Interesting, I did find leg room with China Air short. Loved Taipei airport.
Not a great fan of BA, but they're OK.

    If you want a direct flight its either BA or Eva or Thai. I would take Eva. Eva's prices aren't always low so if you have the opportunity for a cheap one from London snap it up!

    Wife (Thai) and I always fly Eva Air LAX/BKK or BKK/LAX.  No issues. Elite class (Premium Economy) is a step above the back of the bus.

    Flown LHR-BKK a few times with Eva very good airline, also has one of the best safety records of any airline
