures Chilean tourist

A Chilean man in his late 20s was lucky to escape more serious injuries after his parasail finished up in trees after dragging the man along the ground and into several parked motorbikes.
