Man arrested with 104,000 meth pills in Chumphon

Police and troops have arrested a man after 104,000 methamphetamine pills and 2 kilograms of crystal meth were found hidden in his pickup truck.

 

Police held a press conference on Friday to announce the arrest of Nattikarn Toh-ngoh, 34, at 9am at a road checkpoint manned by police and troops in Chumphon’s Patieu district. Officers found the drugs hidden among spare tires in the back of the pickup, reporters were told.

 

Nattikarn admitted that he was hired to take the drug from Nonthaburi to a recipient in Phatthalung.

 

The 10am conference was held at the Chumphon provincial police head office and chaired by Chumphon Governor Narong Polla-iad, with several senior police and Army commanders of the province participating.
